QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE – CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
System 2000
WARNING
To avoid eye and skin damage, always use protective glasses and gloves. If contact occurs rinse with plenty of water.
If eyes or skin becomes irritated, contact a physician. Always read the material safety data sheet of the disinfectant.
To prevent cross-contamination, always follow the disinfection instructions in the Instructions For Use.
To avoid eye or skin irritation, never disinfect in the presence of a patient.
Caregiver obligations
Between patients
Clean and disinfect System 2000 bath before every use.
Rhapsody, Primo, Harmonie
Clean and disinfect with disinfection unit (Still Bath and Hydrosound System)
NOTE
For disinfection of the Hydromassage system start on page 2.
Remove visual residue
1. Raise the bathtub to convenient working position.
2. Make sure all functions are turned off.
3. Open the drain.
4. Detach and place all accessories at the bottom of the bathtub.
5. Shower and rinse the bathtub and the accessories with water to remove
visible residue. Turn the accessories and rinse again.
Clean
6. Put on protective gloves and eye wear.
7. Lift out the disinfection spray handle.
Disinfect
20. Spray disinfectant in the drain.
21. Close the drain.
22. Spray disinfectant on all internal bathtub surfaces and on all sides of the
accessories.
23. Allow appropriate contact time according to the instructions of the
disinfectant.
24. Push the disinfection button to end the disinfection cycle.
Automatic Disinfection only:
If the preset disinfection time has not elapsed other functions are disabled
for at least 2 minutes.
25. Put back the disinfection spray handle.
26. Open the drain.
27. Push the button for shower.
8. Press the disinfection button.
9. Spray disinfectant into the bathtub until the ow meter shows correct mixing
value according to the Instructions For Use. Adjust if needed.
10. Spray disinfectant in the drain. Scrub the drain with a brush.
11. Close the drain.
12. Spray disinfectant on all internal bathtub surfaces and on all sides of the
accessories.
13. Spray into the surface overow outlet.
14. Press the disinfection button to turn it off.
15. Scrub the surfaces of the bathtub, loose parts and accessories thoroughly
with a soft bristle brush.
16. Open the drain.
17. Rinse all parts clean with plenty of water with a temperature of
25 °C (77 °F).
18. Soak a cloth in disinfectant and wipe all other contact areas:
the outside of the bathtub, metal sensory knobs and hand control.
28. Rinse all parts clean with water having a temperature of 25 °C (77 °F).
29. Soak a cloth in disinfectant and wipe all other contact areas:
the outside of the bathtub, metal sensory knobs and hand control.
30. Allow appropriate contact time according to the instructions of the
disinfectant.
31. Wet a new cloth with water and remove the disinfectant.
Occasionally rinse the cloth in running water.
32. Leave to air dry.

Clean and disinfect with a spray bottle
Remove visual residue
1. Raise the bathtub to convenient working position.
2. Make sure all functions are turned off.
3. Open the drain.
4. Detach and place all accessories at the bottom of the bathtub.
5. Shower and rinse the bathtub and the accessories with water to remove
visible residue. Turn the accessories and rinse again.
Clean

accessories.
10. Spray into the surface overow outlet.

disinfectant.
25. Wet a new cloth with water and remove the disinfectant.

13. Rinse all parts with plenty of water with a temperature of 25 °C (77 °F).
14. Soak a cloth in disinfectant and wipe all other contact areas:
the outside of the bathtub, metal sensory knobs and hand control.
Clean and disinfect the Hydromassage System
With automatic disinfection
1. Raise the bathtub to convenient working position.
2. Close the drain.
3. Unscrew the screws and remove the suction inlet screen.
Clean the suction inlet screen separately.
4. Press the disinfection button to start the disinfection cycle.
Disinfectant comes out from the Hydromassage system nozzle.
The disinfection cycle ends with the Hydromassage system being rinsed
with water.
5. Spray disinfectant into the surface overow outlet.
6. Continue with the remaining disinfection instructions according to
Clean and disinfect with disinfection unit (Still bath and Hydrosound
System), on page 1.
7. Allow appropriate contact time according to the instructions of the
disinfectant.
26. Leave to air dry.
Without automatic disinfection
1. Raise the bathtub to convenient working position.
2. Open the drain.
3. Unscrew the screws and remove the suction inlet screen.
Clean the suction inlet screen separately.
4. Pull out the turnable Hydromassage system nozzle if a treatment hose is
going to be connected.
5. Insert the treatment hose, if any, in the Hydromassage system outlet.
6. Spray disinfectant into the suction inlet until disinfectant comes out of the
Hydromassage system nozzle/treatment hose.
7. Spray disinfectant into the surface overow outlet.
8. Allow appropriate contact time according to the instructions of the
disinfectant.
9. Press the disinfection button to turn it off.
8. Press the Shower button and rinse the surface overow outlet.
9. After completed disinfection, attach the suction inlet screen with the screws
and tighten them gently.

10. Press the shower button and connect the shower handle to the suction inlet.
11. Turn the Hydromassage system knob to its highest intensity.
12. Press the trigger and rinse until the water comes out clear from the
Hydromassage system nozzle/treatment hose.
13. Remove the treatment hose, if any.
14. Put back the nozzle into the Hydromassage system outlet.
15. Rinse the surface overow outlet with water.
16. Continue with the remaining disinfection instructions according to
Clean and disinfect with disinfection unit (Still bath and Hydrosound
System), on page 1.
17. After completed disinfection, attach the suction inlet screen with the screws
and tighten them gently.
