1 to 4 Professional Bi-Directional Cable Amplifier
OWNER’S MANUAL — Please read before using this equipment.
Your RadioShack 1 to 4 Professional Bi-Directional Cable Amplifier is
designed for use with a drop distribution cable TV (CATV) system that
requires bi-directional transmission in the interactive network. It minimizes signal loss for long cable runs and also amplifies and distributes
the signal smoothly to four Internet-access and pay-per-view services.
The amplifier’s high gain amplifies a weak signal to produce a good
picture.
Its features include:
54-1000 MHz Forward Path and 5-40 MHz Reverse Path
quency range covers the 300-450 MHz Hyper-Band and provides excellent amplification for the forward path of a drop CATV system.
FR-4 Glass Fiber PCB and Sophisticated SMT (Surface Mount
Technology)
High Stability Zinc Alloy Die-Cast Housing
quency interference and heat-sinking problems.

Note to the CATV System Installer:
the CATV system installer’s attention to Section 820-40 of the NEC,
which provides guidelines for proper grounding and, in particular,
specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to th e grounding
system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as practical.
