PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
WARNINGS
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:  sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments;  farm houses;  by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;  bed and breakfast type environments.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
Regarding the speed setting, refer to the section “Operation” on pages EN-4 of the manual.
Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact with food, refer to the section “Cleaning and Maintenance” on page EN-4&5 of the manual.
Switch o the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not use outdoors.
Never use this appliance to mix or stir anything other than foods.
Avoid contacting moving parts.
Do not operate the hand mixer with wet hands.
Turn o and unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from the beaters during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or damaged to the mixer.
Remove beaters from the hand mixer before washing them.
Do not continuously operate the hand mixer for more than 5 minutes.
Do not use the appliance to mix too sti or too sticky ingredients.
The use of attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause re, electric shock or injury.
Do not let cord hang over edge of the table or counter, or touch any hot surface.

OPERATION
Before using your hand mixer for the rst time, wash the beaters in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the outer surface of the body with a damp cloth.
1. Attach two beaters by inserting them into the holes of the appliance.
2. Set the speed switch to the 0 position.
3. Plug in the mixer.
4. Set the speed switch to adjust the desired speed – 0: stop 1~5: slow to very fast.
5. Thrust the beaters into the food to be mixed.

SPEED DESCRIPTION 1 – Whip For cooked icings and whipping cream 2, 3 – Cream For creaming butter and sugar, beating uncooked candy,
desserts 4 – Blend For mixing salad dressings 5 – Fold or Mix For beating eggs
6. Gently move the appliance up and down while mixing.
7. When you have nished mixing, switch o and unplug the appliance from the mains socket.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Warning: Always turn o and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
To detach beaters, ensure the speed switch is set to the “0” position. Press rmly the eject button to release the beaters. Clean them in warm soapy water. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. NOTE: Never immerse the appliance or its lead in water.
Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross contamination from dierent types of food, the use of warm clean water with a mild

detergent is advisable when dealing with surfaces that come into contact with food. Correct food hygiene practises should always be followed at all times to avoid possibility of food poisoning /cross contamination.
Dry the entire appliance with a dry cloth before replacing. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasives product for cleaning.

Contact your local authority to learn about disposal and recycling. The appliance should be taken to your local collection point for recycling. Some collection points accept appliance free of charge.

Toujours déconnecter l’appareil de l’alimentation si on le laisse sans surveillance et avant montage, démontage ou nettoyage.
En ce qui concerne les informations détaillées sur la manière de nettoyer les surfaces en contact avec les aliments, référez-vous à la section “NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN” en page FR-9.
