This chapter provides basic information about the QNAP TS-x53DU NAS.

About the TS-x53DU

Powered by an Intel® Celeron® J4125 quad-core 2.0 GHz processor, the TS-x53DU supports various disk storage configurations to better meet your virtualization and data storage needs. It supports up to 8 GB of DDR4 memory, and a SATA 6 Gbps hard drive interface.
The TS-x53DU also features two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and a PCIe 2.0 x2 slot for better scalability and flexibility.

1. Power off the NAS.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Disconnect all cables and external attachments.
4. Remove the case cover.
