If the traffic light of the Optimus control desk
indicates red even though the TTS temperatures are in the low ranges there must be a problem with the
tube temperature switch supervision.
cutout of drawing Z1-3.3 kV control
A voltage of 1.7 … 3.3 VDC must be present at the input of kV-control EZ130 (or measure at the temp switch
decade pin 6) to get the green traffic light LED on leading to a ready state.
With AgenT one can also check the status of the tube housing temperature switch supervision signal:
The good condition is “closed”.
Two conditions lead to a red traffic light indication:
1) The voltage of the TH_OL_SW/ signal is below 1.7VDC.
The AgenT screen indicates “short circuit” for the tube temp switch condition.
An error code 00TB might be logged.
Possible reasons:
Defective cable, short to ground.
Short-circuit at micro-switches in tube housing.
Defective measuring circuit on kV-control PCB EZ130.
2) The voltage of the TH_OL_SW/ signal is > 3.3VDC.
The AgenT screen indicates “open” for the tube temp switch condition.
No error is logged.
Possible reasons:
Open connection anywhere between the tube temp switch decade and the tube housing microswitches.
Defective measuring circuit on kV-control PCB EZ130.
