This quick installation guide describes the objectives, organization
and basic installation of the PLANET DVR-460/DVR-860 surveillance
system, and offers stand-alone system to build a distributed
surveillance system, which can be monitored over the Internet, and
equipped with Hard Disc Drive that records the video directly. Also,
this guide shows you how to nd additional information on related
products and services.

DVR-460 Installation
InstallingHDD
1. Loosen the screws on the upper cover and open the upper cover
of the DVR.
2. Screw out the HDD bracket. For the positions of the HDD bracket
screws, please refer to the figure below.
3. When install the first HDD, please set the jumper on the HDD to
“Master” mode.
4. Screw HDD onto the HDD bracket, two screws for each side.
And then screw the HDD bracket back to the DVR base. (Refer
to Fig.1 & 2).

6. Close the upper cover of the DVR and fasten all the screws you
loosened in the step 1. (Refer to Fig. 4 & 5)
NOTE:
ONLY use the power adapter supplied with DVR-
460. Otherwise, the product may be damaged.
HardwareInstallation
1. Please connect your cameras to the Video Input (1~4).
2. Connect your monitor to “Monitor” connector.
3. Connect the LAN port to your switch/hub with a RJ-45 cable.
4. Connect IR reciver to the “IR” connector.
5. Connect the bundle power to the power connector (DC 19V).
6. Press this button to turn on your DVR-460.
