Radio controlled alarm clock
HR 5791
Service Manual 4822 723 21587 herewith cancels.
GENERAL
For this type number no spare parts will be available in the
after sales period. When the product is defective, it has to be
replaced.
POSSIBLE COMPLAINTS:
If the clock should not receive the radio time transmissions, this
may be caused by:
− the radio function has been switched off deliberately by
keeping the DEMO button pressed down for longer than
10 seconds;
(Press shortly to re-enable radio reception)
− the distance to the transmitter is more than approx. 1500
kilometers;
− the radio transmission is disturbed by a switched-on TV, radio,
computer monitor, microwave oven, etc.;
(Move and/or turn the clock until reception is satisfactory.)
− the transmitter has been put out of operation (for service or
due to bad weather) or is out of order;
− radio reception is affected negatively due to metal shielding,
such as sunblinds, aluminium panelling, reinforcing steel in
concrete.
(Move and/or turn the clock until reception is satisfactory.
If possible, place the clock near a window looking out in the
direction of the transmitter. Let it remain there overnight: during the
night there is less disturbance.)
− radio reception is disturbed as a result of atmosferic
conditions. (“Noise”, “disturbance” due to storm and/or
thunder.)
