For each smaller cup, you take one level (flat)
measuring spoonful.
• Use fast-filter ground coffee. If you grind the
coffee yourself, do not grind it to a fine powder.
- (Fig. 4.) Place the filter assembly (with cover)
on to the insulated flask and put the insulated
flask in the appliance.
- (Fig. 5.) Switch the appliance on. The pilot light
will come on and the brewing process begins.
• Automatic shut-off.
For your convenience, and also for extra safety:
the coffee maker switches off
automatically when the coffee is
ready (fig. 6.)
- (Fig. 7.) When the last coffee has dripped out of
the filter, you can take the insulated flask with
filter assembly out of the appliance.
- (Fig. 8.) Take the filter assembly off the
insulated flask.
- (Fig. 9.) Put the lid on the insulated flask. Close
the flask by turning the lid clockwise.
- (Fig. 10.) Throw away the used paper filter and
the ground coffee.
- (Fig. 11.) Put the lid of the insulated flask into
the pouring position by turning it back half a
turn (anti-clockwise). The dot will then point
towards the spout of the flask.

- do not clean the glass inner tube with harsh or abrasive cleaning agents;
- when the glass inner tube is still hot, do not rinse it with cold water;
- do not clean the insulated flask in a dishwasher.
• To prevent water entering the insulation chamber of the insulated flask:
