How to Setup WN-100 Wireless USB Adaptor
Begin by removing the protective cap from the WN-100. Plug the WN-100 into one of the Popcorn Hour
device ’s USB slot s.
Navigate to the Setup page a nd then s elec t the Net work o ption. S elec t the Mode box. The drop-down
menu will p rovide t he opti on to sel ect e ither Wi rele ss Manu al IP or Wir eles s Auto IP. Navigate down
and clic k the save bu tton t o proc eed.
Note: Ma nual mod e will req uire an ad ditional step t o compl ete the instal lation.
The dis play will no w switch to the SSID s elec tion s cree n. Eithe r selec t scan to look for nearby networks,
or enter the SSID manually.

Once the network SSID has been set, select the Security box. The drop-down menu will provide a list of
suppor ted s ecur ity t ypes. S elec t the one a pprop riate f or the ne twor k.
If the net work ha s some fo rm of se curit y enab led, the s ecur ity key will need to be provi ded in th e next b ox.
Otherwise, the box may be left empty. Once all appropriate data has been provided, navigate down and
click t he save button to proceed.
For Wireless Manual IP mode, one additional step has to be taken. Navigate back to the Network menu
in the Set up page, a nd sele ct the c ongure IP button. Set the desired IP and Gateway addresses in the
empty elds. C lick on t he save but ton to proce ed.
Return to the Network menu in the Setup page to conrm that the Popcorn Hour device has acquired the
new IP addr ess.
