Amplified VHF/UHF/FM Indoor Antenna
OWNER’S MANUAL — Please read before using this equipment.
Your RadioShack Amplified VHF/UHF/FM In­door Antenna boosts signals by 10 dB to pro­vide clearer television reception. The antenna has adjustable telescoping, chrome­plated VHF/FM elements for better VHF/FM reception. The multi-position tuning control provides improved VHF picture quality and you can adjust the UHF reflector dish for bet­ter UHF reception. The antenna comes with a 3-foot, 75-Ohm coaxial cable for use with cable-ready televisions.

Cautions:
You must use a Class 2 power source that supplies 9V DC
and delivers at least 100 mA. Its center tip must be set to positive and its plug must fit the antenna's jack. The supplied adapter meets these specifications. Using an adapter that does not meet these specifications could damage the antenna or the adapter.
• Always connect the AC adapter to the antenna before you connect it to AC power. When you finish, disconnect the adapter from AC power before you dis­connect it from the antenna.

screw VHF terminal connections, connect a 75-to-300-Ohm transformer/splitter between the supplied coaxial cable and the TV’s VHF/UHF terminals. Trans­former/splitter’s are available at your local RadioShack store.

3. Insert the supplied AC adapter’s small plug into the

4. Place the antenna on top of the TV or mount it on a wall close to the TV (see “Wall Mounting”).
5. Plug the adapter into a standard AC out­let.
Wall Mounting
1. Select a location within 3 feet of your TV. Then use the supplied template on Page 3 and a pencil to mark the mounting screw locations on the wall.

5. Place the antenna over the screws and pull it down to seat it.
