DivX Ultra Certified

With DivX support, you can enjoy DivX encoded videos in the comfort of your living room. The DivX media format is an MPEG4based video compression technology that enables you to save large files such as movies, trailers and music videos on media, e.g. CD-R/ RW and DVD recordable discs. DivX Ultra combines DivX playback with great features including integrated subtitles, multiple audio languages, multiple tracks and menus into one convenient file format.

Plays it all

curves. Together with a 24-bit resolution, more information is captured from the original analogue sound wave form, giving a much richer audio reproduction.

HDMI 1080i

HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface. It is a direct digital connection that can carry digital HD video as well as digital multi-channel audio. By eliminating the conversion to analogue signals it delivers perfect picture and sound quality, completely free from noise. HDMI is fully backwardscompatible with DVI (Digital Video Interface).

High definition JPEG playback

High definition JPEG playback lets you view your pictures on your television in resolutions as high as two megapixels. Now you can view your digital pictures in absolute clarity, without loss of quality or detail - and share them with friends and family in the comfort of your living room.

Progressive Scan

Play virtually any media format you want whether it is DivX, MP3, WMA or JPEG. Experience the unbeatable convenience of great playability, and the luxury of sharing media files on your TV or home theatre system

- in the comfort of your living room.

192 kHz/24-bit audio DAC

192 kHz sampling enables you to have an accurate representation of the original sound

HDMI for simple AV connection

Progressive Scan doubles the vertical resolution of the image resulting in a noticeably sharper picture. Instead of sending a field comprising the odd lines to the screen first, followed by the field with the even lines, it writes both fields at the same time. A full image is created instantaneously, using the maximum resolution. At such a speed, your eye perceives a sharper picture with no line structure.
