Planar PD470 Instruction

1. Using the PD370/420/PD470 with SCART RGB

This document describes how to connect RGB sources with a SCART connector
to a Planar PD370/420/PD470 Full-HD Flat-Panel Display.

1. Using a SCART-to-RGB cable,
connect the green/blue/red
video output from the source to
the Y/Pb/Pr terminals on the

2. Connect the composite
(horizontal/vertical) sync output
from the source to the AV1 input.

3. Select Setup from the Main Menu.

4. Select Main Source Select from
the Setup Menu.

5. Select Main Source Activate from
the Main Source Select Menu.

6. Press or to highlight SCART.
Then, press .

7. Press or to select ENABLE. This
enables the auto-scan feature to
work with the SCART input.

8. Press EXIT to store this setting.

To select the SCART input with
Auto-scan, press the AUTO remote
control button repeatedly until you
see an image from the SCART source.
