When using an electric appliance,basic precautions should
always be followed,including the following:

Read all instructions before using this appliance.

To reduce the risk of electric shock:

1. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water.
Unplug immediately.

8. Always check rotating discs before use. Do not use this epilator

with damaged or broken discs,as injury may occur.

9. Always attach plug to appliance first,then to outlet.Be certain
that plug is inserted firmly into appliance.To disconnect,slide switch to
OFF position,then remove plug from outlet.

10.To prevent possible damage to the cord,do not wrap cord around the
appliance.

11.An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.

12.When appliance is on,keep it away from the hair on your head, eyelashes,
eyebrows,clothing,brushes,wires and cords to prevent accidents,injury
or damage.

13. Only use epilator on dry legs.Do not use on other body

areas.

14.If you have varicose veins,spots,moles or blemishes,or your skin is
sensitive or irritated,or you have in-grown hairs or the tendency
towards producing in-grown hairs,do not use this appliance.

◗ Please read these instructions completely

before using this appliance.The following
information and precautions are important
when using the epilator:

◗ CAUTION:Methods of removing hair by the

root can cause ingrown hairs and minor skin
injuries.Please consult your doctor if you have
any questions about the use of the appliance.

◗ Do not use the epilator if you suffer from

varicose veins,spots, moles or blemishes, or
when the skin is irritated,or if you have in­grown hairs or the tendency towards
producing in-grown hairs.Consult your
doctor first.

◗ Use of the Satin Ice Epilator may cause

reddening or irritation of the skin.This is a
normal reaction,which should quickly
disappear.However,if irritation remains for
more than three days,consult your doctor.

◗ Any minor injury resulting from hair

removal may allow bacteria to
penetrate the injury site potentially
causing small scars or a change in
pigmentation of the skin.The risk of
infection may be minimized by
thoroughly cleaning the rotating discs
before and/or after each use (see
Maintenance section).

◗ The Epilator should only be used after prior

consultation with your doctor if you have or
experience:

- Open wounds

- Eczema,psoriasis (scaly eczema),inflamed skin
reactions such as folliculitis,skin rashes or the
tendency to allergy or allergic reactions

- Body acne

- Immune deficiency or disorders

- Couperose,rosacea, or varicose veins

- Pregnancy

- Reduced skin immunity as results of diabetes,
pregnancy,Raynaud's disease, etc.

- Hemophilia

- If you have moles,raised skin bumps,etc.

◗ If you have been or begin taking hormone

medication,or have recently been pregnant,a
change in your hormone levels may influence
the thickness,color or amount of hair growth.
This is caused by the hormonal changes,not
by this method of hair removal.

◗ When removing hair from the area

behind knees,be sure to keep skin
stretched tightly to prevent pinching of
the skin by the rotating discs.

◗ When using the Epilator for the first time,you

may feel some discomfort,irritation or
experience reddening of the skin.This is
because the hairs are actually removed at the
root.The discomfort you feel will tend to
lessen with successive uses.You may wish to
remove hair in the evening so if any reddening
occurs it will diminish overnight.

◗ Use only the cord provided.
◗ Clean appliance regularly following

MAINTENANCE instructions.

Removal System can remove unwanted hairs
quickly,easily and effectively.The combination
of the proven epilating disc system with the
newly developed skin cooler constitutes a
revolution in epilation.Thanks to the natural
numbing effect of ice on the skin,the new
Satin Ice Epilator makes epilation more
comfortable.

◗ Even short hairs are removed at the root by

the quick rotating discs. Any regrowth of
hairs tends to be softer - minimizing stubble.
Your legs will stay silky smooth and hair-free
for weeks.

◗ To acquaint yourself with how the Satin Ice

Epilator works,be certain to read the
instructions and important information
contained in this booklet before using for the
first time.Satin Ice Epilator with the unique
skin cooler the choice for smooth,silky
results that lasts for weeks!

◗ Only use on dry legs. Do not use

HP6433 on other body areas.

◗ As the hairs are being removed by the root,

your skin may feel a little discomfort after
using the Satin Ice Epilator system for the first
time.This effect will gradually lessen with each
use.

◗ After epilation,regrowth of hairs tends to be

softer both in appearance and in touch.

◗ After each use, you may want to apply a non-

alcohol based mild cream or body lotion
which helps reduce the possibility of skin
irritation.

Freezing the skin cooler

1 Put the skin cooler without the protective

sleeve in the freezer cassette and put it in
the freezer or freezing compartment for at
least 2 hours before you start epilating.

Make sure the outside of the skin cooler is
completely dry before you freeze it.

◗ Make sure your skin is clean,free from grease

and creams.Do not apply any cream before
using.Hairs are easier to remove after a bath
or shower;but your skin should be
completely dry before using your Satin Ice
Epilator System.

◗ If you are using the appliance for the first

time,it is recommended that you begin at an

Epilating the legs

Make sure your skin is clean and free of grease
and cream.Do not use cream right before you
start epilating.

1 Remove skin cooler from freezer cassette.

Slide the protective sleeve onto the frozen
skin cooler.

2 Snap the skin cooler onto the appliance.
3 Put the plug into any 120V AC electrical

outlet.

4 Switch the appliance ON by selecting the

desired speed.

Speed I:for areas with little hair growth and/or
with bones directly beneath the skin (such as
knees and ankles).
Speed II:for larger areas and/or areas with a
thicker hair growth.

5 Stretch your skin tight with your free hand

to make the hairs stand upright.

6 Place the appliance on the skin at a right

angle,with the cord pointing towards you,
and gently move it slowly over the skin
against the direction of hair growth.

Make sure both the epilating discs and the skin
cooler touch your skin.
Do not press the appliance onto the skin.

7 Be sure to stretch your leg when you

8 Switch the appliance OFF by setting the

speed selector to position O.

◗ The Epilator is for use on dry legs only.
◗ Note:If you choose to use a cream or

moisturizing lotion after use, be certain
it does not contain alcohol as it may
cause discomfort,or irritation.

◗ IMPORTANT:After using the Satin Ice

Epilator some redness or irritation may
occur.This is normal and should
disappear quickly.Clean the appliance
regularly following MAINTENANCE
instructions.

Cleaning the appliance

Do not use any corrosive detergents,scouring
pads or cloths,petrol, acetone etc.

1 Switch the appliance OFF by setting the

switch to ‘O’ and remove the plug from
the outlet.

2 Remove the skin cooler.

moist cloth.

Make sure the outside of the skin cooler is
completely dry before you put it in the provided
protective casette.Return the protective
casette,with the skin cooler inside, to the freezer.

5 Remove the epilating head.

Press the ribbed sections and slide the epilating
head off the appliance in the direction of the
arrow.

6 Clean all accessible parts and the epilating

discs with the brush.

Never try to detach the epilating discs from the
appliance.

1 Put the protective cap back onto the

appliance after use.

2 Store the appliance and the accessories in

the pouch.

3 Put the skin cooler in the freezer cassette

and put this cassette in the freezer or in
the freezing compartment.

◗ ADVERTENCIA :Los métodos que

eliminan el vello de raíz pueden dar lugar a
que el vello crezca hacia dentro y a pequeñas
lesiones en la piel.Consulte a su médico si
tiene cualquier pregunta sobre el uso del
aparato.

◗ No use el cabezal depilador si tiene venas

varicosas,manchas o lunares,ni cuando tenga
la piel irritada,o si tiene vello que haya
crecido hacia dentro o tiene tendencia a ello.
Consulte primero a su médico.

◗ El uso de la Depiladora Satin ice puede

causar enrojecimiento o irritación de la piel.
Esta es una reacción normal que desaparecerá
rápidamente.Sin embargo,si la irritación le
dura más de 3 días,consulte a su médico.

◗ Cualquier pequeña lesión resultante de

la eliminación del vello puede permitir
la penetración de bacterias en el lugar
de la lesión,con la posibilidad de
originar pequeñas cicatrices o un
cambio en la pigmentación de la piel.El

◗ Si ha tomado o empezado a tomar

medicación hormonal,o ha quedado
embarazada recientemente,un cambio en sus
niveles hormonales puede tener influencia en
el grosor, color y crecimiento del vello.Ello es
debido a los cambios hormonales,y no a este
método de eliminación del vello.

◗ Cuando elimine el vello de la zona

posterior de las rodillas,asegúrese de
mantener la piel bien tirante para evitar
que los discos rotativos la pellizquen.

◗ Cuando usen la Depiladora por vez primera,

notarán un poco de incomodidad o irritación,
o experimentarán un enrojecimiento de la
piel.Ello es debido a que el vello es realmente
eliminado de raíz.La incomodidad que
notarán tenderá a disminuir en usos
sucesivos.Pueden optar por eliminar el vello
al anochecer,con lo cual,si aparece algún
enrojecimiento,éste disminuirá durante la
noche.

◗ Use sólo el cable de red que se suministra.
◗ Limpie regularmente el aparato,siguiendo las

instrucciones de la sección "Mantenimiento".

deseado de forma rápida,fácil y eficaz. La
combinación del probado sistema depilador
de disco,con el recientemente diseñado
Aplicador de Frío Anestesiante,constituye una
revolución en el depilado.Gracias al efecto
natural adormecedor del hielo sobre la piel,la
nueva Depiladora Satin ice hace que la
depilación sea más confortable.

◗ Incluso el vello más corto es eliminado de raíz

por los rápidos discos rotativos,y el vello que
vuelva a salir tenderá a ser mas débil -no más
piernas ásperas.Sus piernas permanecerán
suaves y sin vello durante semanas.

◗ Antes de usarla por vez primera, y para

familiarizarse con el funcionamiento de la

Antes de usarla

acostumbrarse a usar la Depiladora Satin ice,
es recomendable que empiece por una zona
con poco vello.

◗ Usela sólo en piernas secas. No la use en

otras zonas del cuerpo.

◗ Dado que el vello es eliminado de raíz,puede

notar una ligera molestia en su piel después
de haber usado por vez primera el Sistema
Depilador Satin ice.Este efecto irá
disminuyendo gradualmente con cada uso.

◗ Después de la depilación,el vello que vuelva a

salir tenderá a ser más débil tanto en su
apariencia como al tacto.

◗ Después de cada uso puede aplicarse,si lo

desea,una crema o loción corporal suave (sin
alcohol),lo cual le ayudará a reducir la
posibilidad de irritación de la piel.

Cómo congelar el Aplicador de Frío

1 Ponga el Aplicador de Frío (sin el mango

protector) en el estuche congelador,e
introdúzcalo en el congelador del
frigorífico durante,al menos,2 horas antes
de empezar a depilarse.

◗ Asegúrese de que su piel esté limpia y libre de

grasa y cremas.No se aplique ninguna crema
antes de usarla.El vello es más fácil de
eliminar después de un baño o ducha,pero su
piel debe estar completamente seca antes de
usar su Sistema Depilador Satin ice.

Antes de congelarlo,asegúrese de que el exterior
del Aplicador de Frío esté completamente seco.

◗ Consejo:Puede guardar permanentemente el

Aplicador de Frío en el congelador.

Cómo depilarse las piernas

7 Asegúrese de estirar su pierna cuando

Asegúrese de que su piel esté limpia y sin grasas
ni cremas.No se aplique ninguna crema
inmediatamente antes de la depilación.

3 Enchufe el aparato a una red de 120 V AC

4 Ponga el aparato en marcha (On)

seleccionando la velocidad deseada.

Velocidad I: Para zonas donde el vello crece más
fino y/o con huesos directamente bajo la piel
(como rodillas y tobillos).
Velocidad II: Para zonas más amplias y/o zonas
con vello más grueso.

5 Con su mano libre,mantenga la piel tirante

para hacer que el vello se levante.

8 Pare detener el depilator lleve el selector

de velocidad a la posición 0.

◗ La Depiladora es para usarla sólo sobre

piernas secas.

◗ Nota :Si decide aplicarse una crema o

loción hidratante después de usarla,
asegúrese de que no contenga alcohol,
ya que ello podría causarle molestias.

◗ IMPORTANTE : Después de usar la

Depiladora Satin ice puede aparecer
alguna irritación o enrojecimiento.Ello
es normal y desaparecerá rápidamente.
Limpie regularmente el aparato
siguiendo las instrucciones de la sección
"Mantenimiento."

6 Coloque el depilator en ángulo recto

sobre su piel,con el cable de red

apuntando hacia Ud.,y muévalo suave y

lentamente en dirección contraria a la de

crecimiento del vello para evitar que el

éste crezca hacia dentro.

Asegúrese de que tanto el Aplicador de Frío
como los discos depiladores tocan su piel.
No presione el aparato contra la piel.

No use ningún detergente corrosivo,ni
almohadillas o paños abrasivos,gasolina, acetona
etc.

1 Pare el depilator llevando el selector de

velocidad a la posición ‘O’ y desenchúfelo
de la red.

2 Quite el Aplicador de Frío.

3 Deslizándolo,saque el mango protector

del Aplicador de Frío.

4 Limpie el Aplicador de Frío y el mango

protector bajo el grifo o con un paño

húmedo.

Asegúrese de que el exterior del Aplicador de
Frío esté completamente seco antes de ponerlo
en el congelador.

1 Después del uso,vuelva a poner la tapa

protectora en el aparato.

2 Guarde el aparato y los accesorios en la

bolsa.

3 Coloque el Aplicador de Frío en el estuche

congelador y ponga el estuche en el
congelador del frigorífico.

cabezal depilador fuera del aparato en la
dirección de la flecha.

6 Limpie todas las partes accesibles y los

No trate nunca de desmontar los discos
depiladores del aparato.

7 Deslizándolo,vuelva a montar el cabezal

depilador en el aparato en dirección

contraria a la de la flecha

El cabezal depilador sólo puede montarse de una
forma en el aparato.
