Quick Start
SimpleSearch and Navigation
Youwant to get to certain address, but you don't have the time right now to go through the user manual. Here's a quickand basic way to start navigatingimmediately.
Finding and Navigating to a Destination
Tap the Search icon on the Control Bar. Enter the address in the
Whatfield. Tap the Searchbutton. Tap on the Search Result. Tap Navigate Toand you will be automatically guided from your
present GPS location to your selected destination.

Touch Gestures
Using Touch Gestures in Map View
Use your fingers to manipulate the map and page views in theapp.
Selecting anItem
Tap the screen surface once with a fingertipto select a button on the Control Bar, a map icon, etc.
Panningthe Map
Swipe (moveor quickly brushyour fingertipacross the screen surface)to panacrossthe map.
Tilting the Map
Selecting aPoint ontheMap
Touch and continue pressinga point on the map with a fingertipto select that point. A that spot.

Tap the screen surface once with a fingertip to select a button, tab, list item, etc. Double tap to deselect or toggle applicableitems.

Swipe (move or quickly brush your fingertip up and down the screen surface)to scroll up and down a page.
The Map View
This is the firstscreen you'll see oncethe app starts. Your GPS will tell the softwarewhere youareand you'll seeyour location. This is the app's defaultstart screen and it's calledMap View.
The Control Bar
Located along the topand bottomof your screen(together with the Status Bar)in Map View in portrait modeand just alongthe bottom in landscape mode,theControl Bar features the Searchbutton, theDriving Optionsbutton,the Last Page Accessedfieldandthe Main Menubutton.
The Search Button
Tapping theSearchbutton takes you immediatelyto the Search page.TheSearchicon is always present on the Control Bar no matter where youare in the app. Tap it from anywhere in theapp to go directly to theSearch page. You can instantly return to the Map View by tapping theClose tabin the upper right-handcorner of the Search page in portraitmodeor Cancelin the far, lower left-handcorner of the Searchpagewhen you’re in landscape mode.
The Driving Options Button
Tapping theOptions pagewhere you can choose yourAlert Options: Speed
Alert, Safety Camera Alert, POI AlongThe Route. Scroll down to
the bottom of the page to the Map Displaybutton. Tapping on it takes you to theSelect Map Display pagewhere you can chose the Day,Nightor Automatic display modes. Tapping theClose tab in the upper right-hand corner returnsyou to the Map View.
The Last Page AccessedField / Map View Button
This field displays the tappable menu category buttonofthe lastMainMenu category page you accessed. Tapping it will take you to that menu category page.When you are in a Main Menu category page, the Last Page Accessed field switches the Map
View

The Main Menu Button
Tap the Main Menubutton to access theMain Menu pagewhere you can access theTake Me Home, Route Options, Favorites,
History, Settingsand Storebuttons.Return to the Map View by
tapping theMap Viewbutton on theControl Baror exit theapplication completely by tapping theExit Applicationbutton onthe Control Bar.
The Status Bar
The Status Bar features the GPS Signal Strengthindicator, theCurrent Speed indicator, theClockdisplayand theBattery Levelindicator.
TheGPS Signal StrengthIndicator
This displays your GPS signal strength. Three yellow barsindicatethe maximum GPS signal strength (within a 5 meter accuracy). Feweryellow barsindicate a progressively weaker, less accurate,GPS signal. Threered barsindicate the absence of aGPS signal.
TheCurrent Speed Indicator
This icon indicates your vehicle's current speed.
TheClock Display
This one shows youthe current time.
TheBattery Level Indicator
An electrical pluginside the iconindicates thatthe battery isbeing charged.A lightning bolt inside it lets you know the battery is fully charged. A red battery icon warns you that you're nearly empty.

Tap the Smart Orientation Menubutton once to access the Smart Orientation Menu.
TheRotation ModeButton
Tap the Smart Orientation Menubuttononce to access the Smart Orientation Menu. Tap the Rotation Modebutton to toggle between Panning and Rotation Modes.
ThePanning ModeButton
Tap the Smart Orientation Menubuttononce to access the Smart Orientation Menu. Tap the Panning Mode button to toggle between Panning and Rotation Modes.
The2DModeButton
Tap the Smart Orientation Menu buttononce to access the Smart Orientation Menu. Tap the 2Dbuttononce to toggle between thetwo-dimensional (aerial) map view and the three-dimensional(depth-perspective) map view.
The3DModeButton
Tap the Orientation Menu. Tap the 3Dbutton once to toggle between thethree-dimensional (depth-perspective) map view and the two-dimensional (aerial) map view.

TheShow North Button
Tap the Smart Orientation Menu buttononce to access the Smart Orientation Menu. Tap the Show North buttonto instantly rotate your map view so that north is at the top of your screen.
