BASIC OPERATION
Communication between user and set takes place on the screen through operator menu.
Press Menu key, main menu with list of submenus will appear on the screen.

1) PICTURE MENU
Press menu key to display picture menu. Then press
CH+/CH- or / key to enter into it.
This menu has several settings which allow you to control
the picture quality. User can select any parameter in
picture menu by pressing CH+/CH- or / key and
adjust it to desired setting by VOL+/VOL- or / key.
CONTRAST : User can adjust contrast to set contrast
level of the picture which is displayed on TV screen.
BRIGHTNESS : User can adjust brightness to set
bright level of the picture which is displayed on TV
screen.
COLOUR : User can adjust colour set colors of the
picture which is displayed on TV screen.
TINT : This is applicable for NTSC playback only.
SHARPNESS : User can adjust sharpness to set
sharpness level of the picture which is displayed on the
screen.
COLOUR TONE : It allows you to adjust the background
colour of the picture from red to blue or vice versa.
DNR (Digital Noise Reducer) : This feature will appear
as you scroll down the cursor in picture menu. If the
signal received by TV is weak, you can activate Noise
Reduce feature to reduce any static and ghosting that
may appear on the screen.
BLK STRETCH : This feature gives more black effect.

2) SOUND MENU
Press menu key to display main menu. Then select the
sound submenu by Press VOL+/VOL- or / key and
press CH+/CH- / key to enter into it.
User can select any parameter in sound menu by
pressing CH+/CH- or / key and adjust it to desired
setting by VOL+/VOL- or / key.
MUSIC MODE : User can use music mode to listen the
audio without picture.
AVL (Automatic Volume Leveler) : User can use this
option to automatically adjust the volume level. AVL
lowers the sound output when sound modulation is high
or increase sound output when sound modulation is low.

3) TUNING MENU :
INSTALL
Press menu key to display main menu. Then select the
tuning submenu by VOL+/ VOL- or / key and press
CH+/CH- or / key to enter into it.
User can select any parameter in tuning menu by
pressing CH+/CH- or / key and adjust it to desired
setting by VOL+/VOL- or / key.
CH No. : You can see program number in TUNING menu
and by using VOL+/- key you can select next/previous
channel.
CH SKIP : You can skip unwanted programs with this
feature. The skipped programs will not be selected by
CHANNEL UP / DOWN key on remote or TV set, but it
can be selected by pressing skipped program no. by
direct digit selection keys on remote. The program no.
colour in info OSD will change to red for skipped
channel indication. To unskip the channel, select CH
SKIP in TUNING menu and make it OFF.
FINE TUNE : This allows to fine tune the channels
manually in case of weak or distorted signals. For the fine
tuning, select FINE TUNE in install menu and for
adjustments use VOLUME UP/DOWN key.
CH SEARCH : Using this feature you can easily search
the required channel. It allows manual searching to tune
next or previous channel from current channel.
AUTO SEARCH : This feature is useful to tune all the
channels in the frequency range available to you and
store them. Auto tuning starts from program no. 1. To stop
auto tuning, press MENU or DISPLAYkey. If any
program skips during AUTO SEARCH retune the set
with AUTO SEARCH or CH SEARCH.
COLOUR-SYS : By using VOLUME UP/DOWN key, you
can set colour system in AUTO/NTSC-4.43/NTSC
3.58/PAL mode. Try to change the setting till proper
colour appears in picture.
Note: For India Colour System is AUTO.
SOUND-SYS : Sound system B/G is followed by India.
PLUG N PLAY : When the television is intially powered
on, plug and play is the basic setting that
proceeds automatically. Switch it ON if you need to
tune all the available channels every time after set
switch ON from mains. To stop plug and play press
MENU or DISPLAY key.

4) TIMER MENU
Press menu key to display main menu. Then select the
timer submenu by VOL+/VOL- or / key and press
CH+/CH- or / key to enter into it.
User can select any parameter in timer menu by pressing
CH+/CH- or / key and adjust it to desired setting by
VOL+/VOL- or / key.
CLOCK : You can set time by using 0 to 9 digit keys & can
change AM/PM using VOL+/VOL- or / key.
Clock is stored in standby condition but gets reset after
mains AC power OFF.
ON CH : This function is used to switch the set using
ON TIMER to the required program number.
ON TIMER & OFF TIMER
You can set ON/OFF timer by using 0 to 9 keys. Your TV
set will switch ON/OFF automatically at the time you
select.
DISPLAY : Clock display will appear continuously on the
screen by making display ON & it will disappear by
making Display off.
ALARM : In alarm ON, during OFF timer, GOOD
BYE message is displayed before the set goes to standby.
NOTE- All other options in Timer menu remains
deactivated until we enter clock time.
5) INSTALL MENU :
Press menu key to display main menu. Then select the
Install submenu by VOL+/VOL- or / key and press
CH+/CH- or / key to enter into it.
User can select any parameter in Install menu by
pressing CH+/CH- or / key and adjust it to desired
setting by VOL+/VOL- or / key.
BLUE BACK :
When Blueback is ON and when there is no signal
transmission in TV/ AV mode , the screen is set to a
pleasant blue colour. For watching TV in case of weak
signal reception, you can turn OFF the blueback.
Set switches OFF automatically if the blueback is
present for more than 10 minutes ( approx.).
CHANNEL NO : It displays the current channel being
viewed.
SWAP TO : In SWAP TO, set program number which is
to be swapped with current program by using 0 to 9
keys from remote handset.
SWAP NOW: Select SWAP NOW to swap the
two programs.
LANGUAGE : You can select ENGLISH, HINDI,
MARATHI and GUJRATI language, which will be used
for displaying menus and indications in selected
language.

6) LOCK MENU :
Press & hold Lock key from remote to enter into Lock menu.
This feature prevents unauthorized use of your TV set as
it can be operated only by remote handset.
TV LOCK
This feature is used to lock all the TV operations, when
TV lock is ON, display OSD shows "TV LOCK".
AV LOCK
AV LOCK when set to ON, will lock the AV Operations.
PANEL LOCK
Panel lock when set to ON will lock the front
panel operations and will not allow to do any operation
through it.
VOLUME LOCK
Using this feature, you can set volume at required level
beyond which you do not want to increase further. To
lock the volume make it ON.
NOTE:- When the TV LOCK is switched ON, no other
operation takes place until we unlock the TV.
CH LOCK
Used to lock unwanted channels. Select Lock code and
enter password 9008 (Default). SET Code will appear.
Here set requires user password. It will ask now to enter
lock code. Enter the preseted password. Now you will be
in CH Lock menu with 3 options CH LOCK, LOCK
PROGRAM & STATUS.
CH LOCK when set to ON, selected channels in LOCK
PROGRAM will get locked. CH LOCK will allow you to
lock required channel. STATUS option will allow you to
set status of channel i. e. VIEW or BLOCK. When CH
LOCK is ON, tuning menu gets locked.

2) Mute : Press the MUTE key, MUTE symbol will appear on the screen and the sound will be
switched OFF. You can cancel mute by pressing MUTE key again or by VOLUME UP key.
3) Sleep (Optional) : The sleep timer can set by using SLEEP key on the remote. This feature
can be used to switch off the television automatically after predefined time. You can set the
sleep timer upto 180 minutes.
4) Scan (Optional) : To scan all the tuned programs, press the key marked SCAN on the
remote handset. Press SCAN key to discontinue the scanning.
5) Program Selection
You can select a program number with / key or by directly
pressing 0-9 keys from remote.
6) Volume Adjustment

Press / key to adjust volume level.
7) A/CH (Quick View)
Press the A/CH key to view the last program.
1) Selectable Picture : You can select the type of picture
which best corresponds to your viewing requirements
in which picture settings like Contrast, Brightness, Colour
and Sharpness are adjusted to the levels you prefer.
There are 5 modes-CUSTOM-MOVIE-SPORT-STANDARDGAME of selectable picture can be accessed by direct
key on the remote handset.
NOTE : In Normal use, user is recommended to keep
picture mode settings in 'SPORT' mode for optimum power
consumption.
