Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing voordat u de mixer gaat gebruiken zorgvuldig door. Bewaar de gebruiks­aanwijzing zodat u hem later nog eens kunt raadplegen. Controleer of de netspanning in uw woning
overeenkomt met die van het apparaat. Deze mixer heeft de volgende knoppen en onderdelen:

PAS OP

Wanneer u de mixer voor het eerst gebruikt, ruikt de motor misschien wat vreemd. Dat is normaal. De
geur wordt veroorzaakt doordat de motorisolatie warm wordt en verdwijnt wanneer het apparaat een paar
keer is gebruikt.

VOORBEREIDINGEN

Was voordat u de mixer voor de eerste keer gebruikt de kloppers en deeghaken in een warm sopje. Spoel
ze hierna af en droog ze grondig.

DE KLOPPERS EN DE DEEGHAKEN MONTEREN

Zet de snelheidskeuzeschakelaar op "OFF" en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
De deeghaak met de ring past alleen in de grote opening en de deeghaak zonder de ring alleen in de kleine
opening. De symbolen aan de onderkant van de mixer geven aan welke deeghaak in welke opening hoort.
Monteer de deeghaken door de as in de opening te duwen en ze vervolgens zo nodig iets te draaien totdat
ze op hun plaats klikken. Verwissel de deeghaken niet. Elke deeghaak past namelijk slechts in één opening.
Monteer de kloppers door de as in de opening te duwen en ze vervolgens zo nodig iets te draaien totdat ze
op hun plaats klikken. De kloppers passen op beide openingen.

DE MIXER GEBRUIKEN

Zorg dat de snelheidskeuzeschakelaar op OFF staat voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt.

- Monteer de kloppers of de deeghaken.

- Steek de stekker in een stopcontact.

- Bepaal de snelheid met de snelheidsregelaar:
Lagere snelheden (posities 1-5): druk de snelheidsregelaar naar links.
Hogere snelheden (posities 6-10): druk de snelheidsregelaar naar rechts.

- Begin altijd op lage snelheid te mixen. De snelheid neemt toe naarmate u de snelheidsregelaar vanuit
de OFF-positie steeds verder naar MAX draait (in totaal 10 posities). De snelheid bereikt positie 10 als
u de turboknop ingedrukt houdt.

- Kies een snelheid die past bij de ingrediënten die u gebruikt.

- Voeg ingrediënten geleidelijk aan toe.

- Laat de mixer nooit langer dan 5 minuten aan een stuk draaien; laat de mixer na het
mixen altijd 10 minuten afkoelen.

- Probeer de mixer nooit te gebruiken met één deeghaak en één klopper. De mixer bescha­digt daardoor.

- Wanneer u de mixschaal wilt gaan legen, bijvoorbeeld met een spatel, stop de mixer dan.

- Zet de snelheidskeuzeschakelaar op "OFF" als u klaar bent met mixen en trek de stekker
uit het stopcontact.

- Pak de kloppers of de deeghaken beet en druk op de uitwerpknop om ze uit te werpen.

N.B.: Doe altijd voorzichtig met de kloppers en de deeghaken.

SCHOONMAKEN

DOMPEL DE MIXER NOOIT ONDER IN WATER OF EEN ANDERE VLOEISTOF.

1. Verwijder na het gebruik van de mixer de kloppers of de deeghaken en veeg de mixer schoon met een
vochtige doek. Droog hem vervolgens af met een schone doek.

2. Was de kloppers en de deeghaken af in een heet sopje. Spoel ze af en droog ze af. De kloppers en de
deeghaken zijn vaatwasserbestendig.

3. Probeer geen krassen te maken op de hulpstukken. Gebruik dus nooit de ruwe kant van een schuursponsje
en maak de kloppers en de deeghaken ook nooit schoon met een schuurmiddel. U kunt de kloppers en
de deeghaken ook maar beter niet lang in een sopje laten weken (een aantal uren of de hele nacht).
Hierdoor kan namelijk de metalen toplaag beschadigen.

PRINCESS-TIPS

- Gebruik deze mixer alleen voor huishoudelijk gebruik.

- Dompel de mixer nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof. Wanneer kinderen de mixer gebruiken
of zich in de buurt van de mixer bevinden wanneer de mixer wordt gebruikt, dient u ze extra goed in de
gaten te houden.

- Trek wanneer het apparaat niet wordt gebruikt, na gebruik, wanneer u de kloppers of de deeghaken wilt
verwijderen en wanneer u de mixer wilt gaan schoonmaken de stekker uit het stopcontact.

- Raak geen bewegende delen aan. Houdt uw handen, kleren en keukengerei enz. uit de buurt van een
draaiende mixer om ongelukken en schade aan de mixer te voorkomen.

- Bij beschadiging van het netsnoer of als de mixer op de grond is gevallen of op andere wijze is bescha­digd, raden we u aan het apparaat niet meer te gebruiken. Breng het voor reparatie naar de winkel terug
of naar een erkend servicecentrum.

- Gebruik van andere accessoires dan de origineel bijgeleverde accessoire kan brand, elektrische schok­ken en verwondingen veroorzaken.

- Gebruik deze mixer niet buitenshuis.

- Laat het netsnoer nooit over de rand van de tafel of het aanrecht hangen. Zorg ervoor dat het netsnoer
nooit met een heet oppervlak in contact komt, zoals een fornuis.

- Houd de mixer uit de buurt van hotplates, gasbranders en hete ovens.

- Gebruik de mixer alleen voor de bedoelde toepassing.

- Houd de mixer altijd in de gaten als hij draait.

- Verwijder de kloppers en de deeghaken uit de mixer voordat u ze gaat schoonmaken.

- Controleer voor gebruik of alle onderdelen goed bevestigd zijn.

- Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet met dit apparaat spelen.

- Het is niet zonder gevaar om dit apparaat te laten gebruiken door kinderen of volwassenen met een
geestelijke of lichamelijke handicap, of met te weinig ervaring of deskundigheid.

Read these instructions carefully before you use the mixer, and keep them in a safe place for future
reference. Check that the voltage of your domestic electricity supply conforms to the voltage indicated
on the appliance. This mixer has the following controls and components:

1. mixer

ATTENTION:

When you use the mixer for the first time, the motor may smell somewhat strange. This is normal. The
smell is caused by the motor's insulation warming up, and will disappear once the appliance has been
used a few times.

PREPARATIONS

Before using the mixer for the first time, wash the beaters and the dough hooks in warm water and detergent.
Rinse, and dry carefully afterwards.

FITTING THE BEATERS AND DOUGH HOOKS

Turn the speed selector to “OFF” and remove the plug from the electrical socket.
The dough hook with the washer only fits the big opening, and the dough hook without the washer only
fits the small opening. The symbols on the underside the mixer indicate which dough hook should be fit­ted into which opening.
Fit the dough hooks by pushing the shaft into the opening and then, if necessary, turning them slightly
until they click into place. Do not switch the dough hooks, as they each only fit one opening.
Fit the beaters by pushing the shaft into the opening and then, if necessary, turning them slightly until
they click into the place. Both beaters fit either opening.

USING THE MIXER

Make sure the speed selector is in the OFF position before you plug the appliance in.

- Attach the dough hooks or the beaters.

- Insert the plug into an electrical socket.

- Use the speed control to select the speed:
Lower speeds (settings 1 to 5): push the speed button to left.
Higher speeds (settings 6 to 10): push the speed button to right.

- Always start mixing at a lower speed. The speed will increase as you move the speed button from the
OFF position to MAX (10 settings in total). The speed will reach the 10 setting if you keep the turbo
button pressed.

- Select a speed that is suitable for the ingredients you are using.

- Add ingredients gradually.

- Never leave the mixer running for longer than 5 minutes at a time; always allow the mixer to cool off
for 10 minutes afterwards.

- Never use the mixer with a combination of one dough hook and one beater. This will damage the mixer.

- Stop the mixer when you want to start emptying the mixing bowl, for instance with a plastic spatula.

- After mixing, turn the speed button to "OFF" and remove the plug from the electrical socket.

- Hold the beaters or dough hooks and press the eject button to remove them from the mixer.

Attention: always handle the beaters and the dough hooks with care!

CLEANING

NEVER IMMERSE THE MIXER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID!

1. After use, remove the beaters or the dough hooks from the mixer and then wipe the mixer clean with a
damp cloth. Then dry it with a clean towel.

2. Wash the beaters and dough hooks in warm soapy water; rinse, and dry. The beaters and dough hooks
are dishwasher-proof.

3. Avoid scratching the utensils. You should therefore never use the scouring side of kitchen sponges or
clean the beaters or dough hooks with abrasive cleaning materials. Also, the beaters and dough hooks
should not be left to soak in water for a long period (a number of hours or overnight), as this can damage
the metal finish.

PRINCESS TIPS

- This mixer is only intended for domestic use.

- Never immerse the mixer in water or any other liquid. Close supervision is required
when children are using the mixer or are in the area when it is in use.

- Remove the plug from the electrical socket when the appliance is not in use, after use,
when removing or attaching the beaters or dough hooks, and when it is being cleaned.

- Avoid contact with any moving parts. Keep your hands, hair, clothing, kitchen utensils
etc, away from the mixer when it is running to avoid personal injury and damage to the
mixer.

- If the plug or the power cable is damaged, or if the mixer has been dropped or damaged in any other
way, we advise you not to continue using the appliance. Take it back to the shop or to a recognized
service centre for repair.

- Using accessories other than the original accessories supplied can cause fire, electrical shock and injury.

- Do not use this mixer outdoors.

- Do not let the power cable dangle over the edge of the table or the sink unit, and never allow the cable
to come into contact with hot surfaces such as the kitchen stove.

- Keep the mixer out of the vicinity of hotplates, gas burners and hot ovens.

- Only use the mixer for the purpose for which it is intended.

- Never leave the mixer running unsupervised.

- Remove the beaters and dough hooks from the mixer before you clean them.

- Before use, check that all parts have been properly attached.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- The use of this appliance by children or adults with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability,
or lack of experience and knowledge can be hazardous. Persons responsible for their safety should give
explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.

The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.

If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 3Amp (BS1362) fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of plug is
used, a 13Amp fuse must be fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the Distribution Board.

THIS IS A DOUBLE INSULATED APPLIANCE AND DOES NOT NEED AN EARTH CONNECTION

ATTENTION :

Lorsque vous utilisez le mixeur pour la première fois, il se peut que le moteur dégage une certaine odeur.
Ceci est normal. Cette odeur provient du matériau d'isolation du moteur qui chauffe ; elle disparaitra
lorsque l’appareil aura été utilisé plusieurs fois.

AVANT D’UTILISER LE MIXEUR

Avant la première utilisation, laver les fouets et les crochets pétrisseurs avec de l'eau chaude et du liquide
vaisselle. Puis les rincer et les sécher soigneusement.

MISE EN PLACE DES FOUETS ET DES CROCHETS PÉTRISSEURS

Mettre le sélecteur de vitesse sur la position OFF et débrancher la prise de courant du secteur.
Le crochet pétrisseur qui est muni d’une bague ne s'adapte que sur le grand orifice ; l’autre crochet pétris­seur ne s’adapte que sur le petit orifice. Les symboles indiqués sous le mixeur indiquent le fouet qui cor­respond à l’ouverture.
Fixer les crochets pétrisseurs en enfonçant l'axe dans l’orifice puis tourner légèrement si nécessaire jus­qu'à ce que le crochet s'enclique bien en place. Ne pas intervertir les crochets pétrisseurs ; chaque crochet
ne peut s’adapter que sur un seul orifice.
Fixer les fouets en enfonçant l'axe dans l’orifice puis tourner légèrement si nécessaire jusqu'à ce que le
fouet s'enclique bien en place. Les deux fouets peuvent s’adapter sur n’importe quel orifice.

UTILISATION DU MIXEUR

S’assurer que le sélecteur de vitesse est sur la position OFF avant de brancher l’appareil.

- Mettre en place les crochets pétrisseurs ou les fouets.

- Brancher la fiche dans une prise de courant du secteur.

- Régler la vitesse à l’aide du variateur de vitesse :
Vitesses lentes (réglages de 1 à 5) : pousser le bouton vers la gauche.
Vitesses rapides (réglages de 6 à 10) : pousser le bouton vers la droite.

- Toujours démarrer le mixeur à vitesse lente. La vitesse augmente à mesure que le bouton est déplacé de
la position OFF vers la position MAX (10 réglages au total). Lorsque le bouton Turbo est maintenu
enfoncé, la vitesse atteint automatiquement le niveau 10.

- Sélectionner la vitesse qui convient en fonction des ingrédients.

- Ajouter les ingrédients progressivement.

- Ne jamais faire fonctionner le mixeur plus de 5 minutes consécutives ; toujours laisser refroidir le
mixeur 10 minutes après l'usage.

- Ne jamais utiliser le mixeur avec un crochet pétrisseur et un fouet en même temps. Cela risquerait
d’endommager le mixeur.

- Arrêter le mixeur pour vider le bol mélangeur à l’aide d’une spatule en plastique ou d’un ustensile équivalent.

- Après l'usage, mettre le sélecteur de vitesse sur la position OFF et débrancher la prise de courant du secteur.

- Tenir les fouets ou les crochets pétrisseurs et appuyer sur la touche Ejection pour les détacher du mixeur.

Attention : toujours manipuler les fouets et les crochets pétrisseurs avec précaution !

ENTRETIEN

NE JAMAIS PLONGER LE MIXEUR DANS L’EAU NI DANS TOUT AUTRE LIQUIDE !

1. Après l’emploi, détacher les fouets ou les crochets pétrisseurs et essuyer le mixeur à l’aide d’un chiffon
humide. Puis le sécher avec un chiffon propre.

2. Laver les fouets et les crochets pétrisseurs à l’eau chaude savonneuse puis rincer et sécher. Les fouets
et les crochets pétrisseurs peuvent aller au lave-vaisselle.

3. Veiller à ne pas rayer les ustensiles. Donc ne jamais utiliser la face pour récurer d’une éponge ni
nettoyer les fouets et les crochets pétrisseurs avec des produits de nettoyage abrasifs. Ne pas non plus
laisser tremper les fouets et les crochets pétrisseurs dans l’eau pendant une période
prolongée (plusieurs heures ou toute la nuit) car cela risquerait d’endommager la surface
métallique.

CONSEILS PRINCESS

- Ce mixeur est destiné uniquement à un usage ménager.

- Ne jamais plonger le mixeur dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide. Exercer une surveillance
étroite lorsque le mixeur est utilisé par ou à proximité des enfants.

- Toujours débrancher l’appareil de la prise lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé pendant une période
prolongée, après l’emploi, pour mettre ou enlever les fouets ou les crochets pétrisseurs
et pour le nettoyage.

- Eviter tout contact avec les parties mobiles. Pour éviter de se blesser ou d’endommager le mixeur, veiller
à tenir éloignés mains, cheveux, vêtements ou ustensiles de cuisine lorsque le mixeur fonctionne.

- Si la fiche ou le cordon d’alimentation sont endommagés, ou si le mixeur est tombé ou est endommagé
d'une façon quelconque, il est conseillé de ne plus l’utiliser et de le ramener au magasin ou chez un
réparateur agréé pour le faire réparer.

- L’utilisation d’accessoires autres que ceux d’origine fournis avec l’appareil peut provoquer incendie,
décharge électrique et blessure.

- Ne pas utiliser ce mixeur en plein air.

- Ne pas laisser le cordon d’alimentation sur le rebord d’une table ou d’un évier ni être en contact avec
des surfaces chaudes telles que celle d’une cuisinière.

- Tenir le mixeur éloigné des plaques chauffantes, cuisinières à gaz et fours allumés.

- Utiliser uniquement le mixeur pour l’usage auquel il est destiné.

- Ne pas laisser le mixeur fonctionner sans surveillance.

- Détacher les fouets et crochets pétrisseurs du mixeur avant de le nettoyer.

- Toujours vérifier que toutes les pièces sont montées correctement avant d’utiliser le mixeur.

- Veiller à ce que les enfants ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

- L’utilisation de cet appareil par des enfants ou des adultes handicapés physiques, mentaux ou moteur,
ou des personnes disposant de connaissances ou d’expérience insuffisantes peut entraîner des accidents.

Diese Gebrauchsanweisung vollständig durchlesen und aufheben, um bei Bedarf später nochmals
nachschlagen zu können. Überprüfen, ob die Netzspannung im Haus der des Gerätes entspricht. Der
Mixer besteht aus folgenden Elementen:

ACHTUNG:

Wenn der Mixer zum ersten Mal eingeschaltet wird, kann der Motor einen unangenehmen Geruch
verbreiten. Das ist ganz normal. Der Geruch wird durch die Erwärmung der Motorisolation verursacht
und verschwindet, wenn das Gerät einige Male benutzt wurde.

VORBEREITUNGEN

Vor dem Erstgebrauch des Mixers die Knethaken und Quirle in warmem Wasser abwaschen.
Anschließend gründlich abspülen und abtrocknen.

KNETHAKEN UND QUIRLE MONTIEREN

Den Geschwindigkeitswahlschalter auf „OFF“ stellen und den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
Der Knethaken mit dem Ring passt ausschließlich in die große Öffnung, der Knethaken
ohne Ring ausschließlich in die kleine. Die Symbole an der Unterseite des Mixers geben
an, welcher Knethaken in welche Öffnung gehört.
Die Knethaken montieren, durch die Achse in die Öffnung zu drücken und etwas zu drehen
bis sie einklickt. Die Knethaken nicht verwechseln, jeder Knethaken passt nämlich nur in
seine jeweils eigene Öffnung.
Die Quirle montieren, durch die Achse in die Öffnung zu drücken und sie etwas zu drehen
bis sie einklickt. Die Quirle passen in beide Öffnungen.
