Price Pfi ster provides the following Warranties for its products. Proof
of Purchase may be required in order to obtain any of the benefi ts set
forth below.

Limited Warranties: Price Pfi ster warrants that for as long as the original
purchaser owns the home in which the Price Pfi ster product (the “Product”)
is originally installed, the Product will be free of all defects in material
and workmanship that would impair the intended and proper use of the
Product. If the Product is installed in a commercial application, the above
mechanical warranty shall be limited for a period of ten (10) years from the
date of purchase of the Product.

Price Pfi ster warrants against deterioration of the Product’s fi nish for as long
as the original purchaser owns the home in which the Product is originally
installed. If the Product is installed in a commercial application, the above
fi nish warranty for Products that do not contain the Pforever fi nish shall be
limited to a period of fi ve (5) years from the date of purchase.

Exclusive Remedy: In the event of any defect in the Product that breaches
the foregoing warranties, Price Pfi ster, at its option, will repair or replace
the defective part of the Product. Repair or replacement of the Product is
the exclusive remedy.

For any remedy under this warranty, Price Pfi ster is to be notifi ed describing
the problem. In order to notify Price Pfi ster and receive assistance or service
under this warranty, the original purchaser may: (1) call 1-800-Pfaucet
(1-800-732-8238) for a consumer service representative who can assist
you, or (2) write consumer service department c/o Price Pfi ster Inc., 19701
DaVinci, Lake Forest, CA 92610, and include a description of the problem,
model number, your name, address, phone number and approximate date
of purchase, or (3) email Price Pfi ster’s customer service department by
going to www.PricePfi ster.com, or (4) notify the location or distributor
from which the Product was purchased. In any case, you may be required
to return the Product to Price Pfi ster for inspection and proof of purchase
may be required.

Limitations and Exclusions:
PRICE PFISTER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGES
OR LOSSES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INCIDENTAL
AND/OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF THE
LEGAL THEORY ASSERTED, INCLUDING ANY CLAIM OR BREACH
OF WARRANTY HEREUNDER OR ANY OTHER CAUSE, AND
WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT (including negligence
and strict liability).

Price Pfi ster has the right to discontinue or modify any product at any
time. Some states do not allow limitations or exclusions of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not
apply to you. This warranty gives you specifi c legal rights, and you may
also have other rights which vary from state to state.

The above warranties do not cover damage resulting from improper
maintenance, repair, cleaning or installation, misuse, abuse, alterations,
accidents or acts of God.

1 BEFORE PROCEEDING

WARNING: Read all the instructions completely before proceeding.

This product should be installed in accordance with all local and state plumbing
and building codes.

WARNING: This product has been designed for use with the Price Pfi ster
0T8-410 series thermostatic valve. It will not work with any other product.
Please review the 0T8-410 v alve installation instructions before installing this
product.

2 SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLY

Locate water supply inlets and shut of f the water sup ply valves. These ar e
usually found near the water meter. If you are replacing an existing unit, remove
the old unit and clean the mounting surface thoroughly.

3 TOOLS RECOMMENDED

• PTFE plumber's tape or thread sealant

• Phillips head screwdriver • Adjustable wrench • Pipe wrench

• Flashlight • Cloth

Your installation may require additional tools.

5 PLASTERGUARD REMOVAL

Remove Screws (5A), and Plasterguard (5B) from Valve Body (5C). Remove
Set Screw (5D) from Valve Body (5C) and save. Remove Plug (5E) from
Valve Body (5C).

4 CHECKING THE CONTENTS OF THE BOX

Upon opening the box, check to ensure t hat all of the following items are
included.

A Gasket & Trim Flange B Retainer Sleeve
C Temperature Knob D Set Screw
E Button

If any of these items are missing, please contact Price Pfi ster Consumer Service
at 1-800-Pfaucet (1-800-732-8238).

6 FLANGE ATTACHMENT

Place Sleeve (6A) onto Valve Body (6B). Position Sleeve (6A) so that Hole
(6C) is aligned with Valve Hole (6D).
Slide Flange (6E) onto Sleeve (6A) with Drain Hole (6F) at the bottom until is
snug to fi nished wall surface.

7 TEMPERATURE KNOB ATTACHMENT

Lubricate the Cartridge O-Rings (7A) using provided Grease. Insert Knob
Assembly (7B) into Valve Body (7C) aligning the Cartridge Hole (7D) with
Valve Hole (7E). Secure Knob Assembly (7B) using Set Screw (7F).

Caution: Do not over tighten!

8 UNIT START UP

Turn on hot and cold water supplies, and check all connections for leaks.

TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS

• Temperature or Flow does not remain constant

The Cartr idge Assembly (10A) must be cleaned. Shut-off water supply.
Remove Set Screw (10B), and Knob Assembly (10C) from Valve Body (10D).
Inspect inlets for se diment and fl ush with water. Inspect O-R ings (10G) for
damage. Re-insta ll Car tridge A ssembly (10A), and turn on water supply. If
problem persists replace Cartridge Assembly (10A).

CAUTION: Do not disassemble Cartridge (10A).

• Dripping from either the tub spout or shower head.

Clean the Car tr i dg e A ss em bly (10A). Check to ensure the t wo O val O-Rings
(10G) on Cart ridge (10A) are in plac e. Reassemble cartridge, and t rim
assembly and handle. Turn on the water and test. If the unit still leaks, replace
the Cartridge.

• Make sure that both hot and cold water inlets are turned on.

• Water fl ow is very low.

Check the Car tridge A ssembly (10A), for debris. Sedim ent where the water
enters the Shower Head can also cause this symptom.

• Water starts out cold and becomes hotter as handle is rotated clockwise.

This is a potentially hazardous situation and should be corrected before using
the unit. Check the hot and cold inlet positions (hot-left, cold-right).

• Water fl ows from the tub spout while using the shower.

The seal inside of the diverter mechanism may have become dislodged. The
Spout may need replacement.

9 VALVE FUNCTION

By rotating Temperature Knob (9A) clock wise, the water temperature will
decrease to fully c old. The wate r temperatur e can be inc reased by rotat ing
Temperature Knob (9A) counterclockwise.

The Temperature Knob (9A) is regulated for the wate r temperatur e not to to
exceed 100°F (38°C) to prevent burns. To increase the water temperature,
press Button (9B) and rotate the Temperature Knob (9A) in the counterclockwise
direction.

DISASSEMBLY

1. Replacement parts may be available at the store where you purchased
your faucet.

2. When replacement parts are not available, please write or call Price
Pfi ster Consumer Service.

3. Always turn off water and relieve pressure before working on your

faucet.

NOTE: Trim Care

Cleaning Instructions:

For all Handles and decorative fi nishes, use only a soft damp cloth to clean
and shine. Use of polish, detergents, abrasive cleaners, organic solvents or
acid may cause damage. Use of other than a soft damp cloth will nullify

our warranty!
Special Trim:

Trim products which contain Porcelain or other similar substance are not
acceptable for public areas or Commercial use. Installation of Said Trim is
at Users Risk!
