De Princess Silver Health Blender is ideaal om snel allerlei ingrediënten te kloppen, te mixen, te pureren
of te verkruimelen. Wij raden u aan om voor het eerste gebruik de mengbeker, het mes en het deksel af te
wassen. Let op de juiste netspanning. Deze staat onderop het apparaat aangegeven.

UITPAKKEN EN MONTEREN

Haal alle onderdelen voorzichtig uit de verpakking; de glazen kan is natuurlijk kwetsbaar. Schroef het
mes met de pakkingring onder op de kan.

BLENDER MET ELEKTRISCHE MOTORREGELING

Indien u de schakelaar naar beneden drukt, zet u de motor op ‘puls’. In die stand draait de motor zolang u
de hendel naar beneden gedrukt houdt. Deze pulspositie is bedoeld voor zeer kortdurende bewerkingen.
Door de hendel naar boven te bewegen, kunt u één van de vaste snelheidsposities kiezen. In iedere positie
kunt u met de schuifknop aan de onderzijde een hoge of lage snelheid kiezen.

BLENDERS MET ELEKTRONISCHE MOTORREGELING

Met de grote hendel regelt u de motorsnelheid continu. In de bovenste stand van de hendel staat de blender
uit. Met het knopje onder de hendel schakelt u de pulssnelheid in. De motor schakelt direct door naar de
hoogste snelheid (boostfunctie). De motor stopt zodra u het knopje loslaat.

Dankzij het beveiligingsmechanisme werkt de blender alleen als de kan op de voet staat. Als u de kan van
de voet afhaalt, stopt de blender. Dit beveiligingsmechanisme is echter niet bedoeld om de blender in en
uit te schakelen. U dient de blender altijd eerst met de hendel uit te schakelen voordat u de kan van de
voet haalt.

Vergeet niet dat de blender met seconden werkt, niet met minuten. Als u de blender te lang aan laat staan,
worden de ingrediënten tot moes geslagen. De blender werkt het beste als u slechts kleine hoeveelheden
etenswaren tegelijk verwerkt. Snijdt grotere stukken eventueel een paar keer door totdat het stukjes van
zo'n 2 à 3 cm zijn. Zet, om spatten te voorkomen, het deksel op de blender voordat u hem inschakelt. Het
dopje in het midden van het deksel kan tijdens het gebruik verwijderd worden. Door de opening die zo
ontstaat, kunt u ingrediënten toevoegen aan de mix. Het dopje dient tevens als maatbekertje en kan in
twee hoogtestanden in het deksel geplaatst worden. Als de motor stopt of het voedsel tegen de wand van
de kan gaat plakken, dient u de blender uit te schakelen. Wacht tot de motor helemaal stilstaat en duw met
een houten of plastic lepel of spatel de ingrediënten weer naar het midden van de kan. Als de motor tij­dens het gebruik hoorbaar langzamer gaat lopen, kunt u het beste even overschakelen naar een hogere
snelheid. Was de kan en het mes direct na gebruik af.

Nog enige tips:

- Bewaar geen etenswaren in de kan.

- IJsblokjes schilferen gaat goed, maar alleen in water. Doe dus niet alleen ijsblokjes in de blender maar
giet er wat water bij.

- Gebruik de blender niet leeg.

- De blender is niet geschikt voor het kloppen van eiwit, het verwerken van rauw vlees en
deeg, en het persen of snijden van vruchten en groenten.

REINIGEN

HAAL EERST DE STEKKER UIT HET STOPCONTACT. DOMPEL DE MOTORBASIS
[VOET MET DE MOTOR] NOOIT ONDER IN WATER OF EEN ANDERE VLOEISTOF.
Maak de blender na ieder gebruik schoon. Dit voorkomt dat voedselresten vastkoeken.
Gebruik geen schurende of agressieve middelen. De buitenzijde kan met een vochtige doek
afgenomen worden.

- Plaats nooit het mes zonder de kan op de motorbasis. Schroef het mes altijd stevig onder de kan en laat
geen onderdelen weg.

- Deze blender is alleen geschikt voor huishoudelijk gebruik.

- Zorg dat het snoer of een eventueel verlengsnoer zodanig weggelegd wordt dat niemand erover kan
struikelen.

- Bij beschadiging van de blender of het snoer moet u onmiddellijk ophouden het apparaat te gebruiken
en het naar de winkel terugbrengen ter reparatie. Een beschadigd snoer kan alleen door de servicedienst
vervangen worden.

- Gebruik deze blender niet buitenshuis.

- Houdt kinderen goed in de gaten indien ze bij de blender kunnen.

- Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet met dit apparaat spelen.

- Het is niet zonder gevaar om dit apparaat te laten gebruiken door kinderen of personen met een geeste­lijke of lichamelijke handicap. De voor de veiligheid van deze gebruikers verantwoordelijke persoon
dient ze duidelijke instructies te geven voor of ze te begeleiden bij het gebruik van dit apparaat.

Please read these instructions at your leisure and save them for future reference. The Princess Silver
Health Blender is ideal for beating, mixing, pureeing, or crumbling all sorts of ingredients. We advise you
to clean the blender, including the blades and lid, before first use. Make sure your mains supply provides
the correct voltage, as indicated on the bottom of the appliance.

UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY

Carefully remove all parts from the packaging; the glass jug is of course especially fragile. Screw the
blade and the packing ring onto the bottom of the jug.

Recommended speeds:
1/2 Beating
3/4 Pureeing
5/6 Crumbling
1-6 Mixing

BLENDER WITH ELECTRIC MOTOR CONTROL:

If you turn the switch downward, the motor is set at ‘pulse’. The motor will only work if
the handle is kept down. The pulse position is only for very brief usage. Turn the handle
upward to choose one of the regular speeds. In any position of the handle, a high or low
speed can be set using the slide button underneath the appliance.

BLENDERS WITH ELECTRONIC MOTOR CONTROL

The large handle continually controls the motor speed. In the upper setting, the blender is switched off.
The button under the handle switches on the pulse speed. The motor switches directly onto the highest
speed (boost function). If you let go of the button, the motor stops.

The blender will only operate if the jug is attached, because of the safety switch. If the jug is removed
from the base, the blender stops automatically. The safety switch is not intended for use as an on/off
switch. Always first turn the blender off using the handle before removing the jug from its base.

Keep in mind that a blender works in seconds, not in minutes. If the blender is on too long, the ingredients
will be beaten to a pulp. The blender works best when only small quantities of food are processed at a
time. Cut any larger pieces until no pieces are larger than 2 to 3 cm. Put the lid on the blender jug before
switching it on, to avoid splashing. You can remove the stopper in the middle of the lid while using the
blender in order to add some extra ingredient. It also serves as a measuring cup. This stopper can be
placed in two positions in the lid. If the motor stops, or if food sticks to the side of the jug, the blender
must be turned off. Wait until the motor has completely stopped, then use a wooden or plastic spoon or
spatula to push the ingredients from the sides. If the motor begins to go audibly slower during use, it is
best if you switch to a higher speed. After use, wash the jug and the blades immediately.

More tips:

- Do not store any food in the blender.

- Crushing ice blocks works well but it should only be done in water. Therefore do not put ice blocks in
the blender by themselves, but add water.

- Do not turn the blender on while it is empty.

- The blender is not suited for beating egg white, processing raw meat or dough, or juicing or cutting
fruits or vegetables.

CLEANING

ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING. NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR
BASE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.
Clean the blender after use; this prevents any remaining food from becoming caked on the blender. Do
not use abrasive or strong detergents. The outside of the base can be wiped down with a damp cloth.

PRINCESS TIPS

- Never attach the blade to the motor base without the jug. Always screw the blade firmly underneath the
jug and do not omit any parts.

- This blender is only suitable for household use.

- Make sure the cord or extension cord is carefully positioned to avoid people tripping over it.

- If the blender or the cord become damaged, we advise you not to use the appliance, but to return it to
the store for repair. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service

agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

- Do not use this blender outdoors.

- Maintain good supervision over the blender when children may be around.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, mental or motorial disability can give
cause to hazards. Persons responsible for their safety should give explicit instructions or supervise the
use of the appliance.

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW

bol mélangeur ainsi que la lame et le couvercle. Vérifier le voltage indiqué sous l’appareil.

DEBALLAGE ET MONTAGE

Retirez toutes les pièces avec précaution de l’emballage ; faites très attention en particulier au bol en
verre. Vissez la lame sur le bol avec l’anneau de joint dessous.

MIXEUR À REGLAGE ELECTRIQUE :

Si vous appuyez l’interrupteur vers le bas, vous mettez le moteur sur la position « Pulse ». Le moteur
marche dans cette position uniquement si vous maintenez la manette vers le bas. La posi­tion Pulse est prévue pour les préparations de très courte durée. Si vous poussez la manette
vers le haut, vous pouvez choisir l’une des vitesses fixes. Dans chaque position, vous pou­vez choisir une vitesse faible ou élevée avec le bouton coulissant au bas de l’appareil.

MIXEUR À REGLAGE ELECTRONIQUE :

La grande manette règle la vitesse du moteur en continu. Si elle est dans la position supéri­eure, le moteur est arrêté. Le bouton sous la manette permet de choisir la vitesse « Pulse ».
Le moteur passe directement à la vitesse la plus élevée (fonction « Boost »). Le moteur
s’arrête dès que vous n’appuyez plus sur le bouton.

Grâce au mécanisme de sécurité, le mixeur fonctionne uniquement si le bol est placé dessus. Si vous enlevez
le bol du mixeur, il s’arrête. Le mécanisme de sécurité ne doit toutefois pas être utilisé pour mettre en
marche ou arrêter le mixeur. Vous devez toujours mettre la manette en position d’arrêt avant d’enlever le bol.

N’oubliez pas qu’un mixeur est efficace en quelques secondes et non pas en quelques minutes. Si le
mixeur fonctionne trop longtemps, les ingrédients sont réduits en bouillie. Le mixeur fonctionne mieux
avec des petites quantités d’aliments à la fois. Couper plus petits les pièces de grande taille jusqu’à obtenir
des morceaux de 2 à 3 cm. Mettre le couvercle sur le mixeur avant de le mettre en route afin d’éviter les
éclaboussures. Vous pouvez enlever le bouchon au milieu du couvercle lorsque l’appareil fonctionne pour
ajouter des ingrédients. Ce bouchon sert également de doseur. Ce bouchon peut être placé à deux hauteurs
dans le couvercle. Si le moteur s'arrête ou si les aliments collent contre la paroi du bol, il faut éteindre
l'appareil. Attendre que le moteur soit totalement arrêté et pousser les ingrédients vers le centre du bol avec
une spatule ou une cuillère en bois ou en plastique. Si vous entendez que le moteur se met à fonctionner
nettement plus lentement, il vaut mieux passer à une vitesse supérieure. Laver le bol et la lame directement
après usage.

Quelques conseils :

- Ne conservez pas d’aliments dans le bol.

- Vous pouvez piler des glaçons mais uniquement dans l’eau. Ajoutez donc toujours une petite quantité
d'eau dans le bol après y avoir mis les glaçons.

- Ne faites pas tourner le mixeur à vide.

- Le mixeur n’est pas conçu pour battre des blancs d’oeufs en neige, hacher de la viande crue ou malaxer
de la pâte, ni pour presser ou couper des fruits et des légumes.

NETTOYAGE

DEBRANCHER D'ABORD L'APPAREIL DE LA PRISE DE COURANT. NE PLONGEZ JAMAIS LE
BLOC-MOTEUR DANS L’EAU NI DANS TOUT AUTRE LIQUIDE.
Nettoyer le mélangeur après chaque usage pour éviter que des aliments n’y restent collés. Ne pas utiliser
de produits abrasifs ou agressifs. Nettoyer l’extérieur du boîtier avec un chiffon humide.

CONSEILS DE PRINCESS

- Ne jamais placer la lame sans le bol sur le support-moteur. Visser la lame toujours solidement sous le
bol et n’oublier aucune pièce.

- N’utiliser ce mixeur que pour un usage domestique.

- S'assurer que le cordon ou une rallonge éventuelle sont placés de sorte à ne pas pouvoir se prendre les
pieds dedans.

- Si le mixeur ou le cordon sont endommagés, ne plus utiliser l’appareil, mais le rapporter au magasin
pour le faire réparer. Le remplacement du cordon ne peut être effectué que par le service après-vente.

- Ne pas utiliser ce mixeur à l’extérieur.

- Exercer une surveillance quand l’appareil est utilisé en présence d’enfants.

- Veiller à ce que les enfants ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

- Il est dangereux de mettre cet appareil entre les mains d’enfants ou de personnes handicapées psychiquement
ou physiquement. Le responsable de leur sécurité doit leur donner des instructions précises ou les aider
à utiliser l’appareil.

oder zu zerkleinern. Es empfiehlt sich, den Mixbecher mit Messer und Deckel vor dem ersten Gebrauch
abzuwaschen. Auf die richtige Netzspannung achten. Die Wattangaben stehen auf dem Gerät.

AUSPACKEN UND MONTIEREN

Alle Zubehörteile vorsichtig auspacken und dabei besonders auf den Mixbecher aus Glas achten. Das
Messer mit Dichtungsring unten auf den Mixbecher schrauben.

MIXER MIT ELEKTRISCHER MOTORREGELUNG:

Wenn der Schalter nach unten gedrückt wird, steht der Motor auf „Puls“. Der Motor dreht sich nur, so
lange der Hebel nach unten gehalten wird. Der Pulsstand eignet sich für sehr kurze Anwendungen. Wird
der Hebel nach oben gedrückt, kann eine der festen Geschwindigkeitsstufen gewählt werden. Mit dem
Schieber auf der Unterseite kann in jedem Stand eine hohe oder niedrige Geschwindigkeitsstufe gewählt
werden.

MIXER MIT ELEKTRONISCHER MOTORREGELUNG:

Der große Hebel regelt die Motorgeschwindigkeit. Im obersten Hebelstand ist der Mixer aus. Der Knopf
unter dem Hebel schaltet die Pulsgeschwindigkeit ein. Der Motor schaltet direkt in die höchste
Geschwindigkeit (Boost-Funktion). Der Motor setzt aus, sobald der Knopf losgelassen wird.

Dank des Sicherheitsmechanismus funktioniert der Mixer nur, wenn der Mixbecher eingesetzt wurde.
Wenn der Mixbecher abgenommen wird, hält der Mixer also automatisch an. Der
Sicherheitsmechanismus ist jedoch nicht zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Mixers gedacht. Den Mixer daher
immer zuerst mit Hilfe des Schalters ausschalten, bevor der Mixbecher abgenommen wird.

Nicht vergessen, dass der Mixer in Sekunden arbeitet und nicht in Minuten. Wenn der Mixer zu lange
eingeschaltet ist, werden die Zutaten zu Mus geschlagen. Der Mixer funktioniert am besten, wenn nur
kleine Zutatenmengen auf einmal verarbeitet werden. Größere Stücke eventuell in kleinere Stücke von
ungefähr 2 à 3 cm schneiden. Den Deckel auf den Mixer setzen, bevor er eingeschaltet wird, um Spritzen
zu vermeiden. Die kleine Verschlusskappe in der Deckelmitte kann während des Gebrauchs entfernt
werden, um weitere Zutaten hinzuzufügen, sie dient gleichzeitig als Messbecher. Diese
Kappe kann in zwei Höhen in den Deckel eingesetzt werden. Wenn der Motor aussetzt
oder die Zutaten am Rand des Mixbechers haften bleiben, muss der Mixer ausgeschaltet
werden. Warten bis der Motor vollkommen still steht und die Zutaten mit Hilfe eines Holz­oder Kunststofflöffels (Spatel) wieder in die Mitte des Bechers schieben. Wenn der Motor
während des Gebrauchs hörbar langsamer läuft, empfiehlt es sich, kurz auf eine höhere
Geschwindigkeit umzuschalten. Mixbecher und Messer sofort nach Gebrauch abwaschen.
