Polaris RZR® 570/800 Expedition Rack™
(MOUNTING HARDWARE INCLUDED)
Designed to give your Polaris RZR 570 or Polaris RZR 800 extra Cargo Capacity. This is the rack for those who enjoy taking
their Polaris RZR’s on long expeditions and want to take everything with them. Our RZR Cargo Rack allows you to increase
you the cargo capacity in your Side x Side. The RZR Storage Rack also allows you to store items on in the back and on the
top cargo tray of your rzr. The swing out tailgate allows you to Pad-a-lock valuables in the RZR Cargo Rack while trailering
or traveling down the trail. Think of the peace of mind you will have when going into a restaurant or when you hike down a
trail head knowing your helmets and coolers are locked away safely in your RZR’s Storage Rack. You can also mount your
RZR Spare Tire to our It Fits Mount on your RZR Cargo Rack Tailgate.

The following are general instructions for installation of
the Polaris RZR® 570/800 Expedition Rack™ (RBO5140).
-It is the up to the installer that each rack be securely
mounted.
-RBO recommends using two people for install.
-Install “Side Assemblies” to the base unit using top
mounting holes using
-Do not fully tighten, keep “Side Assemblies” slightly
loose. This will give a little play with installation on unit.
-Place the side mounting bolt into side mounting hole but
do not install fully

-Installation of the top mounting locations use a sandwich
style upper mounting bracket that attach to the vehicles
ROPS cage.
See Fig. 1 to Fig. 4
-Do not fully tighten, keep “Side Assemblies” slightly
loose. This will give a little play with installation on unit.

-Use existing nut if it is available
-Install rack on to side assemblies using
(6) - 1/4” – 20 X 3/4” Hex Flange Bolt
(6) - 1/4” Nylock Flange Nut
-Do not fully tighten, keep the rack slightly loose. This will
give a little play with installation on unit.
-Starting from the top of the rack and moving down,
tighten all loose bolts

The following are general instructions for installation of
the Polaris RZR®570/800 Expedition Rack™ (RBO5140)
“Tailgate” . It is the up to the installer that each rack be
securely mounted.
-Install latch plate using
(2) - 1/4” – 20 X 3/4” Hex Flange Bolt
(2) - 1/4” Nylock Flange Nut

-- CAUTION Loads must be equally distributed
- Operator must use common sense when loading rack so as not to
affect the vehicles safe operation
- It Is The operators responsibility to follow all manufactures
recommendations regarding safe operation of any vehicle

-Install (RBO5109) “Tailgate” hinge brackets using
(RBO5084) Hinge Bracket
-(2) 3/8” Shoulder Bolts
-(4) 3/8” Brass Washers
-(2) 5/16” Nylock Nuts
-Install Polaris RZR®570/800 Expedition Rack™
(RBO5140) “Tailgate” hinges using
-(8) 5/16” X 3/4” Socket Cap

-Do not fully tighten, keep the “Tailgate” hinges slightly
loose. This will give a little play with installation on unit
WARNING
- Loading Heavy Items on the Rack will change the vehicles “Center of Gravity” (C.G.) that could increase the potential for roll over
which could result in serious injury or death
- Maximum Combined Capacity of Cargo Rack is 120 lbs. - 160 lbs.
(Limited by Vehicle Capacity)
- Load Capacity of Top Rack is 60 lbs. (Limited by Vehicle Capacity)
- Load Capacity of Side Rack is 30 lbs. per side
(Do Not Recommend Mount Spare Tires on Side Racks)

40 lbs. (Limited by Vehicle Capacity)

-Install Threaded T-Handle into latch barrel on ‘Tailgate’
-Install Gas Strut on to the “Tailgate” mounting bracket

not slam it shut
- Before Transporting Flammable Liquids Please Read and Understand your Vehicles Owners Manual

- Only Use Containers Approved For Off-road Use
- Make Sure Containers are Secured to Avoid Spills and Leaks

These racks come with everything you need to install it on
your machine without drilling or modifying your machine.

has three “It Fits”™ mounting locations, one on each of
the side assemblies, and one on the gate, used for spare
tire.
-That by adding mounts to the side of the vehicle you make it
wider. RBO Highly recommends that you only use (RBO1018) Spare
Tire Mount on the (RBO5140) Polaris RZR®570/800 Expedition
Rack™ tailgate location.
-Be Sure To Comply with All Laws and Warnings Regarding the Safe
Handling Of Flammable Liquids.
