S-VHS ET brings you S-VHS quality on VHS tapes.The resolution on VHS tape wil enhance from the normal 240 lines to 400 lines.This means about 70% more resolution compared to VHS.

• Digital Studio Picture Control: Optimises the picture rendition regardless of the quality of tape used.

• Natural Colour: Removes any kind of noise from the colour in the picture.

• Tape List

Philips’Tape List offers a convenient and easy to use tape content information system for your most frequently used tapes (up to 9). You can use any tape, even those with existing recordings.To browse through the content of your most frequently used tapes, simply press the Tape List button on the remote control.The complete tape content overview will be shown on the TV screen. And you have immediate access to any recording just by selecting the desired recording (from the information displayed on your TV screen). On top of that you can edit the titles whenever you want to.

• Turbo Timer

Is Timer Programming complicated? No! Is Timer Programming time consuming? No! Just push the Turbo Timer button on the remote control and follow the Mini Guide on the rear side of your Remote Control.The display of your VCR asks you for the start and end time as well as the channel number. That’s it. Just a number of seconds.

• Record Link

You want to record a channel from your satellite receiver or any other external device when you’re not at home, or while you watch another channel at the same time? And you want to set your receiver to switch on at a specific time? Just activate the ‘RECORD LINK’, put the VCR in standby and programme the desired timer on your satellite receiver - when the satellite receiver switches on, the VCR will start the recording automatically.

• G-Code/Showview

G-Code/Showview provides you an easy way of programming your VCR. Just enter the G-Code/Showview number from your magazine and the programming is done.

• Multibrand Remote Control

Your Remote Control can control not only your VCR but also your TV.
