PRINCESS POTATO PEELER Artikel 1940

Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing op uw gemak even door en bewaar deze om later nog eens te kunnen
raadplegen. De PRINCESS POTATO PEELER is ideaal om snel aardappelen te schrappen, 1 kg in ca.
2 minuten! De machine is snel en eenvoudig uit elkaar te nemen voor gemakkelijk schoonmaken. Wij
raden u aan om voor het eerste gebruik alle onderdelen, behalve de motorbasis even in een heet sopje
schoon te maken. Daarna met schoon water goed afspoelen. Let op: de onderdelen zijn niet vaatwas­machine geschikt.

UITPAKKEN EN MONTEREN

Haal alle onderdelen voorzichtig uit de verpakking. Monteer de machine zoals op de tekening
aangegeven is. Let erop dat het reservoir goed op z'n plaats klikt; druk indien nodig even extra aan
op de plaats van de veiligheidsschakelaar.

GEBRUIKSTIPS

Doe ca. 400 mL koud water in het reservoir; het water dient tot de rand van de rasp te komen, maar
mag de rasp niet geheel bedekken. Gebruik alleen vaste aardappelen. Ronde aardappelen geven het
beste resultaat. Verdeel maximaal 1 kg aardappelen losjes over de rasp. Doe het deksel op het apparaat
en druk de klemmen aan weerszijden stevig vast.
Door het deksel erop te doen, wordt tevens de veiligheidsschakelaar ingedrukt. Zodra de aan/uit
schakelaar op aan gezet wordt, zal de motor gaan draaien. Na ca. 2 minuten even controleren of de
aardappels voldoende geschild zijn eerst het apparaat uitzetten! Indien het resultaat goed is, kan het
reservoir afgenomen worden en kan men de aardappels onder stromend water afspoelen. Indien het
resultaat niet naar tevredenheid is, de machine nogmaals ca. 1 minuut inschakelen. Het resultaat is
afhankelijk van o.a. de vorm van de aardappelen, de afmetingen en de dikte van de schil.

Haal na gebruik de stekker uit het stopcontact en wees voorzichtig met de scherpe rasp.

REINIGEN: HAAL EERST DE STEKKER UIT HET STOPKONTAKT. DOMPEL DE MOTORBASIS
NOOIT ONDER IN WATER OF EEN ANDERE VLOEISTOF.
Maak de machine na ieder gebruik schoon, dit voorkomt dat voedselresten gaan vastkoeken. De losse
onderdelen kunnen in een mild sopje gereinigd worden. Gebruik geen schurende of agressieve middelen.
De buitenzijde van de motorbasis kan met een vochtige doek afgenomen worden.

PRINCESS TIPS

- Plaats nooit het mes zonder het reservoir op de motorbasis. Zorg dat tijdens gebruik de klemmen van
het deksel goed op hun plaats zitten. Laat geen onderdelen weg.

- Gebruik deze machine alleen voor huishoudelijk gebruik.

- Zorg dat het snoer of een eventueel verlengsnoer zodanig weggelegd wordt, dat niemand erover kan
struikelen.

- Bij beschadiging van de machine of het snoer raden wij U aan het apparaat niet meer te gebruiken,
maar naar de winkel terug te brengen voor reparatie. Een beschadigd snoer kan alleen door de
service-dienst vervangen worden.

- Gebruik deze machine niet buitenshuis.

- Houdt goed toezicht op de machine wanneer kinderen erbij kunnen.

- Gebruik de machine niet langer dan 4 minuten continu en laat de machine daarna minimaal 4 minuten
afkoelen.

Dit apparaat is dubbel geisoleerd en ontworpen en gebouwd conform de europese
veligheidsnormen EN 60335. Het toestel is TÜV/GS gekeurd en heeft de CE-markering
Geschikt voor een netspanning van 220-230 Volt, 50 Hz. Vermogen 70 Watt.

Read the instructions carefully and save them for further reference. THE PRINCESS POTATO PEELER
is ideal for quickly peeling potatoes and can peel 1 kg in just 2 minutes! The machine can be taken apart
quickly for easy cleaning. We recommend that you clean all parts of the appliance except for the motor
base before use. Rinse well after with clean water. Note: the parts are not dishwasher proof.

UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY

Remove all parts carefully from the package. Assemble the appliance as shown in the drawing. Make
sure the container clicks into place properly and if necessary give an extra push over the safety switch.

USERTIPS

Fill the container with about 400 ml of cold water up to the edge of the grater, but so that the grater is
not entirely immersed. Use only firm potatoes. Round potatoes give the best results. Distribute maximum
1 kg of potatoes loosely above the grater. Place the lid on the container and tighten the clamps on both
sides down properly. Placing the lid on also presses the safety switch down. The appliance will only
operate once the on/off switch is turned on. Check after 2 minutes to see if the potatoes have been
adequately peeled - first turn the appliance off! If the result is satisfactory, remove the container and rinse
the potatoes under cold running water. Turn the appliance on for about another minute if the results are
not satisfactory. Results depend on the shape of the potatoes, size, the thickness of the skin, etc.

Unplug the peeler after use and be careful with the sharp grater.

CLEANING: FIRST UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE. NEVER SUBMERGE THE MOTOR BASE
UNDER WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
Clean the appliance after every use in order to prevent food residue from caking onto it.
The loose parts can be cleaned in mildly soapy water. Never use caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents. The exterior can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

PRINCESS TIPS

- Never place the cutter on the motor base without the container. Make sure that the lid clamps are pro­perly in place while using. Do not leave out any parts.

- For household use only.

- Make sure the mains lead, or an extension if used, is placed safely so no one can trip over it.

- In the case of damage to the appliance or the lead we recommend you discontinue using it and return it
to the store. A damaged mains lead can only be repaired by the repair service.

- Do not use outdoors.

- Keep an eye on the appliance when children are in the vicinity.

- Do not use the appliance for longer than 4 minutes at a time, and let it cool off for at least four minutes
before using it again.

This appliance is double insulated and designed in compliance with the EN 60335
European safety standards. It has been TÜV/GS-approved and has a CE mark. Suitable for
use with a mains voltage of 220-230 volts, 50 Hz. Power consumption is 70 watts.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLEU - NEUTRAL
BROWN - LIVE

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the
colour markings indentifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured BLEU must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured BLACK.

The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured RED.

NEITHER CORE should be connected to the earth terminal of a three pin plug marked
with the letter E or coloured GREEN and YELLOW.

With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 3 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type
of plug is used a 5 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board.
