WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and
should not be used for any other purpose or inanyother application, such as for nonͲdomestic use or in a commercial environment. This appliance can be usedbychildrenagedfrom8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to
the supply mains.
The plug must be removed from the socketͲoutlet before the
water reservoir is filled with water. The filling aperture must not be opened during use.
The iron must only be used with the stand provided.
The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on
whichthestandisplacedisstable.
The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are
visible signs of damage or if it is leaking. Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
Regarding the detail information of filling and cleaning, refer to
the sections “Operation, Cleaning and maintenance”.
The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.

Only open the steam tank safety cap whenthe appliance has beendisconnected from the mains supply and has cooledcompletely as there may still be steam in thetank. Never open the safetycap when the product isin use as there isa risk of scaldingfrom high pressure steam. x When refilling the pressuretank only use distilled/ clean water. Do not fill the water tank with vinegar, fabric softener, descaler,additives, perfumes or otherchemical agents.

NOTE:
It is normal that strange odour will come out of the iron when operating the iron for the first time. This will cease after a short while.
Some particles may come ou normal. The particles are harmless and will stop coming out of the iron after ashort while.
When operating the steamgenerator,itmay produce a pumping sound. This isnormal. The sound tells youthat water is being pumped intothe steam generator.
During the heatingprocess of the soleplate, there will bea little steam coming out from the soleplate automatically and this phenomenon will continue forabout 3 seconds. This is normal.
Ironing Temperature Setting Guide
READ THE GARMENT LABELS AND FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURER’S IRONING INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE OFTEN SHOWNBY SYMBOLS SIMILAR TO THE ONES BELOW:

x The iron heats upmore quickly than itcools down. Therefore, start ironing articles that needto be
ironed at the lowesttemperature, such as those madeof synthetic fibres.

Ifthe fabric consists ofvarious kinds offibres, always select thetemperature required by themost
delicate fibres, i.e. the lowesttemperature.
x
Silk and other fabricsthat are likely tobecome shiny should be ironedon the inner side. x Velvet and other textures that rapidly become shiny should be ironed in one direction with light
pressure applied. Always keepthe iron moving atany moment.
x If you do notknow what kind offabric the article ismade of, iron apiece of the material whichis
not visible when youwear it to find out the appropriate temperature for your articles.
x
Pure woollen fabrics (100% wool) should beironed with the steam ironing. It is recommended to
set the temperature dial to the maximum position and use a drypressing cloth
x
Never iron over zip,rivet in the cloth. This will damage thesoleplate. Iron around anysuch
object.
x
When steam ironing woollenfabrics,shiny patches may occur.You may prevent this byturning
the article inside out and ironing the reverse side.
Steam Ironing
Before ironing, check that the garment to be ironed is suitable for steam ironing.
Always make sure the appliance is unplugged before filling the watertank.
1. Place the appliance on astable level surface.
2. Press the tab under the water tank handle to remove the water tank out of the base unit.

3. Lift the filling cap and fill with water up to the MAX fill line. Replace the filling cap.
x It is recommended to use purified water.
4. Attach the water tankback to the base unit until aclick is heard.
5. Make sure that theiron is placed properly onthe thermal insulation pad.
6. Plug the appliance tothe mains socket andpress to turn on the appliance.
x
The indicator light will illumiante.
7. Turn the temperature dialto your desired setting. x The temperature indicator lighton the iron willilluminate.
8. When the temperature indicatorlight on the iron goes out, the settemperature has been reached
and the iron isready for use.
9. To obtain continuousflow of steam during ironing, wait forthe
steam indicator light to illuminate andthen press and hold the steam trigger todeliver steam through the soleplate.

ATTENTION! If there isno steam sprayed outof the soleplate after pressing downthe steam trigger to release steam for 1 minute,you shall check the waterin the water tank.If there is less waterleft in the water tank, you shallrefill the water tank.
x To refill the watertank, please turn off and disconnect the appliance fromthe mains socket.
Slide out the watertank and then refill with water up to theMAX fill line.
Dry Ironing
To iron without steam,first connect the applianceto the mains socket and then press to turn on the appliance. Selectthe desired temperature by turning the temperature dial.Wait until the temperature indicator light goes out, indicating thatthe desired temperature has beenreached. For dry ironing it is not necessary to press and hold the steam trigger.
