Welcome

Plantronics Electronic Hookswitch (EHS) adapters provide a ring alert
signal to your Plantronics wireless headset anytime your deskphone
rings, and, allow you to answer and end calls right from your headset
anywhere within your headset’s range.

Install the APA-2 as shown in the diagram. On the Alcatel telephone, configure the Jack to
accept a headset by selecting the following options in sequence: Menu > Settings > Phone
> Jack > Headset. You should also switch OFF the headset option on your Alcatel telephone
(this option is used only for headsets that are plugged into the handset port). You can do this
by selecting: Menu > Settings > Forced Headset > OFF.

Die folgende Anleitung setzt voraus, dass Sie die Basisstation und das Headset bereits gemäß den
im entsprechenden Benutzerhandbuch angegebenen Anweisungen installiert haben.
Installieren Sie den APA-2 wie in der Abbildung dargestellt. Konfigurieren Sie die
Anschlussbuchse an Ihrem Alcatel-Telefon, indem Sie die folgenden Optionen in dieser
Reihenfolge wählen: Menü > Einstellungen > Telefon > Klinkenstecker > Headset > Ein.

Instale el accesorio APA-2 como se indica en el diagrama. En el teléfono de Alcatel,
seleccione la siguiente secuencia de opciones para que el conector pueda aceptar
un auricular: Menu (menú) > Settings (configuración) > Phone (teléfono) > Jack

pour une compatibilité avec un micro-casque en sélectionnant les options suivantes dans

> Headset (Micro-casque). Désactivez également l’option micro-casque sur votre téléphone
Alcatel (cette option est utilisée uniquement pour les micro-casques connectés au port du

(Micro-casque forcé) > OFF (OFF).
