4 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 Fire or explosion hazard
Fluid and solvents can be highly flammable or combustible.
Use in well-ventilated spray booth. Avoid any ignition sources such as smoking, open flames, slsctrical hazard, etc.
Never use HALOGENATED HYDROCARBON SOLVENTS
(1.1.1TRICHLORINE,ETHYL CHLORIDE, etc.) Which can chemically react with aluminium and zinc parts and cause an explosion. Be sure that all fluids and solvents used are chemically compatible with aluminium and zinc parts.
To reduce the risk of static sparking, grounding continuity to the spray equipment ane
object being sprayed must be maintained.
4.2 Misuse hazard
POWAIR0109 EN
NEVER point gun in the direction of human body. NEVER exceed the maximum safe working pressure of the epuipment. ALWAYS release air and fluid pressures before cleaning ,disassembling or servicing. For emergency stop and prevention of unintended operation, a ball valve installation
4.3 Hazard created while coating materials are atomized and sprayed
Toxic vapours produced by spraying certain materials can create intoxication and
Noise level mentioned in main specifications was measured at 1.0m behind the tip of
4.4 Other hazards
NEVER modify this product for any applications. NEVER enter working areas of robots, reciprocators, conveyors, etc, unless
NEVER spray foods or chemicals through the spray gun.

5 INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATION
5.1 Preparation
1. After unpacking the product, inspect carefully for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Make sure to tighten fittings, bolts, etc., before putting unit into service.
2. Thoroughly mix and thin paint in accordance with the paint manufacturers instructions.
Most materials will spray readily if thinned properly.
3. Strain material through filter, cheese cloth or a paint strainer.
4. Fill the canister about ¾ full and start the air compressor.
WARNING DO NOT EXCEED Maximum Pressure of Spray Gun or any other parts in the compressor system.
5. After Connect the gun to air supply, please make sure that the fluid cap, container and
air hose have been connected tightly with spray gun.
6. Set up a piece of cardboard or other scrap material to use as a target and adjust for
best spray pattern.
WARNING Never aim or spray at yourself or anybody else which would cause serious injury.
7. Test the consistency of the material by making a few strokes on a cardboard target.
THIN WITH CARE! Do not exceed paint manufacturers thinning recommendations.
5.2 Adjustment
The desired pattern, volume of fluid output and fine atomization can easily be obtained by regulating the Pattern Adjusting Knob,Fluid (PAINT) Adjusting Knob. Fig 1: 1=Increase
5.2.1 Pattern adjustment:
Turning pattern adjusting knob to the right till the end will make spray pattern round, or turning left will make spray pattern ellipse.
5.2.2 Fluid (paint) adjustment:
Turning the paint adjusting knob clockwise will decrease the volume of fluid output and counter-clockwise will increase fluid output.

5.2.3 Operation (Fig. 2)
Suggested air pressure is 0. 2-0 3Mpa. Recommended paint viscosity differs according to paint property and painting
conditions.16 to 20 sec.

will lead to better finishing with fine atomization.
Set the spray distance from the gun to the workpiece as near as possible within the
range of 150 - 200mm.
The gun should be held so that it is perpendicular to the surface of the workpiece at
all times. Then the gun should move in a and horizontal line. Arcing the gun causes uneven painting.
6 MAINTENANCE
Turn off air and coating materials to the gun and release pressure by triggering the gun before disassembling, gleaning or servicing.
Pay attention when disassembling spray gun since you must touch sharp parts.
Do not disassemble without receiving enough knowledge and education.
Pour remaining paint into another container and then clean paint passages and air
cap. Spray a small amount of thinner to clean paint passages. Incomplete cleaning will cause adverse pattern shape and particles. Clean fully and promptly twocomponent paint after use.
Clean other sections with attached brush soaked with thinner and waste cloth. Clean paint passages fully before disassembly. Remove fluid nozzle after removing fluid needle set or while keeping fluid needle
pulled, in order to protect seat section.
Turn Spread adj. Knob counterclockwise to fully open And then tighten Spread adj.
guide into gun body.
Never immerse the whole gun into liquid such as thinner.
Never damage holes of air cap, fluid nozzle fluid needle.
7 STORING
When not using spray gun, turn the fluid adjustment knob counter-clockwise to open
which will reduce spring tension on needle fluid tip.
Spray gun MUST BE well cleaned and lightly lubricated.

Air enters between material nozzle and nozzle seat.
Assembly parts again after clean the connecting part between Material nozzle and nozzle seat. Or change these two parts when they are damaged.
Air enters between the airflow separating ring and gun body or nozzle seat.
Assemble parts again after do the cleaning works or change new ones when they are damaged.
Air enters near the need sealing nut.
Rocking the needle sealing nut.
Air enters between material passage connector and cup.
Assenbly and locking the relative parts again after do the cleaning works.
CRESCENT
Some eyewinker block on the holes of airflow nozzle, that caused the asymmetry painting from the horn holes.
Using brush to clean the eyewinker from the horn holes completely. But It Is not allowed to clean by some metal cleaning device.
Some Solids cling between the Material nozzle and airflow nozzle.
Clean the solides and change relative parts if some of then are damaged.
9 NOISE
Noise emission values measured according to relevant standard. (K=3)

REASON
REMEDIES
INCLINED
Some solids cling on the exit part of material nozzle.
Assembly the parts again after cleaning the join between material nozzle and nozzle set.
SPLIT
Paint viscosity too low.
Add paint to increase viscosity.
Fluid output too high.
Adjust the spray adjust valve set to low, but the spray pattern will be small.
HEAVY CENTER
Paint viscosity too high.
Add thinner to reduce viscosity.
Fluid output too high.
Adjust the spray adjust valve set to higher.
