This display has a resolution that is referred to

Full HD. The state-of-the-art LCD screen
technology has the full high-definition
widescreen resolution of 1080 progressive
lines, each with 1920 pixels. This allows the
best possible picture quality for HD input

brilliant flicker-free progressive scan pictures
with optimum brightness and superb colors.

Perfect Pixel HD Engine
Perfect Pixel HD Engine offers the unique
combinatio
detail, vivid colors and smooth natural motion
on all qualities of HD, standard TV signals and
n of ultimate sharpness, natural
multimedia content, for high definition displays.
Each pixel of the incoming picture is enhanced
to better match the surrounding pixels,
resulting in a more natural picture. Artifacts
and noise in all sources from multimedia to
standard TV and also in highly compressed HD
content are detected and reduced ensuring
that the picture is clean and razor sharp.
120Hz Clear LCD
120Hz Clear LCD creates extreme motion
sharpness for cle
with fast on-screen motion. The Double Frame
Rate Insertion works with a high 120Hz
refresh rate. It increases the sharpness of
motion reproduction to more than twice that
of conventional LCD, resulting in a response
time of 3 milliseconds (measured in Perceived
Blurr-Edge-Width; BEW). This unique Philips
technology brings motion sharpness of LCD
displays to an unprecedented level.
Ambilight 2 channel
Ambilight makes an impressive contribution to
th
e overall viewing experience by producing
ambient light to complement the colors and
light intensity of the on-screen image. It adds a
new dimension to the viewing experience,
completely immersing you into the content
you are watching. It creates ambiance,
ar and vibrant images even
stimulates more relaxed viewing, and improves
perceived picture detail, contrast and color.
Ambilight automatically and independently
adapts its colors according to the changing
content on the screen.
USB Multimedia Connector
The USB connector allows access to

ultimedia jpg, mp3 and alb files of most USBsticks and most digital cameras (USB 1.1
memory-class device). Plug the USB into the
slot at the side of the TV and access your
photos or music files. This makes you easily
viewing and sharing your photos and music.
3 HDMI inputs
HDMI makes an uncompressed digital RGB
c
onnection from the source to the screen. By
eliminating conversion to an analog signal, it
delivers an unblemished image. The nondegraded signal reduces flicker and leads to a
clearer picture. HDMI intelligently
communicates the highest output resolution
with the source device. The HDMI input is fully
backward compatible with DVI sources but
includes digital audio. HDMI uses HDCP copy
protection. With 3 HDMI inputs you can
connect multiple HD sources, for instance an
HD settop box, and a Blu-ray player. Your TV
is fully prepared for the HD future.
