IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION. READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. Follow label information and instructions concerning Wet or Damp Locations, installation near combustible materials, insulation, building materials, and proper lamping. Do not install in areas subject to combustible vapors or gases. Before wiring to power supply and during servicing or relamping, turn off power at fuse or circuit breaker. All installation servicing or relamping must be performed by qualified service personnel. Product must

be grounded to avoid potential electric shock or other potential hazard. Product must be mounted in locations and at heights and in a manner consistent with its intended use, and in compliance with the National Electrical Code and local codes. The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer or installed contrary to instructions may cause

an unsafe condition. Do not block light emanating from product in whole or part, as this may cause an unsafe condition. Do not allow items such as drapes, curtains, screens or the like to come into contact with the product or to block light from the product, as this may cause an unsafe condition.

1. Bend brackets as shown in FIG. 1. Install the fix-

ture in the ceiling using mounting channels or bar hangers (B6, B24, or by others) placed in the adjustable mounting brackets. Mount the fixture in the ceiling so that the weight of the fixture is supported by the mounting channel or bar and/or hanger wires secured to the building structure (not ceiling).

2. Adjust the fixture so the bottom edge of the plas-

ter flange opening is flush with the finished ceiling line and in alignment with adjacent fixtures. Secure mounting brackets by tightening wing nuts on either side of the fixture.

3. Remove J-Box cover. Remove appropriate knock-

out and install appropriate UL listed conduit connector for the supply wire used. Connect white fixture wire to white (common) supply wire, connect fixture ground wire to green (ground) wire, connect black fixture wire to black (line) supply wire using UL listed wire connectors. Reinstall J-Box cover.

WARNING: DO NOT pinch wires between J-Box/ballast cover and J-Box. Consult a Qualified Electrician for all other options that require other wiring configurations.

4. After all ceiling installation and finishing work

is complete, attach the safety cable to the light engine/reflector assembly, by unscrewing the wing nut (FIG. 2).

5. Connect the wires coming from the light engine

to the wires coming from the driver conduit by snapping the two connectors together (FIG. 3

6. Install driver conduit connector into 7/8” hole in

light engine reflector on splice box. Caution: Do not pinch wires

7. Insert the light engine/reflector assembly into

the opening of the housing. Pay attention to the hexagonal rod that needs to slide into the heat sink hole. Tighten the captive tamper proof screw using the insert bit provided. Make sure the reflector is flush against the ceiling.

NOTE: During step 7 use gloves to prevent fingerprints on the reflector and trim.

NOTE: B26 and B24 Bar Hanger must be ordered separately.

NOTE: Adjustable mounting brackets are supplied flat. To ensure proper alignment, bend brackets in line with marks on flange as shown in FIG. 1.
