The cineo35 2.5k is the first and only projector of its
kind to offer full 2.5k (2560 x 1600 pixels) resolution in
an extremely compact enclosure. It has been designed
specifically for post production applications – where
colour accuracy and resolution are two of the most
important requirements.

The cineo35 2.5k provides unprecedented colour
accuracy and clarity in the form of a small projector. It
fits in small and medium sized suites and collaboration
rooms, and provides unaltered imaging for lifelike
projection on screens up to 4 metres wide, even in
grade 1 environments. It comes in two versions, either
with traditional lamps, or with LED illumination.
Small projector – big performance
As with all projectiondesign projectors, the cineo35
2.5k delivers performance that is normally associated
with much larger projectors. It easily throws up
images in most desired applications, but without the
bulk of an exhibition projector. Its colour rendition
and accuracy of calibration, combined with low
noise, makes it perfect for use in small and intense
environments, where distraction levels must be kept at
a minimum.
DLP® technology
projectiondesign is a lead customer with Texas
Instruments® on using DLP technology for professional
applications. A DLP based projector for post production
provides the same technological footprint and viewing
experience as the DLP Cinema™ environment, making
sure what you see in post is what you see in exhibition.
Most importantly – DLP technology provides unmatched
reliability, and does not degrade over time.
High resolution lenses
All projection lenses for the cineo35 2.5k are custom
designed. Using aspherical elements and enhanced
Low Dispersion glass provide sustained high contrast,
accurate colour rendition and lack of aberrations, and
above all – excellent sharpness – for unsurpassed image
quality.

Viewing 3D stereo content seems straight forward
– but isn’t necessary so. The cineo35 3D accepts
virtually any standard 3D format and input, and displays
it with colour accuracy and clarity worthy of the
cinematographer’s and directors’ intentions.

The cineo35 3D displays 3D stereo, as well as
standard 2D content from virtually any source
and format. It has been designed to complement
desktop monitors as the main display in preview
suites, collaboration, and VFX rooms, in for
the creator to monitor and QC content as it is
prepared for the public.

Small and unobtrusive
The cineo35 3D shares its chassis with the cineo35 2.5k,
making it the smallest and most compact Full HD 3D
projector available in its class. No other projector can be
compared in size/performance. Its only alternative is a Digital
Cinema projector, which is hard to fit into small and medium
sized suites and rooms, nor is suitable from a noise, heat
and distraction level.
Technologies
The cineo35 uses DLP® technology. DLP technology
is recognised as the most robust and reliable projection
technology available, promising years of service, image
quality, and viewing performance. The cineo35 3D
shares its I/O with the 2.5k, and uses the same high
performance projection lenses.
