The SpeedCycler
Most strobes require a few seconds to recycle. In some circumstances a photographer will need to fire faster than the recycle times permit. The SpeedCycler allows a photographer to increase shooting rates by cycling from one strobe to the next. This will give each strobe more t ime to r ecycle.
Operation
With a camera connected to the sync-in, each trigger will sync to one sync-out terminal at a time. After each trigger, the sync connection moves to the next sync-out terminal in order 1-2-3-4-1... etc. The SpeedCycler will only trigger sync-out terminals that are turned on.
Changing Batteries
For proper operation, p lease use only 'AA' alkaline batteries. Use of standard or rechargeable batteries is not recommended. Rechargeable batteries have an output voltage lower than alkaline batteries so reliability and total operating time will suffer.
To change the batteries, hold the unit upside-down with the rounded corners away from you. Take both thumbs and push the cover away from you. It will slide out far enough to remove the batteries but cannot co me ou t of the case entirely. Be sure to reinstall the batteries properly. The plus (+) and minus (-) markings designate the end of the battery that is showing through the hole. There is also a label inside the battery channel that shows the proper battery orientation.
Batteries should last for about 300 hours of operation.
