OPERATION
The food slicer can let you slice everything from paper-thin pepperoni to perfect servings of roast beef.
1. Place the food slicer on a flat stable surface.
2. Apply downward pressure onto the slicer, ensuring it is pressed firmly to the bench to activate the
suction feet.
3. Place the food to be sliced on the carriage with the safety food holder in place, ensuring that the
safety food holder holds the food firmly in place.
4. Select the desired slicing thickness by turning the thickness control knob (0mm to 13mm).
5. Plug the food slicer into the mains socket.
Check that the switch is turned off before plugging in the appliance.
6. Turn on the food slicer.
7. To slice, grasp the food guide firmly whilst holding the safety food holder and then smoothly slide
the carriage back and forth in an even and steady motion.
Important: Do not operate this appliance without the sliding food guide and safety food holder in
place.
To ensure even slicing, do not press the food against the blade too firmly.
Check desired thickness and adjust the thickness control knob accordingly.
8. After the slicing is finished, turn off and unplug the slicer from the mains socket.
Do not operate the appliance for more than 5 minutes without interruption. Allow it to
cool down before continuing operation.
Tips for best slicing results:
To slice meats wafer thin, freeze thoroughly for only 2 to 4 hours before slicing.
Meats should be boneless. Fruit should be free of seeds.
Foods with an uneven texture, like fish and thin steaks, are often difficult to slice. Freeze for 2
to 4 hours before slicing.
