Die PROXXON Super-Stichsäge SS 230/E ist ein
ideales Gerät für gerade Schnitte und vor allem für
Kurvenschnitte in Holz (bis 12 mm), Platinen
(bis 5 mm), NE-Metallen (bis 3mm).

1. Klemmschraube mit Hilfe des beiliegenden
Innensechskantschlüssels 1 (Fig. 2) lösen.

2. Sägeblatt (2) in den Schlitz der Sägeblattaufnahme
einführen und Klemmschraube wieder festziehen.

Achtung!

Das Sägeblatt muß in der Nut der Stützrolle sitzen.

Gehrungswinkel einstellen

Vor dieser Arbeit Netzstecker ziehen.

1. Klemmschraube mit Hilfe des
Innensechskantschlüssels 1 (Fig. 3) lösen.

2. Sägetisch (2) auf den gewünschten Gehrungswinkel
einstellen und Klemmschraube wieder festziehen.

Parallelanschlag einstellen

Verletzungsgefahr!
Vor dem Werkzeugwechsel Netzstecker ziehen.

1. Klemmschraube 1 (Fig.4) mit Hilfe des beiliegenden
Innensechskantschlüssels lösen.

2. Anschlag (2) auf das gewünschte Maß einstellen und
Klemmschrauben wieder festziehen.

Hinweis:

Der Anschlag kann auch für Kurvenschnitte verwendet
werden. Hierfür einen Nagel im Kreismittelpunkt
befestigen und als Achse für den Anschag verwenden.
Die Skala für Kurvenschnitte befindet sich auf der
Rückseite des Anschlages.

Arbeiten mit der Stichsäge

Achtung!

Nur scharfe und einwandfreie Sägeblätter bringen
optimale Schnittleistung und überlasten Ihr Gerät nicht.

1. Gerät am Schalter 2 (Fig. 5) einschalten und die der
Arbeit entsprechenden Drehzahl am Knopf (1)
einstellen.

weiche Wekstoffe = hohe Hubzahl,

grobe Zahnung

harte Werkstoffe = niedrige Hubzahl,

feine Zahnung

Hinweis:

Beim Sägen darauf achten, daß der Sägetisch sicher
auf dem Werkstück aufliegt.

Die Stichsäge läßt sich jetzt leicht mit der Hand führen.
Dabei ist im Interesse sauberer Sägeschnitte und opti-

maler Schnittleistung auf materialangepaßtem Vor­schub zu achten (z. B. langsamer Vorschub beim
Sägen in Metallen).

Beim Sägen in Metallen sollte etwas Öl auf die
Schnittlinie aufgetragen werden.

Dünne Bleche sollten auf eine genügend feste Unter­lage (Sperrholzplatte) aufgespannt werden.

So wird ein Mitfedern des Bleches weitgehend ver­mieden.

Bei der Anfertigung von Ausschnitten ist ein Loch zu
bohren, das als Ansatzpunkt für die Säge genutzt
werden kann.

Vor dem Werkzeugwechsel Netzstecker ziehen.

Hinweis:

Jedes Gerät wird beim Arbeiten mit Holz durch Staub
verunreinigt. Pflege ist daher unerläßlich. Halten Sie die
Öffnungen, die für die Kühlung des Motors notwendig
sind, immer frei von Staub und Schmutz.

1. Gerät mit einem Pinsel oder einem weichen Lappen
von allem Sägestaub gründlich reinigen. Auf freie
Öffnungen aller Lüftungsschlitze achten.

2. Den Kolben und die Stützrolle regelmäßig, nach
ca. 30 Minuten Laufzeit mit einigen Tropfen Motoröl
(Fig. 6) versehen.

Description of the machine

The PROXXON Super SS 230/E Jig Saw is the ideal
device for straight cuts and, above all, curved cuts in
wood (up to 12 mm), sheet metal (up to 5 mm) and
non-ferrous metals (up to 3 mm).

Clamping and changing saw blades

Disconnect the mains plug before changing tools.

1. Loosen clamp screw using the Allen key 1 provided
(Fig. 2).

2. Insert saw blade (2) into slot in the saw blade mount
and re-tighten clamp screw.

Important

The saw blade must be located in the groove of the
support roller.

Setting the mitre angle

Danger!

Injury hazard
Disconnect the mains plug before proceeding.

1. Loosen clamp screw using the Allen key 1 (Fig. 3).

2. Adjust the saw plate (2) to the desired mitre angle
and re-tighten the clamp screw.

Setting the parallel stop

Danger!

Injury hazard
Disconnect the mains plug before changing tools.

1. Loosen clamp screw 1 (Fig. 4) using the Allen key
provided

2. Adjust the stop (2) to the desired dimension and
re-tighten the clamp screw.

Note:

The stop can also be used for curved cuts. For this
purpose, position a nail at the centre point of the curve
and use as axis for the stop. The scale for curved cuts
is on the back of the stop.

Working with the jig saw

Important

Only sharp saw blades in good condition will result in
optimal cutting performance and prevent overloading
of the tool.

1. Switch on the device at switch 2 (Fig. 5) and set the
appropriate speed for the work at knob (1).

Soft materials = high stroke rate,

coarse toothing

Hard materials = low stroke rate,

fine toothing

Note:

When sawing, ensure that the saw plate makes firm
contact with the work piece.

The jig saw can then be easily guided by hand.
For the purpose of clean saw cuts and optimal cutting
performance, the feed rate must be adapted to the
type of material (e.g. slower feed rate when sawing
metals).

When sawing metals, a small amount of oil should be
applied to the cutting line.

Thin sheet metal should be clamped to a sufficiently
stable base material (plywood sheet).

Thus, springing of the sheet metal can be largely
prevented.

For the production of apertures, a hole must be drilled,
which can be used as starting point for the saw.

Maintenance

Disconnect the mains plug before changing tools.

Note:

All devices are contaminated with dust when working
with wood. Maintenance is therefore essential. Always
keep the apertures for the motor cooling free of dust
and dirt.

1. Thoroughly clean the device of all sawdust using a
brush or soft cloth. Ensure all ventilation apertures
are clear.

2. Regularly lubricate reciprocating plunger and
support roller with several drops of engine oil, after
approx. 30 min. running time (Fig. 6).

Descriptif de l'appareil

La scie sauteuse PROXXON SS 230/E est l'appareil
idéal pour exécuter non seulement des coupes droites,
mais surtout pour des coupes arrondies dans le bois
(jusqu'à 12 mm), le platine (jusqu'à 5 mm) ou les
métaux non-ferreux (jusqu'à 3 mm).

Mise en place de la lame, remplacement

Débranchez l'appareil avant de changer l'outil.

1. Desserrez la vis de serrage à l'aide de la clé à six
pans intérieurs jointe 1 (fig. 2).

2. Introduisez la lame (2) dans la fente du logement de
lame et serrez à nouveau la vis de serrage.

Attention !

La lame doit être engagée dans la rainure du galet
d'appui.

Réglage de l'angle d'inclinaison

Débranchez la fiche d'alimentation sur secteur avant

effectuer ce travail.

1. Desserrez la vis de serrage à l'aide de la clé à six
pans intérieurs 1 (fig. 3).

2. Réglez l'établi (2) à l'angle d'inclinaison désiré et
resserrez à fond la vis de serrage.

Réglage de la butée de parallélisme

Débranchez l'appareil avant de changer l'outil.

1. Desserrez la vis de serrage 1 (fig. 4) à l'aide de la clé
à six pans intérieurs jointe.

2. Réglez la butée (2) à la cote désirée et resserrez à
fond les vis de serrage.

Remarque :

La butée peut également être utilisée pour des coupes
arrondies. Pour cela, fixez un clou au centre du cercle
que vous utiliserez comme axe de butée. La règle pour
les coupes arrondies se trouve au dos de la butée.
