IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions - All the safety and operating instr uct ions should be read before the a ppliance is
operated and should be saved for future reference.
2. Retain instructions - Th e safety and operating instr uct ions should be retained for future reference.
3. Heed Warnings - All warnings on the appliance and in t he
operating instructions sh ould be adhered to.
4. Follow instructions - All o peration and use instructio ns
should be followed.
5. Water and Moisture - The appliance should not be u sed
near water; for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink, laundry tub, in a wet basem ent, or near a swimming
pool, and the like.
6. Carts and Stands - The appliance should be used only wit h
a cart or stand that is recommended by the manufacturer.
An appliance and cart comb in ation should be moved with
care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven sur faces
may cause the appliance and car t combination to overtur n.
7. Wall and Ceiling Mounting - The appliance should be mounted to a wall or ceiling only as
recommended by the manufa c t ur er .
8. Ventilation - The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with
its proper ventilation. For ex ample, the appliance should not be s ituated on a bed, sofa, rug, or
similar surface that may block the ventilation openin gs; or plac ed in a built-in installation, such as a
bookcase or cabinet that may impede the flow of air thr ough t he ventilation openings.
9. Heat - The appliance sho uld b e s ituat ed away from heat sourc es such as radiators, heat regi st er s ,
stoves or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
10. Power Sources - The appliance should be connected to a pow er s upply only of the type described
in the operating instructio ns or as marked on the appliance.
11. G round ing or Polarizatio n - Precautions should be taken so that the gr ounding or polarization
means of an appliance is not def eat ed.
12. Power-Cord Protection - Pow er supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be
walked on or pinched by items pl aced upon or against them, pay ing particular attention to cords at
plugs, convenience rece pt acles and the point where they exit from the appliance.
13. Prot ective Attachment Plug - The appliance is equipped with an at tachment plug having overload
protection. This is a safety feature. See Instruction Manual for replacement or resetting of
protective device. If replac em ent of the plug is required, be sure the service technician has used a
replacement plug speci fied by the manufacturer that has the same overload prot ect ion as the
