Connect the base station
1. Place the base station in a central location near the telephone line socket and electricity socket.

Make a call

Dial the number (maximum 24 digits) and press r or v. OR
r or v to take the line, and dial the phone number.

Answer a call

When the phone rings, press r or v.

End a call

To end a call, press e.

Adjust the earpiece or speaker’s volume

During a call, press u or d to adjust the volume. Press OK to confirm. The earpiece or speakerís volume is adjusted and the phone goes back to the call screen.

Set your handset’s ring melody

1. Press m.
2. Select
PERSONAL SET > HANDSET TONES > RING TONES. Press OK.

Save a phonebook record

1. Press m.
2. Select
PHONEBOOK > NEW ENTRY. Press OK.

1. Press d in standby.

Listen to new messages recorded on the answering machine (for CD455/SE455)

Press o on the base station to turn on the answering machine (the LED is turned on).
The outgoing message is played.

p on the base station to play phone messages (the first recorded message

R to go back to the previous message (if pressed within 1 second of current
message playback).

R to replay current message (if pressed after 1 second of current message

Troubleshooting
