Burning position
Single ended, high pressure Mercury vapour lamps consisting of a gas-filled soft glass phosphor coated outerbulb.The arc-tube is filled with mercury amalgam. The new HPL 4 Pro lamp achieves maximum light output and peak luminous efficacy at temperatures as low as 15°C, around the lamp.They are therefore particularly suitable for use in outdoor applications especially for those where group replacement costs have a large influence in descision making.

Features
The range is equipped with standard universal screw caps and 1 or 2 auxiliary electrodes to ensure quick and reliable ignition. The "4" refers to the advised service lifetime of 4 year in public
lighting. HPL 4 Pro exists in 3400° K and
4200°K, has a higher light output,
improved Ra index, extended service lifetime and few early failures compared to the HPL standard range.
