This appliance is intended for household use only.

The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance. NOTES:
• Blade is sharp. Handle
carefully.
• Do not attempt to defeat
the cover interlock mechanism.
• Cover can become etched
or cloudy as a result of grinding. This is normal.
Tips for Best Results
• For best flavor, store coffee beans in a dark, airtight
container.
• Grind beans immediately before brewing.
• Coffee flavor and strength are personal preferences.
Vary the type of coffee beans, amount of coffee, and fineness of grind to find the flavor you prefer.
• Use approximately 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of grounds for
each cup of coffee being made.
• Grinder should be cleaned between grinding coffee
beans and grinding flavored coffee beans.

How to Use
1. Before first use, clean the coffee grinder as stated on
the next page.
2. With coffee grinder unplugged, remove cover by lifting
straight up. Place up to 1 ⁄2 cup (45 g) of coffee beans
in the bowl.
3. Replace cover. Plug into outlet.
4. Press grind button. Grind 10 to 20 seconds, depending
on amount and desired grind—coarse for percolators and medium to fine for drip coffeemakers.
NOTE: The coffee grinder will only operate with cover in place and grind button pressed.
How to Clean
w WARNING
Unplug unit before cleaning. Do not immerse base, plug, or cord in water or other liquid.
1. Unplug before cleaning.
2. Carefully wipe bowl and blade with soft, damp cloth.
3. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth.
