QUILTED LONG BOOT

The Posey Quilted Long Boot ooads the heel and helps
protect heels, ankles, and calves from skin irritation.
Intended for use by patients who are seated or in bed.
The boot helps reduce pressure on the heel by dispersing weight
evenly along the calf. The protectors are lled with polyester
ber, covered with a cotton fabric, and have three padded
adjustable straps with hook and loop closures. Machine
washable and one size ts most applications. One pair per
package.

MONITORING

Be sure to follow your facility’s policies and
guidelines for frequency of patient monitoring. Posey
recommends that this product be removed at least every
two (2) hours to check for skin integrity, proper circulation
and range of motion.

INSPECTION

Inspect before each use: check for broken
stitches; or torn, cut or frayed material. DO NOT use soiled or
damaged products.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Unfasten the hook and loop padded straps.

2. Place the product on the foot so that two straps can be

secured around the calf and one strap secured across the
toes.

3. Fasten the hook and loop padded straps for the desired t.

DO NOT allow the patient to walk or ambulate
while wearing this product.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Close hook and loop before washing.

DISPOSAL

Properly dispose of the product per facility’s policy
for BIOHAZARDOUS materials.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

This device is designed for use in normal indoor
environments. This device may be stored in ambient
warehouse temperatures at normal humidity levels. Avoid
excess moisture or high humidity that may damage product
materials.
