This chapter provides basic information about the QNAP QBoat Sunny.
About QBoat Sunny
The QBoat Sunny is powered by an Annapurna Labs Alpine AL-314 quad-core 1.7 GHz processor and 2 GB
DDR3L memory. The QBoat Sunny provides three Gigabit Ethernet ports, two M.2 SSD slots, one M.2
expansion slot, and a full set of I/O ports. Running QTS Lite, the QBoat Sunny functions as an application
server and an IoT gateway, enabling IoT makers to create their own custom platforms.

Heatsink Base
The heatsink base provides multiple screw holes that enable you to attach the QBoat to various platforms or
connect it to other devices.
Important
Pay attention to the sizes of and the distances between the screw holes. Ensure that the
QBoat can be securely attached to the platform or connected to the device that you
