PDP repeats on and off in the state that a rear fan is not connected.

CAUSE

In Main Power Assy (ARW1077), noises enter into the Power ON/OFF signal coming

from Microcomputer, and it causes malfunction.

SERVICE

Remove the cathodic side of D3802, and add another diode (HSS104-02) to D3802 in

series

REMEDY

in Main Power Assy (AWR1077).

In order to enter Integrator Mode, press "Menu" key and then press "Standby/on" key within 3 seconds. Confirm "B HIGH" value, one of parameters for White Balance adjustment, and keep it in mind. Adjust so that B HIGH becomes 255.

It is not necessary to replace both X DRIVE ASSY and Y DRIVE ASSY at the same time. It is impossible to replace a new part with an old part. It is possible to replace an old part with a new part.

In this c ase , it is n ecessary to reset va lue of X- SUS-B ADJ or Y-SU S-B A DJ in service factory mode using the remote control unit provided with the plasma display. (Regarding the operations of service factory mode, see the service manual.)

1) 503 series When you replace the DRIVE ASSY of 503 series, add 2 steps to the current value of SUS-B ADJ that correspond to the part you replace.

(e.g.1) When you replace X DRIVE ASSY and the current value of X-SUS-B ADJ is "08 reset the value to "10". In this c ase , it is n ot n ecessary to rese t the value of Y-SU S-B A DJ.

(e.g.2) When you replace Y DRIVE ASSY and the current value of Y-SUS-B ADJ is "08 reset the value to "10". In this c ase , it is n or neces sary to rese t the value of X -SU B- B A D J.

It is not necessary to replace both X DRIVE ASSY and Y DRIVE ASSY at the same time. It is impossible to replace a new part with an old part. It is possible to replace an old part with a new part.

In this cas e, it is neces s ary to re set value of X- SUS-B ADJ or Y- SUS-B A D J in service factory mode using the remote control unit provided with the plasma display. (Regarding the operations of service factory mode, see the service manual.)

1) 503 series When you replace the DRIVE ASSY of 503 series, add 2 steps to the current value of SUS-B ADJ that correspond to the part you replace. (e.g.) When you replace X DRIVE ASSY and the current value of X-SUS-B ADJ is "08", res et the v alue to "10 ". In this cas e, it is no t ne ces s ary to r ese t the va lue of Y-SUS-B ADJ.

2) 433 series When you replace the DRIVE ASSY of 433 series, add 1 step to the current value of SUS-B ADJ that correspond to the part you replace. (e.g.) When you replace X DRIVE ASSY and the current value of X-SUS-B ADJ is "08", res et the v alue to "09 ". In this cas e, it is no t ne ces s ary to r ese t the va lue of Y-SUS-B ADJ.
