Thank you for your purchase of a state of the art Premier Water Treatment system.
UC1-HC Water Treatment System:
Premier UC1-HC water treatment system contains a heavy duty sediment, cyst and chlorine
reducing lter block. The UC1-HC water ltration helps protect small appliances and provides clean, clear, great tasting water with a higher ow and gallon rating than other similar systems.
System Maintenance
Just because you can not taste it, does not mean that it is not there. Many contaminants in the
drinking water are undetectable to the taste. Additionally, over time if you do not replace the lter elements, other bad tastes and odors will be apparent in your drinking water. This is why it is important to change your lters at the recommended intervals as indicated in this system
manual.
When replacing any of the lter elements, pay special attention to any cleaning instructions. Should
you have any further questions please refer to our web site at www.PremierH2o.com or call our customer service department at 1-800-752-5582.

Mount the Filtration System
Step 8 Determine best location for the ltration system to be mounted and
spliced into the 3/8” blue tubing. Using the mounting holes on the
bracket, mark the location for the mounting screws on the cabinet wall under the sink (Make sure to leave enough room to remove the lter during lter changes, approximately 2” below lter). In the
parts bag, locate the two self tapping screws. Using an electric
drill with a Phillips bit, screw them into the cabinet at the marked
location. Hang the system on the screws using the mounting holes
in the bracket

Step 9
Step 10
After mounting the system, determine where and cut the 3/8” blue
tubing into two parts in order to connect it to the ltration system.
Connect the 3/8” blue tube coming from the angle stop valve into
the left side of the ltration system (IN), by pushing the tubing rmly into the quick connect tting. Connect the 3/8” blue tube coming from the faucet supply hose into the right side of the ltration system (OUT), by pushing the tubing rmly into the quick connect tting.
IN OUT
Congratulations!
You have completed the installation of your new water ltration system.
Please Follow the Startup Instructions.
Start up Instructions
Step 1
Step 2
Turn on water supply at cold water angle stop. Turn cold water faucet handle to the open
position to start the ow of water through the unit. Run 5 gallons of water through the unit in order to ush out the normal black carbon nes (it will “sputter” until the air is purged out) from
the unit. Initially, the water may appear cloudy which is due to tiny air bubbles and it will clear
up shortly. Close the faucet when nished.
Check for leaks. If you have any leaks, shut off the water supply to your system, tighten any ttings and restart unit.
(Check frequently over the next 24 hours to ensure no leaks are present)

Filter Change
Premier recommends changing the lter element once every 1 year. However lter life may
vary depending on local water conditions and water use.
Use Premier’s replacement cartridge only. Other lters may look the same, but only lters by Premier are manufactured to t your UC1-HC lter unit in order to ensure proper reduction
of water contaminants.
