This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and

The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to

The plug must be removed from the socketͲoutlet before the
water reservoir is filled with water.
The filling aperture must not be opened during use.
The iron must only be used with the stand provided.
The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on
whichthestandisplacedisstable.

The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are
visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years of age when it is energized or cooling down.

Only open the steam tank safety cap whenthe appliance has beendisconnected from the mains

x When refilling the pressuretank only use distilled/ clean water. Do not fill the water tank with
vinegar, fabric softener, descaler,additives, perfumes or otherchemical agents.

NOTE:
It is normal that strange odour will come out of the iron when operating the iron for the first
time. This will cease after a short while.
Some particles may come ou
normal. The particles are harmless and will stop coming out of the iron after ashort while.
When operating the steamgenerator,itmay produce a pumping sound. This isnormal. The
sound tells youthat water is being pumped intothe steam generator.
During the heatingprocess of the soleplate, there will bea little steam coming out from the
soleplate automatically and this phenomenon will continue forabout 3 seconds. This is
normal.

x The iron heats upmore quickly than itcools down. Therefore, start ironing articles that needto be
ironed at the lowesttemperature, such as those madeof synthetic fibres.

Ifthe fabric consists ofvarious kinds offibres, always select thetemperature required by themost
delicate fibres, i.e. the lowesttemperature.
x
Silk and other fabricsthat are likely tobecome shiny should be ironedon the inner side.
x Velvet and other textures that rapidly become shiny should be ironed in one direction with light
pressure applied. Always keepthe iron moving atany moment.
x If you do notknow what kind offabric the article ismade of, iron apiece of the material whichis
not visible when youwear it to find out the appropriate temperature for your articles.
x
Pure woollen fabrics (100% wool) should beironed with the steam ironing. It is recommended to
set the temperature dial to the maximum position and use a drypressing cloth
x
Never iron over zip,rivet in the cloth. This will damage thesoleplate. Iron around anysuch
object.
x
When steam ironing woollenfabrics,shiny patches may occur.You may prevent this byturning
the article inside out and ironing the reverse side.
Steam Ironing
Before ironing, check that the garment to be ironed is suitable for steam ironing.
Always make sure the appliance is unplugged before filling the watertank.
1. Place the appliance on astable level surface.
2. Press the tab under the water tank handle to remove the water tank out
of the base unit.

3. Lift the filling cap and fill with water up to the MAX fill line. Replace the
filling cap.
x It is recommended to use purified water.
4. Attach the water tankback to the base unit until aclick is heard.
5. Make sure that theiron is placed properly onthe thermal insulation pad.
6. Plug the appliance tothe mains socket andpress to turn on the appliance.
x
The indicator light will illumiante.
7. Turn the temperature dialto your desired setting.
x The temperature indicator lighton the iron willilluminate.
8. When the temperature indicatorlight on the iron goes out, the settemperature has been reached
and the iron isready for use.
9. To obtain continuousflow of steam during ironing, wait forthe
steam indicator light to illuminate andthen press and hold
the steam trigger todeliver steam through the soleplate.

ATTENTION! If there isno steam sprayed outof the
soleplate after pressing downthe steam trigger to release
steam for 1 minute,you shall check the waterin the water tank.If there is less waterleft in the
water tank, you shallrefill the water tank.
x To refill the watertank, please turn off and disconnect the appliance fromthe mains socket.
Slide out the watertank and then refill with water up to theMAX fill line.
Dry Ironing
To iron without steam,first connect the applianceto the mains socket and then press to turn
on the appliance. Selectthe desired temperature by turning the temperature dial.Wait until the
temperature indicator light goes out, indicating thatthe desired temperature has beenreached.
For dry ironing it is not necessary to press and hold the steam trigger.

La fiche de prise de courant doit être retirée du socle de prise
de courant avant de remplir le réservoir d'eau.
L'orifice de remplissage ne doit pas être ouvert pendant le
fonctionnement.
Le fer ne doit être utilisé qu'avec le reposeͲfer fourni.
Le fer à repasser doit être utilisé et reposé sur une surface

Lorsque le fer est remis sur son reposeͲfer, s’assurer que la
surface qui supporte le reposeͲfer est stable.
Le fer à repasser ne doit pas être utilisé s'il a subi une chute, s'il
y a des signes visibles de dommages ou s'il fuit.
Le fer à repasser et son cordon d'alimentation doivent toujours
être hors de portée des enfants de moins de 8 ans quand il est
sous tension ou pendant le refroidissement.

est normal. Le bruit en question indique que de l'eau est en train d'être pompée vers la station.
Lorsque la semelle est en train de chauffer, une petite quantitédevapeurensor

Ne repassez en aucun cas les fermetures éclairs et les éventuels rivets des vêtements. Cela

x Après avoirrepassé à la vapeur desarticles en laine, vous remarquerez des taches brillantes. Pour
éviter cela, mettezces articles à l'envers et repassez l'intérieur.

Repassageàlavapeur
Avantdecommencer, assurezͲvous que le repassage à la vapeur convient pour le vêtement en
question.
Vérifieztoujoursquel'appareil est débranché avantde remplir le réservoir.
1. Placez l’appareil sur une surfaceplane et stable.
2. Décrochez le réservoir de la base de l'appareil en appuyant sur le bouton
situé sous la poignée du réservoir.
3. Ôtezle bouchon du trou de remplissage, puis remplissez le réservoir
avec de l'eau jusqu'au trait MAX. Puis remettezle bouchon en place.
x Nous vous recommandons d'utiliser de l'eau purifiée.
4. Remettez le réservoiren place dans labase de l'appareil (vous devezl'entendres'encliqueter).
5. Placez correctement le fer sur la surfaced'isolation thermique.
6. Branchezl'appareil sur une prisede courant, puis appuyez sur pour l'allumer.
x Le témoin lumineux s'allume.
7. Mettez le bouton du thermostat sur la température requise.

8. Lorsque le témoin de température du fers'éteint,la températurerégléeest atteinteet le fer est

9. Pour repasser avec un débit de vapeur continu, attendez que le

x ATTENTION! Si aucune vapeur nesort de la semelle alorsque
vous avezdéjà appuyé sur le boutonpendant une minute, vérifiez le niveaud'eau dans le
réservoir.Sile niveau d'eau est insuffisantdansle réservoir,rajoutezͲen.
x Pourremplir le réservoir, commencez paréteindreet débrancher l'appareil de la prise
électrique. Sortez le réservoir de l'appareil etremplissezͲle avec de l'eau jusqu'au trait MAX.

Houd het strijkijzer en het snoer ervan buiten het bereik van

Open de veiligheidsdop vanhet stoomreservoir alleen wanneerde netstekker van de netvoeding is
losgekoppeld en het apparaatvolledig is afgekoeld, omdat nog stoom in de tank aanwezig kan zijn.
Open de veiligheidsdop NOOITterwijl het apparaat ingebruik is, vanwege eenrisico van
brandwonden door stoom onder hoge druk.
x Gebruik voor het hervullen van het drukreservoir alleen gedestilleerd/schoon water zonder
toevoegingen, parfums of chemischestoffen.

OPMERKINGEN:
Het is normaal dat een vreemde geur uit het apparaat komt wanneer uhet voor het eerst
inschakelt. Dit duurtmaar even.
Er kunnen wa
gebruikt. Dit isnormaal. Deze stofdeeltjes zijn onschadelijk enverdwijnen snel uithet
apparaat.
Het is mogelijk dat u pompgeluiden hoort wanneer de stoomgenerator is ingeschakeld. Dit is
normaal. Dit geluid betekent dat water inde stoomgenerator wordtgepompt.
Tijdens het opwarmen van de zoolplaat komt ongeveer 3 seconden lang automatisch wat
stoom uit de zoolplaat. Dit is normaal.
De strijktemperatuur instellen

Het strijkijzer warmt sneller opdan het afkoelt. Daarom ishet raadzaam te beginnenmet
kledingstukken die een lagere strijktemperatuurvergen, zoals synthetische vezels.
x Als een stof uit verschillendesoorten vezels is samengesteld dientu altijd te kiezenvoor de
temperatuur die geschikt is voorde meest delicate vezels, m.a.w. de laagste temperatuur.
x
Zijde en andere stoffendie gemakkelijk gaan glanzen dienen aan de binnenzijde te worden
gestreken.
x
Fluweel en andere stoffen diesnel gaan glanzen dienen inéén richting en met een weinigdruk te
worden gestreken. Houd het strijkijzer nooit stil op de stof.
x Als u niet weetuit welke stof een kledingstukis gemaakt, strijkt ueerst een stukje van destof dat
tijdens het dragen niet zichtbaar is om degeschikte strijktemperatuur te bepalen.
x
Zuiver wollen stof (100%wol) moeten met stoom worden gestreken. Het is raadzaamhet
temperatuurwiel naar de maximumstandte schakelen en eendroge persdoek te gebruiken.

x Strijk nooit over ritsen of klinknagels instof. Dit kan dezoolplaat beschadigen. Strijk rondom
dergelijke zaken.
x
Bij het stoomstrijken van wollen stoffen is hetmogelijk dat glanzende vlekken ontstaan. U kuntdit
voorkomen door de binnenzijde van het kledingstuk te strijken.
Stoomstrijken
Controleer voordat u met strijken begint of het kledingstuk geschikt is voorstoomstrijken.
Haal altijd de stekkervan het apparaat uit hetstopcontact voordat u hetwaterreservoir gaat vullen.
1. Zet het apparaat neer opeen vlakke, stabiele ondergrond.

2. Druk op het klepje onderaan de handgreep van het waterreservoir om
het waterreservoir uit de voet te nemen.
3. Til de vuldop uit en vul met water tot op de MAXͲvullijn. Zet de vuldop
weer in.
x Het gebruik van gezuiverd water is raadzaam.
4. Bevestig het waterreservoir weerop de voet zodat ueen klikgeluid hoort.
5. Controleer of het strijkijzercorrect op het thermisch isolatiekussenis neergezet.
6. Sluit het apparaat aanop een stopcontact en druk op om het apparaat in te schakelen.
x
Het stroomlampje gaat branden.
7. Draai het temperatuurwiel naarde gewenste stand.
x
Het temperatuurͲcontrolelampje op hetstrijkijzer gaat branden.
8. De ingestelde temperatuur isbereikt wanneer hettemperatuurͲcontrolelampje op het strijkijzer
dooft. Het strijkijzer isdan klaar voor gebruik.
9. Wacht tot het stoomlampje brandt en houdt dan de
stoomtrekker ingedrukt om stoom doorheen de zoolplaat te
stuwen
voor een ononderbroken stoomstroom.
x LET OP! Wanneer na1 minuut lang indrukkenvan de
stoomtrekker nog steeds geenstoom uit de zoolplaat komt,
dient u het waterpeil inhet waterreservoir te controleren. Vul het waterreservoir zo nodigbij.
x Schakel voordat u hetwaterreservoir vult het apparaat uiten haal de stekker uithet
stopcontact. Schuif het waterreservoiruit het apparaat envul water bij tot op de MAXͲvullijn.
Droogstrijken
Om zonder stoom te strijken sluit u hetapparaat eerst aan ophet stopcontact en druktu op
om het strijkijzer inte schakelen. Selecteer degewenste temperatuur door het temperatuurwiel te
draaien. Wacht tot hettemperatuurͲcontrolelampje dooft, wat aangeeft dat de gewenste
temperatuur is bereikt.
Bij droogstrijken is hetniet nodig de stoomtrekkeringedrukt te houden.
