Voltage / frequency : 100, 120 - 127, 220 - 240 V
50 - 60 Hz
Power consumption : 110 - 110 V, 1200 Watts at 100 V
120 - 127 V, 1450 Watts at 120 V 220 - 240 V, 1600 Watts at 230 V
Sole plate temperature :215±25°C
Steam output : Variable steam output max. 20 gr/min when :
- slide is set to position 6
- temperature dial is set to position MAX.
Turbo steam output :
Always to be used in combination with the variable steam slide, increases the steam output with max 10 gr/min to a total of 30 gr/min.
Shot Of Steam : 60 gr/min
This product meets the requirements regarding interference
suppression on radio and TV.
Turbo steam function :
The steam output of the variable steam function depends upon the position of the slide knob. When set to postition 6 the steam output is 20 gr/min. This might be not sufficient. In that case the turbo button has to be pushed down for max 10 sec. Due to this operation the steam output will increase to 30 gr/min.
Vertical steam :
When the iron is kept in vertical position, the s.o.s button can be used to iron hanging fabrics as curtains.
Self-clean function :
When the self-clean button is pushed down, a sudden flow of water is released from the tank into the heated sole plate. This thermal shock will cause scale particles come loose from the steam chamber. These particles are then flushed out through the steam vents by the water.
Anti-drip :
Water is only released through the tank valve into the steam chamber if the sole plate temperature is high enough to evaporate all water. If the temperature is not hot enough the tank valve is closed by means of the bi-metal disc.
Auto shut-off :
A relay in the electronic module interrupts the power to the heating element when the iron has been motionless in :
- for 30 seconds in horizontal position.
- for 8 minutes in vertical position The red “ Auto off ” pilot light starts blinking. For the 220-240 Volts version only, a sound signal is heard too. When the iron is moved again, it’s automatically switches on again. N.B. When the iron is plugged in in horizontal position, it will not be
switched off during the first 2 minutes to ensure that it heats up properly.
Real-off function
The movement of the thermostat’s bi-metal is limited in downward direction thus will prevent the thermostat contacts from closing at room temperature at MIN setting.
