apparatus.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Phonic Versatap Series of spealers.
These compact, weather-resistant speakers are designed for clear,
articulate sound reproduction in many defferent applications. For
your convenience, Versatap speakers are available in both black
and white colors. Each speaker is equipped with 100V transformer
with 4 tap positions, and an 8 ohm bypass position. 100V and 8
ohm operation are not interchangeable, and doing so will damage
the speaker, amplier, or both units. Please verify which you will
be using before applying signal to the speaker.
CAUTION: This is not a waterproof unit, so exposure to water
may cause damage to the speaker and/or electrical shock. Please
observe the maximum allowable power rating to prevent overloading and damage the speaker.
When installing the Versatap speakers, please position them in
a manner that reduces exposure to the elements (water, snow,
sun, etc). This will increase the life of the speakers and protect
the speaker cones from damage. Versatap sperlers should be
pointing downwards or horizontally to prevent accumulation of
water in the speaker.
It is recommended that you mount the U-mount or RK-15 universal
swivel mount brackets to the desired location rst before attaching the speaker. This will allow the speaker to be aimed properly.
Please do not overtighten the speaker mounting knobs, as this
will damage the mounting threads.

INTRODUCCIÓN
Gracias por su compra de los parlantes de la serie Versatap de
Phonic. Estos parlantes compactos y resistentes están diseñados
para una reproducción de sonido clara y articulada en muchas y
diferentes aplicaciones. Para su conveniencia, los parlantes Versatap están disponibles en color blanco o en negro. Cada parlante
está equipado con un transformador de 100V con 4 posiciones
tap y una posición bypass de 8ohm. La operación 100V y 8ohm
no son intercambiables y haciendo esto dañará el parlante, el
amplicador o ambas unidades. Por favor, verique cuál usted
estará utilizando antes de aplicar la señal al parlante.
PRECAUCIÓN: esta no es una unidad a prueba de agua, por lo
que laexposición al mismo puede causar daños al parlante y/o

permitido para prevenir sobrecargas y daños al parlante.
Cuando instala los parlantes Versatap, por favor, ubíquelos de
manera tal que se reduzca su exposición a elementos como
agua, nieve, sol, etc. Esto aumentará la vida útil de los parlantes
y los protegerá de daños. Los parlantes Versatap deberían estar
mirando hacia abajo u horizontalmente para prevenir la acumulación de agua en el parlante.
Se recomienda armar la U-Mount y los soportes RK-15 Universal
Swivel Mount en el lugar deseado antes de juntarlo al parlante.

purchase against defects in material and

the user’s manual. Phonic, at its option,
shall repair or replace the defective unit
covered by this warranty. Please retain the

warranty service. No returns or repairs will
be accepted without a proper RMA number
