What is VisaCare and how can it help your skin? Age, lack of sleep, emotional stress or

environmental elements can take their toll on your skin. When you start to see the rst signs of skin

ageing and your skin does not seem to recover so quickly anymore, your skin requires extra care
and attention. That is why we have developed VisaCare, our exciting new approach to address the

rst signs of ageing, for a youthful looking skin today and tomorrow. Depending on your skin, you

can experience immediate effects such as smoother and revitalised skin after one treatment or a
few treatments. Effects such as skin rmness and a more even skin tone can be expected within
4-6 weeks.

You can use VisaCare in the comfort of your own home to enjoy smoother, rmer and revitalised

skin. VisaCare comes with a dual-action system that exfoliates and massages at the same time.
This system is more effective and controlled than exfoliating your skin with your hands only.

Designed to enhance your current routine, use VisaCare after cleansing your skin and before

applying a nourishing mask, day cream or night cream. After treatment, your skin is prepared for

How Philips microdermabrasion technology works

Philips VisaCare offers a DualAction Air Lift & Exfoliation system, which massages and exfoliates at
the same time. This stimulates the resurfacing process of the skin for rmer, smoother and visibly

radiant skin.

1 The exfoliating tip renews and unveils skin that is smoother, with more rened texture,

and rmer by stimulating your natural cell renewal process. It gently nudges away roughness,
akiness to rene the skin and to prepare the skin for better absorption of your favorite cream

after treatment.

2 The Air Lift System™ creates a gentle, stimulating massaging action encouraging blood

circulation while removing dead skin cells and revitalising your skin.

Important

Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it for future reference.

Danger

- Keep the adapter dry.

- Do not charge this appliance in wet surroundings (e.g. near a lled bath, a running shower or

near a lled swimming pool).

Warning

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.

- Only use the appliance in combination with the adapter supplied.

- Do not use the appliance or the adapter if it is damaged or broken to avoid injuries.

- If the adapter is damaged, always have it replaced with one of the original type in order to avoid
a hazardous situation.

- The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adapter to replace it with another plug,
as this causes a hazardous situation.

- Do not use the appliance if the treatment tip is broken, cracked, damaged or dirty.
Always inspect the treatment tip before use. When in doubt, replace the treatment tip.

- Do not insert metal-containing material into the socket for the small plug to avoid short circuiting.

- This appliance contains a magnet. Keep magnets away from cardiac pacemakers. Persons with cardiac
pacemakers or other devices implanted in their bodies should not come into close proximity with magnets.

Specialist medical opinion must be sought before such persons handle or come into contact with magnets.

Caution

- Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than to massage and gently remove the dead
upper skin layer to speed up normal skin turnover.

- Do not use the appliance more than twice a week, as this may cause skin irritation.

- Do not use the appliance in combination with (scrub) creams or with chemical or mechanical
peelings, this may cause damage to the appliance and your skin.

- Charge, use and store the appliance at a temperature between 5°C/40°F and 35°C/95°F.

- Fully charge the appliance at least every 3 months to sustain battery lifetime.

VisaCare enhances the absorption of your creams and facial masks. Due to this enhanced uptake a
negative skin reaction can appear. The advice is to not change between creams during the rst
2-4 weeks of use of VisaCare. When you start to use a new cream after this period, rst test this
cream on a small area. Do not continue to use this cream if there is a negative skin reaction when

applying it to the VisaCare treated skin. When starting treatment, or restarting after discontinuing for
more than 2 weeks, begin again with the sensitive tip. This will allow your skin to once again become
used to the treatment.

Contraindications and other warnings

This appliance has been developed to address the rst signs of facial ageing. As the epidermal skin

layer becomes thinner over the years due to extrinsic and intrinsic factors, rough skin and signs of

photodamage become more prominent. The focus of this appliance is facial skin (excluding the area
underneath and above the eyes).

Do not use this appliance:

- If you have skin infections, open wounds, rashes, burns, sunburn, inammation, eczema, psoriasis,
rosacea, active infections like herpes or active acne breakouts in the areas to be treated.

- If you have large moles, tattoos, port wine stains, permanent make-up or any skin irritation in the
areas to be treated.

- If your skin is still recovering from a cosmetic procedure, such as a chemical or mechanical
peeling, laser resurfacing, fractional laser treatment, or mesotherapy treatment or any other

treatment with dermal llers in the past two weeks.

- If you are taking medication that may affect your skin, such as steroids or acne medication
(Accutane, Isotretinoine or Roaccutane). Consult your doctor.

- If you have warts, do not try to erase them with this appliance. It can spread the warts.

- If you have scars, consult your doctor or dermatologist before you start using the appliance.

- In combination with any other home skincare system containing an active peeling ingredient.

General advice

- After each treatment it is advised to use a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or above on the
treated areas for a minimum of 3 days.

- If you have a signicant skin condition (including but not limited to melanoma, basal cell
carcinoma, actinic keratosis, melasma, systemic lupus erythematosus, porphyria, coagulation
abnormality and collagen abnormalities such as keloid wounds, excessive scar formation or a

history of bad wound healing), consult your doctor before you start using the appliance.

- If you plan to enjoy the sun (e.g. summer holidays) we recommend that you interrupt the
treatment one week before the holidays and as long as you are extensively exposed to the sun.

Electromagnetic elds (EMF)

This Philips appliance complies with all applicable standards and regulations regarding exposure to

electromagnetic elds.

Charging

Charging the appliance

Charging the appliance takes approximately 8 hours. A fully charged appliance has a cordless
operating time of up to 30 minutes.

1 Make sure the appliance is switched off.

Insert the small plug in the socket of the charging stand and insert the adapter in the wall socket (Fig. 2).

3 Put the appliance in the charging stand (Fig. 3).

, The charging light ashes white to indicate that the appliance is charging. (Fig. 4)
, When the battery is fully charged, the charging light lights up white continuously for

30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the light goes out (Fig. 5).

Note: You can use the appliance before the battery is fully charged. However, its performance and
operating time will not be optimal in this case.

’Battery low’ indication

When the battery is almost empty, the charging light ashes amber for 4 seconds during use and

after you have switched off the appliance. The battery still contains enough energy for a complete
5-minute treatment. When the battery is completely empty, the appliance switches off automatically

and the charging light ashes amber very quickly. It is advised to charge the appliance immediately

after use.

Preparing for use

Make sure you have charged the appliance for 8 hours before you use it for the rst time.

Preparation

Always clean and gently dry your face until it is completely dry.

Note: The appliance is intended for dry use only. Do not use it on a wet face or in the shower or bathtub.
Note: Use the QR-code on the front cover or follow the link to watch the online video for instructions on

correct use of the appliance.

Using the appliance

Note: Use the appliance twice a week. Using the appliance more often may cause skin irritation.

1 Press the on/off button to switch on the appliance (Fig. 6).

2 When you use the appliance for the rst time, test the treatment tip on your forearm before

you use it on your face. Make a pass with the appliance and then wait for approximately one
hour. If a possible skin reaction diminishes, you can safely use the tip on your face.

Note: Always visually check the treatment tip before use to see if it is damaged. A damaged treatment tip
scratches your skin. If the treatment tip is damaged, replace it.

Note: Do not use the appliance without the treatment tip as this does not benet your skin and may

cause an unwanted skin reaction.

3 Put the treatment tip on your face in such a way that you feel the suction. Make sure there is

always full skin contact between the treatment tip and the area to be treated. However,
do not press the treatment tip hard onto the skin’s surface (Fig. 7).

4 Gently move the treatment tip in straight lines. Start on the chin, and then move to the

cheeks, forehead and nose. Make sure you treat all areas.

Tip: Use your other hand to stretch and hold the skin and move the appliance away from your hand.
This makes it easier to achieve proper suction, especially on the temples and cheeks.
See facial map in the back of the user manual for detailed instructions on how to move the appliance
across your face.

Do not move the appliance over large moles, tattoos, port wine stains or permanent makeup.

Do not treat the skin below or above the eyes, as it is thin and delicate. When you treat ne lines
on the side of the eye, put a nger of the other hand in the corner of the eyelid and move the
appliance away from the nger towards the temple.

Note: Do not hold the treatment tip in one spot when you have placed it on the skin.

5 Depending on the condition of your skin, start to treat each area 2-4 times. When your skin

is used to the treatment, increase to 4-6 passes or start to use the normal treatment tip.
When you use the normal treatment tip, start to treat each area 3-4 passes. When your skin
is used to the treatment, increase to 4-6 passes.

6 When you have treated all areas, press the on/off button to switch off the appliance.

A complete treatment takes approximately 5 minutes (Fig. 8).

Depending on your skin type, you may experience a warm and tingling sensation and your skin may

become slightly red. This is only a temporary effect that should diminish within 5-10 minutes.

Tip: In areas where full skin contact is harder to achieve, such as the forehead, try different ways of

holding the appliance. Try vertical and horizontal movements to nd the best way to establish proper

contact with your skin. You can also hold your hand still and move your head instead.

If you suspect damage to the appliance (such as after a drop or bump), examine the treatment tip
carefully. If the tip is damaged, replace it. Do not use a damaged treatment tip, as this may cause
scratches.

After treatment

After the treatment, apply a nourishing mask, day cream or night cream and make sure you use sun

protection when you go outside. Do not use any other method of mechanical or chemical
exfoliation for 3 days. Do not undergo electrolysis, facial waxing or use depilatories within 3 days

after you have used the appliance. You can apply make-up immediately after the treatment.

Cleaning and maintenance

Do not immerse the appliance in water. Do not use chemicals to clean the appliance. Never use
scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as petrol or acetone to clean
the appliance.

1 Make sure the appliance is switched off before you start cleaning it (Fig. 6).

2 Remove the treatment tip from the appliance. (Fig. 9)

3 Clean the treatment tip under the tap with hot water and some washing-up liquid. If the

exfoliation ring is dirty, let the tip soak in hot water with washing-up liquid for 5-10 minutes.

You can use the brush to clean it. Make sure you clean the lter with the treatment tip
upside down to rinse off any dirt left in the lter. Dry the treatment tip with a lint-free towel

or let it air-dry (Fig. 10).

4 Clean the handle with a damp cloth (Fig. 11).

5 Place the dry treatment tip back onto the appliance.

6 Wipe the charging stand with a damp cloth.

Danger: Always keep the adapter and the charging stand dry. Never rinse them under the tap or
immerse them in water.

Clean the treatment tip after every use for hygienic reasons and to prevent clogging of the lter.
Only use washing-up liquid or an alcohol solution (max. 70%) to clean the treatment tip.

Storage

Store the appliance with the treatment tip attached in the charging stand or pouch.

Note: Do not store a wet treatment tip on the appliance or in the pouch.

Replacement

A worn and abrasive structure could lead to skin irritation. therefore the treatment tip should be
replaced every 6 months or earlier if the abrasive structure is deformed or damaged.

Replacement tips are available on our website. The treatment tip can be identied by the product
code. You can nd this code on the inside of the treatment tip.

Make sure the socket to which you connect the appliance is live. Check if
the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains
voltage. Check if you have placed the appliance in the stand properly.

If you use a socket in a bathroom cabinet, you may need to switch on
the light to activate the socket. If the light on the appliance still does not

light up or if the appliance still does not charge, contact the Philips
Consumer Care Centre.

Charge the appliance according to the instructions in this user manual.
Check if there is a power failure and if the wall socket is live. Check if the
charging light on the appliance lights up to make sure the appliance is
charging. Make sure that you have pressed the on/off button properly.

If the appliance still does not work, contact the Philips Consumer Care

Centre.
This is a safety measure. The appliance is not intended to work when it is

charging. Let the appliance charge approximately 1 hour for a 5-minute

treatment.
Only use the appliance on dry skin. The appliance only works optimally

on dry skin.

This treatment may lead to mild redness directly after the treatment.
You may experience a warm, tingly sensation during the treatment.
These effects usually disappear within several minutes and are generally

experienced as pleasant. It is possible that you experience dry or aky
skin, prolonged redness or swelling. In that case you may have pressed

the appliance too hard on your face or treated the same area too many
times. Try to exert less pressure onto the appliance during the next

treatment or treat the area fewer times. In rare cases the appliance may

cause a bruise or blister, scratch or pigmentation change. Almost all skin
reactions will disappear within a week, pigmentation change will decrease
within several weeks or a few months. To avoid possible side effects, use
a day cream with sun protection factor or a sun protection cream after
the treatment. This helps to avoid sunburn. The appliance has been tested

and conrmed safe for use when used as described in the user manual.

Medicines or products and their possible side effects can affect individual

people in different ways. Since there is always the possibility that a rare

or previously unknown side effect may occur with the use of this
appliance or any other product, please contact the Philips Consumer
Care Centre in case you experience a side effect which is not mentioned
above.

Check if the lter is clogged. Clean the treatment tip by rinsing it under
the tap. If the exfoliation ring is dirty, let the tip soak in hot water with

washing-up liquid for 5-10 minutes. You can use the cleaning brush to

clean it. Make sure you clean the lter with the treatment tip upside
down to rinse off any dirt left in the lter. Dry the treatment tip with a

lint-free towel or let it air-dry. Check if you can feel the suction of the
appliance when the treatment tip is taken off: you remove the tip and

then switch on the appliance. When you put your nger on the hole,
you should be able to feel the suction. If you do not feel the suction,

the appliance might be broken. Please contact your Philips Consumer
Care Centre.

Try different ways of holding the appliance in order to nd the right

angle of the treatment tip with the forehead for good skin contact.
Make sure to move the appliance slowly over the forehead. You can try
to hold your hand still and move your head instead.

- Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht öfter als zweimal pro Woche, um Hautirritationen zu vermeiden.

- Laden, benutzen und verwahren Sie das Gerät bei Temperaturen zwischen 5 und 35 °C.

VisaCare sorgt für eine bessere Aufnahme von Cremes und Gesichtsmasken. Aufgrund dieser

verbesserten Aufnahmefähigkeit können negative Hautreaktionen auftreten. Es wird empfohlen,
Cremes während der ersten 2 - 4 Wochen der Anwendung von VisaCare nicht zu wechseln. Wenn
Sie nach dieser Zeit eine neue Creme verwenden, testen Sie diese Creme zuerst in einem kleinen
Bereich. Verwenden Sie diese Creme nicht mehr, wenn bei Verwendung der Creme nach der
Behandlung mit VisaCare negative Hautreaktionen auftreten. Beginnen Sie die Behandlung oder eine
erneute Behandlung nach einer Unterbrechung von mehr als 2 Wochen mit den Aufsätzen für

Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nicht:

- Wenn Sie Hautinfektionen, offene Wunden, Ausschläge, Brandwunden, Sonnenbrand,
Entzündungen, Ekzeme, Schuppenechte, Rosazea, aktive Infektionen wie Herpes oder aktive
Akneschübe in zu behandelnden Bereichen haben.

- Wenn Sie große Muttermale, Tätowierungen, Feuermale, Permanent Make-up oder andere
Hautirritation in den zu behandelnden Bereichen haben.

- Wenn sich Ihre Haut noch von einer kosmetischen Behandlung, wie z B. chemischen oder
mechanischen Peelings, Oberächen-Laserbehandlungen, fraktionierten Laserbehandlungen,
mesotherapeutischen Behandlungen oder anderen Behandlungen mit Hautfüllern, in den letzten

zwei Wochen erholt.

- Wenn Sie Medikamente nehmen, die Auswirkungen auf Ihre Haut haben, wie Steroide oder

Aknemedikamente (Accutan, Isotretinoin oder Roaccutan). Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Arzt.

- Wenn Sie Warzen haben, versuchen Sie nicht, diese mit dem Gerät zu entfernen. Dadurch
können die Warzen sich weiter ausbreiten.

- Wenn Sie Narben haben, befragen Sie Ihren Arzt oder Hautarzt, bevor Sie das Gerät verwenden.

- In Kombination mit anderen Hautpegesystemen für den Heimgebrauch, die über aktive

Peeling-Inhaltsstoffe verfügen.

Allgemeine Empfehlungen

- Es wird empfohlen, auf den behandelten Bereich nach jeder Anwendung mindestens 3 Tage lang
einen Sonnenschutz (mindestens mit Lichtschutzfaktor 30) aufzutragen.

- Wenn Sie eine signikante Hauterkrankung haben (einschließlich aber nicht begrenzt auf
Melanome, Basalzellkarzinome, aktinische Keratose, Melasma, systemische Lupus erythematodes,
Porphyre, Gerinnungsstörungen und Kollagenstörungen wie Wulstnarben, übermäßige
Narbenbildung oder eine Vorgeschichte schlecht heilender Verletzungen), befragen Sie Ihren
Arzt, bevor Sie das Gerät verwenden.

- Wenn Sie beabsichtigen, die Sonne (z. B. im Sommerurlaub) zu genießen, empfehlen wir,

Laden

Das Gerät laden

Das Laden des Geräts dauert ungefähr 8 Stunden. Ein vollständig aufgeladenes Gerät hat eine
kabellose Betriebszeit von bis zu 30 Minuten.

1 Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

2 Führen Sie den kleinen Gerätestecker in die Buchse in der Ladestation, und stecken Sie den

Adapter in eine Steckdose (Abb. 2).

3 Stellen Sie das Gerät in die Ladestation (Abb. 3).

, Die Ladeanzeige blinkt weiß und zeigt an, dass das Gerät aufgeladen wird. (Abb. 4)

Anzeige “Akku fast leer”

Wenn der Akku beinahe leer ist, blinkt die Ladeanzeige während des Gebrauchs und nach dem
Ausschalten 4 Sekunden lang gelb. Der Akku enthält noch genug Energie für eine vollständige
5-Minuten-Behandlung. Wenn der Akku vollständig leer ist, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ab, und die
Ladeanzeige blinkt sehr schnell gelb. Es wird empfohlen, das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch zu laden.

Für den Gebrauch vorbereiten

Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie das Gerät vor der ersten Verwendung 8 Stunden lang laden.

Vorbereitung

Reinigen Sie Ihr Gesicht vor jeder Anwendung, und trocknen Sie es sanft ab, bis es ganz trocken ist.

1 Drücken Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter, um das Gerät einzuschalten (Abb. 6).

2 Wenn Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal verwenden, testen Sie den Anwendungsaufsatz auf Ihrem

Unterarm, bevor Sie ihn im Gesicht verwenden. Führen Sie das Gerät über den Arm,
und warten Sie dann ungefähr eine Stunde. Wenn eine eventuell aufgetretene Hautreaktion
dann abklingt, können Sie den Aufsatz sicher im Gesicht verwenden.

Hinweis: Überprüfen Sie den Anwendungsaufsatz vor jedem Gebrauch auf mögliche Schäden. Ein beschädigter
Anwendungsaufsatz kratzt Ihre Haut auf. Wenn der Anwendungsaufsatz beschädigt ist, ersetzen Sie ihn.

Hinweis: Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht ohne den Anwendungsaufsatz, da dies keine Vorteile für Ihre

3 Berühren Sie Ihr Gesicht so mit dem Anwendungsaufsatz, dass Sie die Saugwirkung fühlen.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass immer vollständiger Hautkontakt zwischen dem
Anwendungsaufsatz und dem zu behandelnden Bereich besteht. Drücken Sie den
Anwendungsaufsatz jedoch nicht zu fest auf die Haut (Abb. 7).

4 Bewegen Sie den Anwendungsaufsatz sanft in geraden Linien. Beginnen Sie am Kinn, und

führen Sie das Gerät dann zu den Wangen, zur Stirn und zur Nase. Vergewissern Sie sich,
dass Sie alle Bereiche behandeln.

Tipp: Straffen und halten Sie die Haut mit der anderen Hand und führen Sie das Gerät von Ihrer Hand
weg. So ist es leichter, die richtige Saugwirkung zu erhalten, besonders auf den Schläfen und Wangen.

Bewegen Sie das Gerät nicht über große Muttermale, Tätowierungen, Feuermale oder Permanent Make-up.

Behandeln Sie nicht die Haut unterhalb und oberhalb der Augen, da sie zu dünn und empndlich

ist. Wenn Sie die feinen Linien neben den Augen behandeln, bedecken Sie das Augenlid mit einem
Finger der anderen Hand, und bewegen Sie das Gerät vom Finger aus in Richtung Schläfe.

5 Behandeln Sie anfangs jeden Bereich 2 - 4 Mal, abhängig vom Zustand Ihrer Haut. Wenn Ihre

Haut sich an die Behandlung gewöhnt hat, steigern die die Häugkeit auf 4 - 6 Mal, oder

beginnen Sie, den normalen Behandlungsaufsatz zu verwenden. Wenn Sie den normalen
Behandlungsaufsatz verwenden, behandeln Sie anfangs jeden Bereich 3 - 4 Mal. Wenn Ihre

Haut sich an die Behandlung gewöhnt hat, steigern die die Häugkeit auf 4 - 6 Mal.

6 Wenn Sie alle Bereiche behandelt haben, drücken Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter, um das Gerät

auszuschalten. Eine vollständige Behandlung dauert ungefähr 5 Minuten (Abb. 8).

Je nach Hauttyp, spüren Sie möglicherweise ein warmes und kribbelndes Gefühl, und Ihre Haut rötet
sich unter Umständen. Hierbei handelt es sich nur um einen vorübergehenden Effekt, der innerhalb

von fünf bis zehn Minuten wieder abklingen sollte.

Tipp: In Bereichen, in denen es schwieriger ist, vollen Hautkontakt herzustellen, wie z. B. auf der Stirn,
versuchen Sie, das Gerät anders zu halten. Versuchen Sie es mit vertikalen und horizontalen Bewegungen,

um den besten Weg zu nden, den richtigen Kontakt zur Haut herzustellen. Sie können Ihre Hand auch
ruhig halten und stattdessen den Kopf bewegen.

Wenn Sie einen Schaden am Gerät vermuten (z. B. wenn es herunter gefallen ist oder gestoßen
wurde), untersuchen Sie den Anwendungsaufsatz vorsichtig. Wenn der Aufsatz beschädigt ist, ersetzen
Sie ihn. Verwenden Sie keinen beschädigten Anwendungsaufsatz, da dieser Kratzer verursachen kann.

Nach der Behandlung

Tragen Sie nach der Behandlung eine Pegemaske, Tages- oder Nachtcreme auf, und stellen Sie
sicher, dass Sie Sonnenschutz verwenden, wenn Sie nach draußen gehen. Verwenden Sie drei Tage
lang kein anderes mechanisches oder chemisches Peeling. Unterziehen Sie sich in den drei Tagen
nach der Anwendung des Geräts keiner Elektrolyse oder Gesichtsenthaarung, und verwenden Sie
keine Haarentfernungsmittel. Make-Up kann sofort nach der Behandlung aufgetragen werden.

Reinigung und Wartung

Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser. Verwenden Sie keine Chemikalien, um das Gerät zu
reinigen. Verwenden Sie niemals Scheuerschwämme, Scheuermittel oder aggressive Flüssigkeiten
wie Benzin oder Azeton zum Reinigen des Geräts.

1 Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist, bevor Sie mit dem Reinigen beginnen (Abb. 6).

2 Nehmen Sie den Anwendungsaufsatz vom Gerät. (Abb. 9)

3 Reinigen Sie den Anwendungsaufsatz unter ießendem heißem Wasser und etwas Spülmittel.

Wenn der Peeling-Ring schmutzig ist, lassen Sie den Aufsatz in heißem Wasser mit Spülmittel
fünf bis zehn Minuten lang einweichen. Sie können die Bürste zur Reinigung verwenden.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie den Filter reinigen, wenn der Anwendungsaufsatz umgedreht
ist, um den restlichen Schmutz abzuspülen. Trocknen Sie den Anwendungsaufsatz mit einem
fusselfreien Handtuch, oder lassen Sie ihn an der Luft trocknen (Abb. 10).

4 Reinigen Sie den Griff mit einem feuchten Tuch (Abb. 11).

5 Setzen Sie den trockenen Anwendungsaufsatz wieder auf das Gerät.

6 Wischen Sie die Ladestation mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.

Gefahr: Halten Sie Gerät und Ladestation immer trocken. Spülen Sie sie nie unter ießendem

Wasser ab, und tauchen Sie sie niemals in Wasser.

Reinigen Sie den Anwendungsaufsatz nach jedem Gebrauch aus hygienischen Gründen und um ein
Verstopfen des Filters zu verhindern. Verwenden Sie nur Spülmittel oder eine Alkohollösung
(max. 70 %) zum Reinigen des Anwendungsaufsatzes.

Aufbewahrung

Avant utilisation

3 Placez l’embout sur votre visage an de sentir l’aspiration. Assurez-vous que l’embout est

4 Déplacez doucement l’embout selon des lignes droites. Commencez par le menton,

puis remontez vers les joues, le front et le nez. Veillez à couvrir toutes les zones.

Conseil : Utilisez votre autre main pour tendre et maintenir la peau, et déplacez l’appareil en l’éloignant
de votre main. Cette manière de faire facilite l’aspiration, en particulier sur les tempes et les joues.

5 En fonction de votre type de peau, commencez par utiliser le produit sur chaque zone entre

2 à 4 reprises. Lorsque votre peau est habituée à son utilisation, passez à 4 à 6 passages ou
commencez à utiliser l’embout « normal ». Si vous utilisez l’embout « normal », commencez
par 3 à 4 passages sur chaque zone. Une fois que votre peau est habituée à l’utilisation du
produit, passez à 4 à 6 passages.

6 Lorsque vous avez utilisé l’appareil sur toutes les zones, appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt

pour éteindre l’appareil. Une séance complète dure environ 5 minutes (g. 8).

Selon votre type de peau, vous pouvez ressentir une sensation chaude de picotement et votre peau peut
devenir légèrement rouge. Il s’agit d’un effet temporaire, qui devrait s’atténuer au bout de 5 à 10 minutes.

Après la séance

Après la séance, appliquez un masque, une crème de jour ou une crème de nuit, et veillez à utiliser
une protection solaire si vous sortez. N’utilisez aucune autre méthode d’exfoliation mécanique ou
chimique pendant 3 jours. Ne vous soumettez pas à une électrolyse ou une épilation à la cire du
visage et n’utilisez pas de crèmes dépilatoires dans les 3 jours suivant l’utilisation de l’appareil.
Vous pouvez vous maquiller immédiatement après la séance.

Nettoyage et entretien

Ne plongez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau. N’utilisez pas de produits chimiques pour nettoyer
l’appareil. N’utilisez jamais de tampons à récurer, de produits de nettoyage abrasifs ou de liquides
agressifs tels que de l’essence ou de l’acétone pour nettoyer l’appareil.

jamais sous l’eau du robinet et ne les immergez pas dans l’eau.

Pour des raisons d’hygiène, nettoyez l’embout après chaque séance an d’éviter que le ltre ne se
bouche. Utilisez uniquement du savon ou une solution à base d’alcool (maximum 70 %) pour

Attenzione

- Non utilizzate l’apparecchio per nessun altro scopo se non quello di massaggiare e rimuovere

delicatamente lo strato in supercie di pelle morta per velocizzare il ricambio normale della pelle.

- Non utilizzate l’apparecchio più di due volte a settimana, onde evitare irritazioni della pelle.

- Non utilizzate l’apparecchio con creme esfolianti o con peeling chimici o meccanici, onde evitare
danni all’apparecchio e alla pelle.

- Ricaricate, utilizzate e riponete l’apparecchio a una temperatura compresa tra 5 °C e 35 °C.

- Caricate completamente l’apparecchio almeno ogni 3 mesi per preservare la durata delle batteria.

VisaCare ottimizza l’assorbimento delle vostre creme e maschere per il viso. A causa di questo tipo

di assorbimento superiore, è possibile che si verichi una irritazione della pelle. Vi consigliamo

pertanto di non cambiare crema durante le prime 2-4 settimane di utilizzo di VisaCare. Quando
iniziate ad utilizzare una nuova crema dopo questo lasso di tempo, testatela prima su una piccola
parte della pelle. Non continuate ad utilizzare questa crema in caso di irritazioni cutanee avverse in
presenza di applicazione sulla pelle trattata con VisaCare. Quando iniziate il trattamento, o lo

riniziate dopo una pausa di oltre 2 settimane, iniziate nuovamente con l’accessorio “Sensitive”
(Sensibile). In questo modo la vostra pelle si abituerà nuovamente al trattamento.

Controindicazioni e altre avvertenze

Questo apparecchio è stato sviluppato per gestire i primi segni di invecchiamento del viso.

Dal momento che lo strato di epidermide diventa sempre più sottile con il passare degli anni a

causa di fattori esterni e interni, la pelle ruvida e i segni di fotolesione diventano sempre più evidenti.

Non utilizzate l’apparecchio:

- In caso di infezioni della pelle, ferite aperte, orticarie, bruciature, scottature da sole,
inammazioni, eczema, psoriasi, acne rosacea, infezioni attive come herpes o eruzioni di acne

nelle aree da trattare.

- In caso di nei atipici, tatuaggi, nevi vinosi, trucco permanente o qualsiasi altra irritazione della
pelle nelle aree da trattare.

- Se la vostra pelle deve ancora ristabilirsi a seguito di un trattamento cosmetico, ad esempio un peeling
chimico o meccanico, un rinnovamento cutaneo al laser, un trattamento al laser frazionale, una
mesoterapia o qualsiasi altro trattamento con dermoriempitivi nelle due settimane precedenti.

- Se assumete medicinali che potrebbero avere effetti sulla pelle, come steroidi o farmaci per

l’acne (Accutane, Isotretinoine o Roaccutane). Consultate il vostro medico.

- In caso di presenza di verruche. Non provate a eliminarle con questo apparecchio. Potrebbero ampliarsi.

- In caso di cicatrici, consultate il medico o il dermatologo prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio.

- In combinazione con qualsiasi altro sistema per la cura della pelle in casa che contenga
ingredienti attivi per il peeling.

Consigli generali

- Dopo ogni trattamento, è consigliabile utilizzare un fattore di protezione solare (SPF) 30 o
superiore sulle aree trattate per almeno 3 giorni.

- In caso di pelle in gravi condizioni (tra cui ma non limitatamente a: melanoma, basalioma,

cheratosi solare, melasma, lupus eritematoso sistemico, porria, anomalie della coagulazione e

del collagene come ferite da cheloide, formazione eccessiva di cicatrici o episodi di cattiva

guarigione delle ferite), consultate il medico prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio.

- Se pensate di esporvi al sole (ad esempio durante le vacanze estive), consigliamo di
interrompere il trattamento una settimana prima delle vacanze e per tutto il periodo di
esposizione al sole.

Come ricaricare l’apparecchio

Ricarica dell’apparecchio

La ricarica dell’apparecchio richiede circa 8 ore. Un apparecchio a piena carica ha un’autonomia di
funzionamento senza lo di 30 minuti.

1 Controllate che l’apparecchio sia spento.

2 Inserite lo spinotto nella presa del supporto di ricarica e l’adattatore nella presa di

corrente (g. 2).

3 Posizionate l’apparecchio sul supporto di ricarica (g. 3).

Indicazione di “batteria scarica”

Se la batteria è quasi scarica, la spia di ricarica lampeggia in ambra per 4 secondi durante l’uso e
dopo aver spento l’apparecchio. La batteria contiene ancora abbastanza energia per un trattamento

completo di 5 minuti. Quando la batteria è completamente scarica, l’apparecchio si spegne
automaticamente e la spia di ricarica lampeggia in ambra molto rapidamente. È consigliabile
ricaricare l’apparecchio subito dopo l’uso.

Predisposizione dell’apparecchio

Assicuratevi di aver caricato l’apparecchio per 8 ore prima di utilizzarlo per la prima volta.

Preparazione

Modalità d’uso dell’apparecchio

Nota: utilizzate l’apparecchio due volte a settimana. Usare l’apparecchio più spesso potrebbe causare
irritazione della pelle.

1 Premete il pulsante on/off per accendere l’apparecchio (g. 6).

2 Quando utilizzate l’apparecchio per la prima volta, provate l’accessorio per il trattamento

sull’avambraccio prima di applicarlo sul viso. Passate l’apparecchio e poi aspettate circa
un’ora. Se riscontrate una reazione cutanea che pian piano scompare, potete utilizzare
l’accessorio sul viso senza alcun rischio.

Nota: prima dell’uso, controllate sempre che l’accessorio per il trattamento non sia danneggiato.

Un accessorio per il trattamento danneggiato grafa la pelle. Se l’accessorio per il trattamento è

danneggiato, sostituitelo.
Nota: non utilizzate l’apparecchio senza l’accessorio per il trattamento poiché fa male alla pelle e

potrebbe causare una reazione cutanea indesiderata.

3 Posizionate l’accessorio per il trattamento sul viso in modo tale da sentire l’aspirazione.

Assicuratevi che l’accessorio per il trattamento sia sempre a pieno contatto con l’area da
trattare. Tuttavia, non applicate troppa pressione con l’accessorio per il trattamento sulla

supercie della pelle (g. 7).

4 Muovete delicatamente l’accessorio per il trattamento con movimenti dritti. Iniziate dal mento

e spostatevi quindi sulle guance, sulla fronte e sul naso. Assicuratevi di trattare tutte le aree.

Consiglio: usate l’altra mano per tenere la pelle tesa e muovete l’apparecchio lontano dalla mano. Questa

chimico per 3 giorni. Non sottoponetevi a elettrolisi, ceretta del viso e non utilizzate depilatori nei 3 giorni
successivi all’uso dell’apparecchio. Potete applicare il trucco subito dopo il trattamento.

Pulizia e manutenzione

aggressivi come benzina o acetone.

Pulite l’accessorio per il trattamento dopo ogni uso per motivi di igiene e per prevenire l’ostruzione

del ltro. Per la pulizia dell’accessorio per il trattamento, utilizzate solo detergente per piatti o una
soluzione a base di alcol (max. 70%).

Conservazione

Riponete l’apparecchio con l’accessorio per il trattamento inserito nel supporto di ricarica o nell’astuccio.

Il trattamento potrebbe causare lieve rossore subito dopo l’applicazione.

Durante il trattamento è possibile provare una sensazione di calore e

solletico. Generalmente, questi effetti scompaiono dopo qualche minuto

e sono avvertiti come piacevoli. È possibile riscontrare una pelle secca o

screpolata, rossore prolungato o gonore. In tal caso, potreste aver

esercitato troppa pressione con l’apparecchio sulla pelle oppure avete

trattato la stessa area per troppo tempo. Provate a esercitare meno

pressione con l’apparecchio durante il successivo trattamento o trattate

l’area per meno volte. In casi rari, l’apparecchio potrebbe causare lividi o

bolle, graf o cambiamenti della pigmentazione. Quasi tutte le reazioni

cutanee scompariranno entro una settimana, il cambiamento della

pigmentazione diminuirà entro diverse settimane o pochi mesi.

Per evitare i possibili effetti collaterali, utilizzate una crema da giorno con

fattore di protezione solare o una protezione solare dopo il trattamento,

in modo da prevenire scottature. L’apparecchio è stato testato ed è stato

dichiarato sicuro per l’utilizzo nelle modalità descritte nel manuale

met hartpacemakers of andere apparaten die in het lichaam zijn geïmplanteerd, mogen niet te

dicht in de buurt van magneten komen. Dergelijke personen moeten een specialist raadplegen

voordat zij magneten hanteren of hiermee in contact komen.

Let op

- Gebruik het apparaat alleen voor massage en het voorzichtig verwijderen van de dode bovenste
huidlaag om de normale huidvernieuwing te versnellen.

- Gebruik het apparaat niet vaker dan tweemaal per week, om huidirritatie te voorkomen.

- Gebruik het apparaat niet in combinatie met (scrub)crèmes of met chemische of mechanische
peelings, anders kunnen uw huid en het apparaat beschadigd raken.

- Bewaar, gebruik en laad het apparaat op bij een temperatuur tussen 5 °C en 35 °C.

- Laad het apparaat ten minste iedere 3 maanden helemaal op om de levensduur van de accu te
verlengen.

VisaCare zorgt ervoor dat uw crèmes en gezichtsmaskers beter door uw huid worden opgenomen.

Daardoor kunnen huidreacties optreden. U wordt geadviseerd niet van crème te wisselen tijdens de

eerste 2 tot 4 weken dat u VisaCare gebruikt. Wanneer u na deze periode een nieuwe crème gaat

gebruiken, raden wij u aan deze crème eerst te testen op een klein deel van uw huid. Blijf de nieuwe
crème niet gebruiken als er huidreacties optreden op de met VisaCare behandelde huid. Begin met

de gevoelige kop als u uw huid voor het eerst gaat behandelen of als u VisaCare meer dan 2 weken
niet hebt gebruikt, zodat uw huid weer kan wennen aan de behandeling.

Contra-indicaties en andere waarschuwingen

Dit apparaat is ontwikkeld om de eerste tekenen van gezichtsveroudering tegen te gaan. Omdat de

opperhuid in de loop van de jaren dunner wordt door extrinsieke en intrinsieke factoren,
worden een ruwe huid en tekenen van veroudering steeds beter zichtbaar. Het apparaat is bedoeld

voor behandeling van de gezichtshuid (niet voor de huid rondom de ogen).

Gebruik dit apparaat niet:

- Als u huidinfecties hebt, open wonden, uitslag, brandwonden, zonnebrand, ontsteking, eczeem, psoriasis,
rosacea, actieve infecties zoals herpes of actieve acne-uitbraken in de te behandelen gebieden.

- Als u grote moedervlekken, tatoeages, wijnvlekken, permanente make-up of huidirritatie hebt in
de gebieden die u wilt behandelen.

- Als uw huid nog aan het herstellen is van een cosmetische behandeling, zoals een chemische of
mechanische peeling, laserresurfacing, behandeling met fractionele laser of mesotherapie of
andere behandelingen met huidvullers in de afgelopen twee weken.

- Als u medicijnen gebruikt die invloed hebben op uw huid, zoals steroïden of acnemedicatie

(Accutane, Isotretinoïne of Roaccutane), raadpleeg dan uw arts.

- Als u wratten hebt. Probeer deze niet te verwijderen met het apparaat; de wratten kunnen
worden uitgespreid.

- Als u littekens hebt. Raadpleeg uw arts of dermatoloog voordat u het apparaat gaat gebruiken.

- In combinatie met een ander huidverzorgingssysteem voor thuis dat een actief scrubelement bevat.

Algemeen advies

- Wij raden u aan om in ieder geval de eerste drie dagen na elke behandeling een
zonnebrandcrème met minimaal factor 30 te gebruiken op de behandelde gebieden.

- Als u lijdt aan een signicante huidaandoening (inclusief, maar niet beperkt tot, melanoom,
basaalcelcarcinoom, actinische keratose, melasma, systemische lupus erythematodes, porfyrie,
stollingsafwijking en collageenafwijkingen zoals keloïden, buitensporige littekenformatie of een

geschiedenis van slechte wondgenezing), raadpleeg uw dokter voordat u het apparaat gebruikt.

- Als u van plan bent van de zon te genieten (bijvoorbeeld tijdens de zomervakantie), raden we u
aan de behandeling te onderbreken vanaf één week voorafgaand aan de vakantie en gedurende
de gehele periode waarin u veel in de zon komt.

Elektromagnetische velden (EMV)

Dit Philips-apparaat voldoet aan alle toepasbare richtlijnen en voorschriften met betrekking tot

blootstelling aan elektromagnetische velden.

Opladen

Het apparaat opladen

Het duurt ongeveer 8 uur om het apparaat op te laden. Een volledig opgeladen apparaat kunt u
maximaal 30 minuten snoerloos gebruiken.

1 Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat is uitgeschakeld.

2 Steek de kleine stekker in het contact van de oplaadhouder en steek de adapter in het

stopcontact (g. 2).

3 Plaats het apparaat in de oplaadstandaard (g. 3).

, Het oplaadlampje knippert wit om aan te geven dat het apparaat wordt opgeladen. (g. 4)
, Wanneer de accu helemaal is opgeladen, brandt het oplaadlampje 30 minuten ononderbroken

wit. Na 30 minuten gaat het oplaadlampje uit (g. 5).

Opmerking: U kunt het apparaat gebruiken voordat de accu helemaal is opgeladen. De prestaties en
gebruiksduur zijn in dat geval echter niet optimaal.

’Accu bijna leeg’-indicatie

Wanneer de accu bijna leeg is, knippert het oplaadlampje 4 seconden lang oranje tijdens gebruik en nadat

u het apparaat hebt uitgeschakeld. De accu bevat nog steeds voldoende energie voor een volledige

behandeling van vijf minuten. Wanneer de accu volledig leeg is, schakelt het apparaat automatisch uit en
gaat het oplaadlampje oranje knipperen. We raden u aan het apparaat meteen na gebruik op te laden.

Klaarmaken voor gebruik

Laad het apparaat 8 uur op voordat u het voor de eerste keer gebruikt.

Voorbereiding

Reinig en droog uw gezicht.

Opmerking: Het apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor droog gebruik. Gebruik het niet op een natte huid of
in de douche of badkuip.

Opmerking: Gebruik de QR-code op de voorzijde of volg de koppeling om de onlinevideo over het juiste
gebruik van het apparaat te bekijken.

Het apparaat gebruiken

Opmerking: Gebruik het apparaat tweemaal per week. Vaker gebruiken kan huidirritatie veroorzaken.

1 Druk op de aan/uitknop om het apparaat in te schakelen (g. 6).

2 Test de behandelkop eerst op uw onderarm voordat u het apparaat voor de eerste keer op

uw gezicht gebruikt. Behandel een klein huidoppervlak met het apparaat en wacht ongeveer
een uur. Als een eventuele huidreactie vermindert, kunt u de behandelkop veilig op uw
gezicht gebruiken.

Opmerking: Controleer voor gebruik altijd of de behandelkop beschadigd is. Een beschadigde behandelkop
veroorzaakt schrammen op uw huid. Als de behandelkop beschadigd is, moet u deze vervangen.

Opmerking: Gebruik het apparaat niet zonder de behandelkop, omdat dit niet goed is voor de huid en
een ongewenste huidreactie kan veroorzaken.

3 Zet de behandelkop op uw gezicht zodat u de zuigkracht voelt. Zorg ervoor dat er altijd

volledig huidcontact is tussen de behandelkop en het te behandelen gebied. Duw de

behandelkop echter niet hard op de huid (g. 7).

4 Beweeg de behandelkop zachtjes en in rechte lijnen. Begin bij de kin en ga dan naar de

wangen, het voorhoofd en de neus. Zorg ervoor dat alle gebieden worden behandeld.

Tip: Gebruik uw andere hand om de huid strak te trekken en te houden en beweeg het apparaat weg van uw
hand. Dit maakt het gemakkelijker om een goede zuigwerking te bereiken, met name op de slapen en de wangen.
Zie de afbeeldingen achter in de gebruiksaanwijzing voor meer informatie over hoe u het apparaat over uw
gezicht moet bewegen.

Gebruik het apparaat niet op grote moedervlekken, tatoeages, wijnvlekken of permanente make-up.

Behandel de huid rondom de ogen niet; deze huid is dun en gevoelig. Wanneer u de lijntjes naast
uw ogen behandelt, plaats dan een vinger van uw andere hand in de hoek van uw ooglid en
beweeg het apparaat richting uw slaap.

Opmerking: Houd de behandelkop niet op één plek, wanneer u deze op de huid hebt geplaatst.

5 Behandel elk gebied in het begin 2 tot 4 keer, afhankelijk van de conditie van uw huid.

Wanneer uw huid aan de behandeling gewend is, kunt u elk gebied 4 tot 6 keer behandelen
of de normale behandelkop gaan gebruiken. Behandel elk gebied 3 tot 4 keer wanneer u de
normale behandelkop gaat gebruiken. Wanneer uw huid aan de behandeling gewend is, kunt u
elk gebied 4 tot 6 keer behandelen.

6 Wanneer u alle gebieden hebt behandeld, drukt u op de aan/uitknop om het apparaat uit te

schakelen. Een volledige behandeling duurt ongeveer 5 minuten (g. 8).

Afhankelijk van uw huidtype kunt u een warm en tintelend gevoel ervaren en kan uw huid enigszins

rood worden. Dit is slechts een tijdelijke reactie die binnen 5-10 minuten zou moeten afnemen.

Tip: Probeer op gebieden waar volledig huidcontact moeilijker te realiseren is, zoals het voorhoofd, het
apparaat op een andere manier vast te houden. Probeer met verticaal en horizontale bewegingen de
beste manier te vinden om goed contact met uw huid te krijgen. U kunt ook uw hand stilhouden en in
plaats daarvan uw hoofd bewegen.

Bekijk de behandelkop nauwkeurig als u vermoedt dat het apparaat beschadigd is geraakt
(bijvoorbeeld nadat het gevallen is of ergens tegen aangestoten is). Vervang de behandelkop als
deze is beschadigd. Gebruik geen beschadigde behandelkop; dit kan schrammen veroorzaken.

Na de behandeling

Breng na de behandeling een voedend masker, dag- of nachtcrème aan en zorg ervoor dat uw huid

beschermd is tegen de zon wanneer u naar buiten gaat. Gebruik gedurende drie dagen geen andere
mechanische of chemische scrubmethode. Onderga in de drie dagen nadat u het apparaat hebt
gebruikt geen elektrolyse- of harsbehandeling en gebruik geen ontharingsmiddelen voor het gezicht.
U kunt direct na de behandeling make-up aanbrengen.

Reiniging en onderhoud

Dompel het apparaat niet onder in water. Gebruik geen chemische middelen om het apparaat
schoon te maken. Gebruik nooit schuursponsjes, schurende schoonmaakmiddelen of agressieve
vloeistoffen zoals benzine of aceton om het apparaat schoon te maken.

1 Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat uitgeschakeld is voordat u het gaat reinigen (g. 6).

2 Verwijder de behandelkop van het apparaat. (g. 9)

3 Maak de behandelkop onder de kraan schoon met warm water en een beetje afwasmiddel.

Als de scrubring vuil is, laat u deze 5 tot 10 minuten weken in warm water met een beetje
afwasmiddel. U kunt het borsteltje gebruiken om de scrubring schoon te maken. Maak het

lter schoon met de behandelkop ondersteboven om vuil dat in het lter is achtergebleven

weg te spoelen. Droog de behandelkop met een pluisvrije doek of laat de behandelkop aan

de lucht drogen (g. 10).

4 Maak het handvat schoon met een vochtige doek (g. 11).

5 Plaats de droge behandelkop terug op het apparaat.

6 Veeg de oplaadvoet af met een vochtige doek.

Gevaar: Houd de adapter en de oplaadvoet altijd droog. Spoel ze nooit af onder de kraan en
dompel ze nooit in water.

Maak de behandelkop na elk gebruik schoon, om hygiënische redenen en om verstopping van het

lter te voorkomen. Gebruik alleen afwasmiddel of een alcoholoplossing (max 70%) om de

behandelkop schoon te maken.

Opbergen

Berg het apparaat met de bevestigde behandelkop op in het etui of op de oplaadvoet.

Opmerking: Zorg ervoor dat de behandelkop droog is voordat u deze op het apparaat of in het etui plaatst.

Vervanging

Een versleten en schurende behandelkop kan tot huidirritatie leiden. Vervang de behandelkop
daarom elke zes maanden of eerder als de kop vervormd of beschadigd is. Op onze website zijn
vervangende behandelkoppen verkrijgbaar. De behandelkop is te herkennen aan de productcode.

Zorg ervoor dat u het apparaat aansluit op een werkend stopcontact.
Controleer of de spanning die op het apparaat staat aangegeven
overeenkomt met de lokale netspanning. Controleer of u het apparaat
goed op de oplaadvoet hebt geplaatst. Als u een stopcontact in een
badkamerkast gebruikt, kan het nodig zijn het licht aan te doen om het
stopcontact te activeren. Als het lampje op het apparaat nog steeds niet
gaat branden of wanneer het apparaat nog niet oplaadt, neem dan
contact op met het Philips Consumer Care Centre.

Laad het apparaat op volgens de instructies in deze gebruiksaanwijzing.

Controleer of er een stroomstoring is en of het stopcontact werkt.
Controleer of het oplaadlampje op het apparaat brandt om te
controleren of het apparaat oplaadt. Controleer of u de aan/uitknop
goed hebt ingedrukt. Neem contact op met het Philips Consumer Care
Centre als het apparaat nog steeds niet werkt.

Dit is een veiligheidsmaatregel. Het apparaat hoort niet te werken
tijdens het opladen. Laad het apparaat gedurende ongeveer 1 uur op

voor een behandeling van 5 minuten.
Gebruik het apparaat alleen op een droge huid. Het apparaat werkt

alleen op een droge huid optimaal.

Deze effecten verdwijnen gewoonlijk binnen enkele minuten en worden

in het algemeen als aangenaam ervaren. Het is mogelijk dat u een droge
of schilferige huid krijgt en dat de roodheid of zwelling langer aanhoudt.

In dat geval hebt u het apparaat mogelijk te hard op uw gezicht gedrukt

of het zelfde gebied te vaak behandeld. Probeer minder druk uit te
oefenen tijdens de volgende behandeling of behandel het gebied minder

vaak. In zeldzame gevallen kan het apparaat een kneuzing of blaar, schram

of pigmentatieverandering veroorzaken. Vrijwel alle huidreacties
verdwijnen binnen een week. Pigmentatieveranderingen verdwijnen
binnen enkele weken of een paar maanden. Om mogelijke bijwerkingen
te voorkomen, kunt u na de behandeling een dagcrème met

zonbeschermingsfactor of een zonnebrandcrème gebruiken. Dit helpt

zonnebrand te voorkomen. Het apparaat is getest en veilig bevonden
wanneer het wordt gebruikt zoals beschreven in de gebruiksaanwijzing.
Medicijnen of producten en hun mogelijke bijwerkingen kunnen per
persoon verschillende reacties voorzaken. Er is altijd een mogelijkheid
dat een zeldzame of voorheen onbekende bijwerking optreedt bij
gebruik van dit apparaat of een ander product. Neem contact op met
het Philips Consumer Care Centre als er een bijwerking optreedt die
hierboven niet wordt vermeld.

Controleer of het lter verstopt zit. Maak de behandelkop schoon onder

de kraan. Als de scrubring vuil is, laat u deze 5 tot 10 minuten weken in
warm water met een beetje afwasmiddel. U kunt het
schoonmaakborsteltje gebruiken om de scrubring schoon te maken.

Maak het lter schoon met de behandelkop ondersteboven om vuil dat in
het lter is achtergebleven weg te spoelen. Droog de behandelkop met

een pluisvrije doek of laat de behandelkop aan de lucht drogen.
Controleer of u de zuigkracht van het apparaat kunt voelen wanneer de
behandelkop is verwijderd: verwijder de behandelkop en schakel het
apparaat in. Wanneer u uw vinger op de opening zet, zou u de zuigkracht
moeten kunnen voelen. Als u geen zuigkracht voelt, is het apparaat
mogelijk defect. Neem contact op met uw Philips Consumer Care Centre.

Houd het apparaat op verschillende manieren vast om te ontdekken
onder welke hoek de behandelkop goed contact maakt met de huid van
het voorhoofd. Beweeg het apparaat langzaam over het voorhoofd.
U kunt ook proberen uw hand stil te houden en in plaats daarvan uw
hoofd te bewegen.
