Les téléviseurs à petite taille d’écran sont équipés d’une

antenne d’intérieur. Dans certaines conditions,
la réception peut être difficile. Vous pouvez l’améliorer
en faisant tourner et en variant l’angle d’antenne.
Si la réception reste médiocre, il faut utiliser une antenne
extérieure.
Branchez le cordon d'alimentation sur le secteur

(220-240 V / 50 Hz).
Utilisez les 2 piles de type LR03 fournies et veillez à bien

respecter les polarités.
Pour allumer le téléviseur, appuyez sur la touche marche-arrêt.

apparaît, le programme est mémorisé.
Recommencez les étapes 3 à 5 pour
chaque programme à mémoriser.

Vous obtenez :
Le téléviseur s’éteint, le voyant reste allumé en rouge.
Pour remettre le téléviseur en marche, appuyez sur P .
Le numéro s’affiche à l’écran, le programme inférieur (-) ou supérieur (+)
est sélectionné.
Le numéro s’affiche, le programme est sélectionné.
Pour un programme à 2 chiffres, il faut ajouter le deuxième chiffre avant
que le trait ne disparaisse.
Le volume sonore est modifié.
Supprime ou rétablit le son.
En appuyant plusieurs fois vous accédez aux réglages: a (volume),
b (balance), 0 (lumière),1 (contraste), 2 (couleur) et = (arrêt
programmé).
Modifie le menu sélectionné. Pour la fonction arrêt programmé (=),
vous devez ajuster la durée au bout de laquelle le téléviseur passera
a u t o m a t i q u e m e n t en veille (de 0 à 90 minutes).
D’abord affichez un menu : a, b, 0, 1, ou 2, puis appuyez sur
les deux touches N Q. L’indication S T O R E D (mémorisé) apparaît.
L’ensemble des réglages du menu est mémorisé, sauf l’arrêt programmé.
Les réglages mémorisés sont rappelés.
Pour afficher ou effacer le numéro de programme et le temps restant
de l’arrêt programmé.
Mode Son
En appuyant plusieurs fois, vous pouvez forcer le son STEREO en
MONO ou accéder au choix du langage f ou g(émissions bilingues).
Autres Fonctions
• Télétexte
Appel télétexte.
Appuyez sur pour appeler/quitter le télétexte.
Un sommaire apparaît avec la liste des rubriques
auxquelles vous pouvez accéder.
Si la chaîne ne diffuse pas le télétexte, l’écran reste noir.
Sélection d’une page.
Composez le numéro de page désiré avec les touches
numérotées de à (toujours 3 chiffres).
Le numéro s’affiche en haut à gauche, le compteur
tourne puis la page est affichée.
Vous pouvez également sélectionner la page inférieure
ou supérieure avec les touches P .
Si le compteur continue de tourner ou si l’indication P ? . .
apparaît, la page n’est pas disponible.
Arrêt de l’alternance des sous-pages.
Certaines pages contiennent des sous-pages qui se
succèdent automatiquement.
Appuyez sur pour arrêter / reprendre l’alternance.
Agrandissement de page.
Appuyez plusieurs fois sur pour agrandir la page.
Informations cachées.
Appuyez sur pour faire apparaître ou disparaître
les informations cachées (jeux, etc).
• Touches du téléviseur
Le téléviseur possède 3 ou 4 touches (selon les modèles,
elles peuvent se situer sous un volet).
Versions 3 touches: une touche M e n u et les touches -e t
+ pour sélectionner les programmes ou régler les menus.
Versions 4 touches: 2 touches VOLUME - et +
et 2 touches PROGRAM - et +.
• Raccordements d’autres appareils
Utilisez la prise péritélévision située à l’arrière.
Pour reproduire l’image des appareils connectés,
appuyez sur la touche (AV apparaît à l’écran).
• Casque
La prise casque se trouve en face avant du téléviseur
(selon les modèles, elle peut se situer sous un volet).
Lorsque le casque est connecté le son du téléviseur est
automatiquement coupé. Utilisez les touches a
de la télécommande pour régler le volume.

Small-screen TV sets are supplied with an indoor antenna,

which under certain reception conditions may not be
acceptable. You may be able to improve reception by rotating
the antenna or if reception remains poor the use of an
external antenna.
Plug your television into the mains supply

The TV set switches off, the light is red.
To turn on the TV set, press the P keys.
The number is displayed on the screen, the previous (-) or next (+)
programme is selected.

For a 2-digit number, the second digit must be added before the line
disappears.
Volume is changed.
Switches sound on or off.
By pressing the menu button several times the following items can be
adjusted: a (volume),b (balance), 0 (brightness), 1 (contrast),
2 (colour) and = (sleeptimer).
This modifies the menu item selected. Using the sleeptimer function
(=), you can adjust the time after which the TV set will automatically
switch into standby mode (up to 90 minutes).
Firstly, display a menu : a, b, 0, 1, or 2, then press the two
N Q keys. STORED appears. All menu adjustments are stored, except
for the sleeptimer.
Recall your stored adjustments.
To turn on or off the display of the programme number and remaining
time on the timer.
Sound mode
Alternates between STEREO and MONO or language f and g for
bilingual programmes.
Other functions
• Teletext
Teletext request.
Press to turn teletext on or off. A main index
appears with the list of items to which you have access.
If the channel does not have teletext, the screen remains
black.
Selecting a page.
Enter the number of the page you wish to consult
using the numbered keys to (always three digits).
The page number appears in the top left-hand corner,
the counter searches then the page is displayed.
You may also select the previous and next page using
the P keys.
If the counter continues searching or if P?.. appears,
the page is not available.
Stopping the sequence of sub-pages.
Certain pages contain sub-pages which follow on
automatically.
Press to stop / resume the sequence.
Enlarging a page.
Press several times to enlarge the page.
Hidden information.
Press to reveal hidden information (in games, etc.).
Pressing the button a second time will again hide the
information.
• TV set keys
The TV set has 3 or 4 keys (on some models these are
located behind a flap).
Versions with 3 keys: A Menu key and - and + keys to
select programs and adjust menus.
Versions with 4 keys: two VOLUME - and + keys and
two PROGRAM - and + keys.
• Connecting other appliances
Use the euroconnector socket located at the back of the set.
To reproduce the picture from connected appliances,
press the key (AV appears on the screen).
• Headphones
The headphone socket is on the front of the TV set
(depending on version, it may be concealed by a
cover).When the headphones are connected, the sound
from the TV set is muted. Use the a key on the
remote control to adjust the volume.

Conseils
Installation : Pour prévenir toute situation
dangereuse et tout défaut de fonctionnement, ne rien
poser sur le téléviseur et laisser un espace libre d'au
moins 5 cm. autour de l'appareil.
Mauvaise ou absence d’image : La proximité de
montagnes ou de hauts immeubles peut être la cause
d’images dédoublées, d’échos ou d’ombres.
Dans ce cas, modifiez l’orientation de l’antenne.
Avez vous correctement connecté l’antenne ?
Veille : Pour économiser de l’énergie et préserver un
qualité optimale de l’image (grâce à la démagnétisation
du tube), il est conseillé d’éteindre le téléviseur avec la
touche marche-arrêt située à l’avant du téléviseur.
Tips
Installation : To avoid any dangerous situations and
operating faults, do not place anything on the TV set
and leave a space of at least 5 cm around the appliance.
Poor picture quality: The proximity of mountains
or high buildings may be responsible for ghost
pictures, echoes or shadows. If this is the case, change
the orientation of the antenna.
Have you remembered to connect the aerial socket ?
Standby : To save energy and preserve optimum
picture quality (by demagnetising the tube), you are
advised to switch off your TV set using the on/off
button at the front of the TV set.
Directives pour le recyclage : Les piles livrées

Veillez à ne pas jeter vos piles usagées mais à utiliser les
moyens de recyclage mis à votre disposition (consultez
votre revendeur).
Votre téléviseur utilise des matériaux réutilisables ou
qui peuvent être recyclés. Pour minimiser les déchets
dans l’environnement, des entreprises spécialisées
récupèrent les appareils usagés pour les démonter et
concentrer les matières réutilisables.
En cas de panne, n’essayez jamais de réparer vous même
le téléviseur, mais consultez le service après vente.
Recycling directive : To minimise harm to the
environment, the batteries supplied with the appliance
do not contain mercury or nickel cadmium. When
disposing of batteries, if possible use recycling means
available to you (contact your dealer).
Your TV set makes use of reusable and recyclable
materials. To minimise harm to the environment,
specialist companies will recover used TV sets for
dismantling and collection of reusable materials.
In the event of a breakdown, under no circumstances
attempt to repair the TV set yourself, contact your dealer.

Information for users in the UK
(Not applicable outside the UK)
Positioning the TV
For the best results, choose a position where light does
not fall directly on the screen, and at some distance
away from radiators or other sources of heat. Leave a
space of at least 5 cm all around the TV for ventilation,
making sure that curtains, cupboards etc. cannot
obstruct the air flow through the ventilation apertures.
The TV is intended for use in a domestic environment
only and should never be operated or stored in
excessively hot or humid atmospheres.
General Points
Please take note of the section 'General Information' at
the end of the English section in this booklet.
Interference
The Department of Trade and Industry operates a Radio
Interference Investigation Service to help TV licence
holders improve reception of BBC and IBA programmes
where they are being spoilt by interference.
If your dealer cannot help, ask at a main Post Office for
the booklet "How to Improve Television and Radio
Reception".
Mains connection
Before connecting the TV to the mains, check that the
mains supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed
on the type plate on the rear panel of the TV. If the
mains voltage is different, consult your dealer.
Important
This apparatus is fitted with an approved moulded 13
Amp plug.
To change a fuse in this type of plug proceed as follows:
1. Remove fuse cover and fuse.
2. Fit new fuse which should be a BS1362 5A, A.S.T.A.
or BSI approved type.
3. Refit the fuse cover.
If the fitted plug is not suitable for your socket outlets, it
should be cut off and appropriate plug fitted in its place.
If the mains plug contains a fuse, this should have a
value of 5A.
If a plug without a fuse is used, the fuse at the
distribution board should not be greater than 5A.
Note : The severed plug must be destroyed to avoid a
possible shock hazard should it be inserted into a
13A socket elsewhere.
The BLUE wire must be connected to the terminal
1.
which is marked with the letter "N" or coloured BLACK.
2. The BROWN wire must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter "L" or coloured RED.
3.
Do not connect either wires to the earth terminal in the
plug which is marked by the letter "E" or by the safety
earth symbol l or coloured green or green-and-yellow.
Before replacing the plug cover, make certain that the
cord grip is clamped over the sheath of the lead - not
simply over the two wires.
Connecting the aerial
The aerial should be connected to the socket marked g
at the back of the set. An inferior aerial is likely to result
in a poor, perhaps unstable picture with ghost images
and lack of contrast. Make-shift loft or set-top aerials are
often inadequate. Your dealer will know from experience
the most suitable type for your locality.
Should you wish to use the set in conjunction with other
equipment, which connects to the aerial socket such as
TV games, or a video camera it is recommended that
these be connected via a combiner unit to avoid repeated
connection and disconnection of the aerial plug.
Loop aerial (if provided)
The loop aerial packed with the set will give satisfactory
reception under good signal conditions. Fit the aerial
bracket and lead by pushing the peg into the square
hole in the backcover until it latches in place. Attach the
ends of the loop to the mounting studs on the bracket
and fit and tighten the knurled nuts. Then insert the plug
on the lead into the aerial socket.
Fitting the stand (if provided)
Use only the stand provided with the set, making
sure that the fixings are properly tightened. A
diagram showing how to assemble the stand is
packed in the castor bag. Never use a make-shift
stand, or legs fixed with woodscrews.
In some models only, in order to fit the stand it may be
necessary to remove the feet with the key provided (see
illustration).
How to connect a plug
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance
with the following code : BLUE - "NEUTRAL" ("N")
BROWN - "LIVE" ("L")
To fit the stand remove the feet on the TV using the
key supplied (see illustration).
