This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you to potential personal injury
hazards. Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid possible

situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.

CAUTION, used without the safety alert symbol, indicates a hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, could result in harm to your pet.

• Risk of explosion. Do not short circuit, mix old and new batteries, dispose of in fire,

or expose to water. When batteries are stored or disposed, they must be protected from
shorting. Dispose of used batteries properly.

• Not for use with aggressive dogs. Do not use this product if your dog is prone to

aggressive behaviour. Aggressive dogs can cause severe injury or death to their owners
and others. If you are not sure that this product is right for your dog, please talk to your
veterinarian or a certified trainer.

• The PetSafe® 350 m & 900 m Deluxe Remote Trainers are not toys. Keep

away from the reach of children. Use it only for its training purpose.

• Safety during on-lead training. It is vitally important that you and your dog remain

safe while learning during on-lead training. Your dog should be on a strong lead, long
enough for him to attempt to chase an object, but short enough for him not to reach a
road or other unsafe area. You must also be physically strong enough to restrain your dog
when he tries to chase.

Risk of skin damage. Please read and follow the instructions in this manual. Proper fit
of the collar is important. A collar worn for too long or made too tight on the pet’s neck may
cause skin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers; this condition is commonly
known as bed sores.

• Avoid leaving the collar on the dog for more than 12 hours per day.

• When possible reposition the collar on the pet’s neck every 1 to 2 hours.

• Check the fit to prevent excessive pressure; follow the instructions in this manual.

• Never connect a lead to the electronic collar; it will cause excessive pressure on the contacts.

• When using a separate collar for a lead, don’t put pressure on the electronic collar.

• Wash the dog’s neck area and the contacts of the collar weekly with a damp cloth.

• Examine the contact area daily for signs of a rash or a sore.

• If a rash or sore is found, discontinue use of the collar until the skin has healed.

• If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, see your veterinarian.

• For additional information on bed sores and pressure necrosis, please visit our website.
These steps will help keep your pet secure and comfortable. Millions of pets are comfortable

while they wear stainless steel contacts. Some pets are sensitive to contact pressure. You may
find after some time that your pet is very tolerant of the collar. If so, you may relax some of
these precautions. It is important to continue daily checks of the contact area. If redness or
sores are found, discontinue use until the skin has fully healed.

How the System Works

Now you can experience the difference a Remote Trainer can make. The PetSafe® 350 m & 900 m
Deluxe Remote Trainers are comfortable for your pet and easy to use with an advanced digital
display that tells you exactly what level of stimulation you are using.

The Remote Trainer assists you in controlling your pet without a lead in a range of either 350 metres
or 900 metres. The Handheld Remote sends a signal activating your dog’s Receiver Collar. He
receives a safe but annoying stimulation. He’ll quickly learn the association between his behaviour
and your training; in no time, you’ll have a better-behaved pet. The PetSafe

350 m & 900 m
Deluxe Remote Trainers have been proven safe, comfortable, and effective for both small and large
dog breeds.

Important: The 350 m & 900 m Deluxe Remote Trainers have a range
of up to 350 metres or 900 metres. Depending on the way you hold
the Handheld Remote, the maximum range may vary. Terrain, weather,
vegetation, transmission from other radio devices, and other factors will
affect the maximum range.

Key Definitions

Handheld Remote: Transmits the signal to the Receiver Collar. It is waterproof.

Digital Display

Level of Stimulation: Shows Dog 1 or Dog 2 level of stimulation
(Low-1 to High-15). Also indicates +2 Boost.

Dog 1: The active Receiver Collar symbol will display to indicate
Dog 1.

Dog 2: Dog 1 and Dog 2 symbols will be displayed (additional
purchase required for 2-Dog system).

Tone: The Stimulation Level will flash when the Tone Button or
Stimulation Button is pressed.

Battery Indicator: The battery indicator provides constant
awareness of your battery’s power level.

1d or 2d: This appears when programming for the 2-Dog mode.

Receiver Collar: Delivers Static or Tone Stimulation on a signal from the Handheld Remote.
Both the 350 m & 900 m Receiver Collars are waterproof.

On/Off Button: Momentarily pressing and holding this button turns the Receiver Collar on
and off.

Contact Points: The contacts through which the Receiver Collar delivers Static Stimulation.
LED: Indicates when the Receiver Collar has been turned on or off and also serves as a

low-battery indicator.
Charging Jacks: For connecting the charger. Although the Handheld Remote and Receiver

Collar are waterproof without the charger covers, keep the covers in place when not charging
to keep debris out of the openings.

Continuous Stimulation: You control when and how long Static Stimulation is delivered to
your dog through the Receiver Collar’s Contact Points. When a Stimulation Button is pressed for
10 seconds or more, the Handheld Remote will “time-out.” The button will need to be released
and pressed again before additional Static Stimulation can be delivered.

STEP 1

Prepare the Handheld Remote

Charge the Handheld Remote

1. Lift the rubber cover protecting the Handheld Remote
Charging Jack.

2. Connect one of the charger connectors to the
Handheld Remote Charging Jack.

3. Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.

4. Charge the Handheld Remote for 5 hours for the first
charge. Recharges take only 3-4 hours. Note: The

Battery Indicator will scroll while charging and will
become solid when fully charged.

5. When charging is completed, replace the rubber cover.

Note: Approximate battery life between charges is 40 to
60 hours, depending on frequency of use.

Turning ON the Handheld Remote

Power up the

Handheld

Remote by pressing any button. The Digital Display turns on when you

press any button.

Handheld Remote Digital Display

The Digital Display stays on for 1 minute after a button is pressed. After 1 minute with no
buttons pressed, the display shuts off and the Handheld Remote goes into battery conservation
mode. Pressing any button will cause the Digital Display to turn back on. The various display
symbols are explained below.

Numeric readout Displays the Stimulation Level for Dog 1 or Dog 2.

Dog 1/ Dog 2 The symbol displayed is the active dog Receiver

Collar. See 2-Dog System on page 17.

Tone or Static
Stimulation

When pressing Tone or Stimulation Buttons, the
Dog 1 or Dog 2 symbol will appear in bold
or emphasised.

Tone Only When pressing Tone Only for Dog 1 or Dog 2 the

number zero appears.

Battery Indicator The Battery Indicator provides constant awareness

of your battery’s power level. See Battery Indicator
for more detailed information.

Note: Factory preset is for Dog 1 mode, you will not see the Dog 2 symbol unless the unit is
programmed for Dog 2 (see 2-Dog System on page 17).

Battery Indicator

Battery is at 2⁄3 to Full capacity.
Handheld Remote is fully functional.

Battery is at 1⁄3 capacity.
Handheld Remote is still fully

When the Battery Indicator shows the low battery symbol (1⁄6 capacity), recharge your
Handheld Remote soon. When the battery outline is displayed, the Handheld Remote’s
battery is unable to power transmissions to the Receiver Collar. The Handheld Remote must be
recharged to regain operation.

Handheld Remote Belt Clip

To remove:

1. Press and hold the Release Lever on the Belt Clip, pulling away from the Handheld Remote.

2. Slide the Belt Clip out of the insert.

To replace:

1. Slide the Belt Clip into the insert until it clicks, locking into place.

is ready to receive a radio signal from the Handheld Remote.

3. Once the Receiver Collar has been turned on, press the Tone Button (upper left - green) of the
Handheld Remote. Upon pressing, the Receiver Collar should beep for as long as the Tone
Button is pressed. If it does not, see “To Pair the Handheld Remote and the Receiver Collar”.

Note: To extend the life of the battery, turn the Receiver Collar off when it is not in use.

To Turn the Receiver Collar Off

1. Press and hold the On/Off Button until the Red LED comes on and the Receiver Collar

beeps high to low.

2. Release the On/Off Button. To extend the life between charging cycles, turn the Receiver

Collar off when it is not in use. Approximate battery life between charges is 40-50 hours,
depending on frequency of use.

Rechargeable Batteries

• The rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries are not memory sensitive and do not require

depletion before charging.

• The batteries come partially charged from the factory, but will require a full charge

(4-5 hours) before the first use.

• Remember—always keep batteries away from flame.

• When storing the unit for long periods, remember to regularly give batteries a full charge

(3-4 hours). This should be done once every 4 to 6 weeks.

• The 350 m & 900 m Deluxe Remote Trainers are equipped with a safety feature to prevent

over charging.

• If your equipment has not been charged for an extended period, you may experience a

decrease in battery life the first few uses. Afterwards, the battery life will return to previous
capacity levels.

• You should expect hundreds of recharge cycles from your batteries. However, all

rechargeable batteries lose capacity over time relative to the number of recharge cycles
they experience. This is normal. If your operating time drops to half of the original life,
contact the Customer Care Centre.

• When a battery needs replacement, contact our Customer Care Centre or visit our website.

Please do not open the Receiver Collar or Handheld Remote.

STEP 3

Fit the Receiver Collar

Important: The proper fit and placement of your Receiver Collar is important for effective
operation. The Contact Points must have direct contact with your dog’s skin on the underside
of his neck.

To assure a proper fit, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure that the Receiver Collar is turned off.

2. Start with your dog standing comfortably (3A).

3. Place the Receiver Collar on your dog’s neck close to the ears. Centre the
Contact Points underneath your dog’s neck, touching the skin (

).

Note: It is sometimes necessary to trim the hair
around the Contact Points to make sure that
contact is consistent.

Do not shave the pet’s neck as this
may increase the risk of skin irritation.

4. Check the tightness of the Receiver Collar by
inserting one finger between the collar and
your dog’s neck (3C). The fit should be snug
but not constricting.

5. Allow your dog to wear the Receiver Collar for
several minutes then recheck the fit. Check the fit
again as your dog becomes more comfortable
with the Receiver Collar.

6. Trim the collar as follows: (3D)

a. Mark the desired length of the collar with a pen.

Allow for growth if your dog is young or grows a
thick winter coat.

b. Remove the Receiver Collar from your dog and

cut off excess.

c. Before placing the Receiver Collar back onto

your dog, seal the edge of the cut collar by applying a flame along the frayed edge.

The Receiver Collar should not be worn for more than 12 hours out of every
24-hour period. Leaving the Receiver Collar on too long could lead to skin
irritation. Please refer to page 3 for additional information.

To Re-Thread the Collar

The slide buckle prevents the collar from
becoming loose around your pet’s neck.

The ridges must be facing up; the collar will
slip if it is not properly threaded.

Customer Care Centre.

To Add Dog 2
Handheld Remote

1. Press the Stimulation Down Button (lower right - grey)
consecutively until “2d” appears on the Digital Display.

2. After the “2d” appears press the +2 Boost Button.

3. Set Dog 1 Stimulation Level to the desired level using the
Stimulation Up and Down Buttons.

4. Press the +2 Boost Button to lock the Stimulation Level for
Dog 1.

5. Set Dog 2 Stimulation Level to the desired level using the
Stimulation Up and Down Buttons.

6. Press the +2 Boost Button to lock the Stimulation Level for
Dog 2.

Dog 2 Receiver Collar

1. With the Receiver Collar off your pet, turn the Receiver Collar off.

2. Press and hold the On/Off Button for 5 seconds.

3. The Receiver Collar will beep and the LED will flash.

4. On the Handheld Remote, press the

Dog 1/Dog 2 Stimulation Levels

To change the Stimulation Level for Dog 1 or Dog 2, press and hold the +2 Boost Button for 5 seconds.
The Dog 1 icon along with it's selected Stimulation Level will appear. You can now use the Upper Right
Button to increase the Stimulation Level for Dog 1 and the Lower Right Button to decrease the Stimulation
Level. Press the +2 Boost Button to lock the Stimulation Level. Now you can adjust the Dog 2 Stimulation
Level using the same method. Press the +2 Boost Button to lock the Stimulation Level and return to normal
2-Dog operation.

Note: To view the currently selected

Stimulation Level

for Dog 1, press the +2 Boost Button once

and the display will show the Dog 1 symbol along with the selected

Stimulation Level

the menu.

To Pair Dog 1 Receiver Collar and the

If your Receiver Collar does not beep when the Upper Left

TRAINING GUIDE

Test the Remote Trainer

We recommend you experience first-hand how the PetSafe® Remote Trainer functions. Always
begin at the lowest level and increase the intensity up to your personal comfort level.

1. Place your fingers on both Contact Points of the Receiver Collar.

2. Hold the Handheld Remote approximately 0.6 metres from the Receiver Collar and press
the Stimulation Up Button to show Level 1 on the Digital Display. Press the Stimulation Button
(yellow). At this level you may not feel the quick on/off Static Stimulation followed by the
controlled Static Stimulation while holding the button down.

Note: An automatic safety time-out will be triggered if any Stimulation Button is held for more
than 10 seconds. Once released, the Stimulation Button resets to normal functionality.

3. Increase the intensity until the sensation begins to feel uncomfortable.

General Tips

Introducing the Remote Trainer: Introduce your PetSafe® Receiver Collar when your dog
graduates from puppy stage and understands basic obedience commands. PetSafe

®

Receiver

Collars should only be used with pets who are over 6 months of age.

Note: Other pets in hearing range will be affected by the training tones. Therefore, training
sessions should be conducted out of hearing range of other pets.

Avoiding a “Collar Wise” dog: Try to avoid letting your dog become “collar wise”,
obeying only when wearing the PetSafe

®

Receiver Collar. Similarly, avoid letting the dog learn
to obey only when seeing the Handheld Remote in your hand. This is easy to prevent (see
“Remain the Leader” in the following “Dog Training Recommendations” section).

Training Sessions & Determining Stimulation Levels: Keep your training sessions short
and watch your dog’s reaction - your pet will tell you what level of Static Stimulation is
appropriate to use and when to release the button. Please refer to “Find the Best Stimulation
Level for Your Pet” for additional information.

Stopping Unwanted Behaviour: When stopping unwanted behaviour, it is suggested to
use higher levels of Static Stimulation - the pet should be convinced that his unacceptable
actions (not you) caused the annoying sensation to happen.

Dogs First Learn One Command: Focus on learning one command before moving on

recommend using low levels of Static Stimulation. The dog quickly learns to turn off or
completely avoid the unpleasant sensation.

Reinforcing Known Commands: To reinforce commands the dog already knows, it is
suggested to use medium Static Stimulation levels. This teaches the dog to respect instructions
by always listening and obeying.

Note: Using praise or treats to reward the correct response is great for encouraging the dog,
but it is suggested you and your family members always remain the dog’s leader.

Not for use with aggressive dogs. Do not use this product if your dog is prone
to aggressive behaviour. Aggressive dogs can cause severe injury or death to
their owners and others. If you are not sure that this product is right for your dog,
please talk to your veterinarian or a certied trainer.

Training Your Pet with Positive Tone

Before using Static Stimulation to train your pet, spend 10 to 15 minutes per day for 2 or 3 days
helping him create the association of the tone with reward and praise. To accomplish this:

1. Push the Tone Button for 2 consecutive seconds.

2. Release the Tone Button and immediately reward your pet with verbal praise, petting, or a
small food reward. Spend 3 to 5 seconds on your rewarding.

3. Wait a few minutes and repeat holding the

Tone Button

for 2 seconds following with praise.

Vary the reward to prevent your pet from anticipating a specific type. This stage of training is
complete when your pet obviously anticipates a reward when he hears the positive tone.

Find the Best Stimulation Level for Your Pet

Important: Always start at the lowest level and work your way up.
The 350 m & 900 m Deluxe Remote Trainers have 15 different Stimulation Levels. This allows

you to choose the Static Stimulation that is best for your pet.
Once you have placed the Receiver Collar on your pet, it is time to find the Stimulation Level

that is best for him. This is called the Recognition Level.
A slight change in your pet’s behaviour, such as looking around in curiosity, scratching at his

collar, or flicking his ears, indicates the Recognition Level that is best for him.
Follow the steps below to find your pet’s Recognition Level:

1. Starting at Level 1 on the Digital Display, press the Stimulation Button continuously for
1 to 2 seconds.

2. If your pet shows no reaction, repeat the Stimulation Level several times before moving up to
the next level.

3. YOUR PET SHOULD NOT VOCALISE OR PANIC WHEN RECEIVING STATIC

STIMULATION. IF THIS HAPPENS, THE STIMULATION LEVEL IS TOO HIGH AND YOU
NEED TO GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS LEVEL AND REPEAT THE PROCESS.

4. Move up through the Stimulation Levels until your pet reliably responds to the Static Stimulation.

5. If your pet continues to show no response at Level 8, check the fit of the Receiver Collar. If your

pet has long or thick hair, contact our Customer Care Centre to obtain a longer set of Contact
Points. Then go back to step number 1 and repeat the process. If this still does not yield any
results, your pet’s hair will need to be trimmed around the Contact Points.

Do not shave the pet’s neck as this may increase the risk of skin irritation.

If all of these steps have been done and your pet continues to show no reaction to the Static
Stimulation, see the “Test Light Instructions” section.

If after completing all of these steps your dog still does not indicate he is feeling the

Static

+2 Boost

A press of the +2 Boost Button (red) sends a signal to the Receiver Collar to issue a Static
Stimulation that is 2 levels higher than the currently selected level. For example, if the
Stimulation Level is set at Level 2, a touch of the +2 Boost Button will send Level 4 Static
Stimulation. Some trainers like instant access to a higher setting for circumstances where the
dog may not respond to lower levels, such as around high distraction. The system will never
exceed the High-15 Stimulation Level.

Dog Training Recommendations

When Training Begins: Training starts the moment you bring your puppy home. While your
dog will not be ready for the PetSafe

®

products until he has matured, you should begin basic

training immediately.
Remain the Leader: Stop your dog from becoming “collar wise”. An easy solution known

as “Collar Conditioning” will help prevent the dog from listening only when wearing the
Receiver Collar and disobeying when he is not wearing it. First, fit the Receiver Collar on your
dog. Second, immediately take your dog outside or do something he enjoys; don’t activate
the Receiver Collar. Let the dog wear it during non-training sessions. Your dog should believe
wearing the Receiver Collar can also result in having fun. It should not be perceived as
punishment. Place the Receiver Collar on and off the dog at various times for short or longer
periods to make wearing it a normal routine. Similarly, don’t let the dog learn to obey only

when he sees the Handheld Remote. Also carry the Handheld Remote, but don’t use it all the
time. How long should this process take? Professional trainers’ opinions vary from a few days
to a couple of weeks.

My pet is not responding
when I press a button.

• Check to see if the Receiver Collar has been turned on.

• If your range has reduced from the first time you have
used it, please check to see if the battery is low in either
the Handheld Remote or Receiver Collar.

• You can verify the Receiver Collar is delivering
Stimulation to your pet by placing the Test Light,
enclosed in your kit, on the Receiver Collar. Please refer
to the “Test Light Instructions” section for details.

• Increase the Static Stimulation Level. Refer to “Find the Best
Stimulation Level For Your Pet” for more information.

• Make sure the Receiver Collar’s Contact Points are
placed snugly against your pet’s skin. Refer to “Fit the
Receiver Collar” for more information.

The Receiver Collar will
not turn on.

• Make sure the Receiver Collar has been charged.
For the initial charge, be sure to charge it for 5 hours.
Subsequent charges only take 3-4 hours.

Test Light Instruction

1. Turn the Receiver Collar on.

2. Hold the Test Light Contacts to the Contact Points.

3. Press a Stimulation button on the Handheld Remote.

4. The Test Light will flash. Note: At higher Stimulation Levels, the Test

Light will flash brighter.

5. Turn the Receiver Collar off.
Save the Test Light for future testing. Note: If the Test Light does not flash,

recharge the battery and re-test. If Test Light still does not flash, contact the Customer Care
Centre or visit our website.

Three Year Non-Transferrable Limited Warranty
What is covered: Radio Systems Australia Pty Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Radio Systems”)

warrants to the original retail purchaser, and not any other purchaser or subsequent owner,
that its product, when subject to normal and proper residential use, will be free from defects in
material or workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the purchase date. An “original
retail consumer purchaser” is a person or entity who originally purchases the Product, or a

by Radio Systems Customer Service, Radio Systems covers labour and parts for the first three

The limited warranty is non-transferrable and shall automatically terminate if the original retail
consumer purchaser resells the Radio Systems product or transfers the property on which the
Radio Systems product is installed. This Limited Warranty excludes accidental damage due to
dog chews; lightning damage; or neglect, alteration, and misuse. Consumers who purchase
products outside of Australia, New Zealand, or from an unauthorised dealer will need to
return the Product to the original place of purchase for any warranty issues.

To file a claim, a proof of purchase must be provided. Without a proof of purchase, Radio

sending the Product. Failure to do so may delay in the repair or replacement of the Product.

If the Product is deemed to be faulty within 30 days from date of original purchase, Radio
Systems will organise for a replacement to be sent in advance of returning the faulty Product.
A Post Bag will be included with the replacement Product for the return of the faulty Product.
The Product must be returned within 7 days of receiving the replacement. If the Product is
deemed to be faulty after 30 days from the date of original purchase, the consumer will
be required to return the Product to Radio Systems at the consumer’s own expense. Radio
Systems will test and replace the faulty unit or its components and return to the consumer free
of charge, provided the Product is within its said warranty period. This warranty is in addition

350m et 900m sont confortables pour votre animal et
sont faciles à utiliser grâce à leur écran numérique, qui vous indique précisément le niveau de
stimulation utilisé.

Le système de dressage vous aide à contrôler votre animal sans l'aide d'une laisse, dans un rayon
soit de 350mètres, soit de 900mètres. Votre télécommande portable envoie un signal qui active le
collier-récepteur de votre chien. Il reçoit alors une stimulation, sans danger mais agaçante. Il

Important: les systèmes de dressage de luxe 350m et 900m ont une
portée allant jusqu'à 350mètres ou 900mètres. Selon la manière dont
vous tenez le télécommande portable, la portée maximale peut varier. Le
relief, le temps, la végétation, les transmissions d'autres dispositifs radio et
d'autres facteurs peuvent affecter la portée maximale.

Définitions

Télécommande portable: transmet le signal au collier-récepteur. Il est étanche.

Écran numérique

Niveau de stimulation: indique le niveau de stimulation pour le
Chien 1 ou le Chien 2 (Faible-1 à Élevé-15). Indique également
l'option «Boost» +2.

Chien 1: le symbole du collier-récepteur activé s'affichera pour
indiquer le Chien 1.

Chien 2: les symboles Chien 1 et Chien 2 s'afficheront (un achat
supplémentaire est nécessaire afin d'utiliser le dispositif pour 2 chiens).

Signal sonore: le niveau de stimulation clignotera lorsque vous
appuierez sur le bouton de signal sonore ou le bouton de stimulation.

Voyant de batterie: le voyant de batterie permet de savoir à tout
moment quel est le niveau de charge de votre batterie.

1d ou 2d: apparaît lors de la programmation du mode 2 chiens.

Collier-récepteur: émet une stimulation électrostatique ou un signal sonore lorsqu'il reçoit
un signal émanant du télécommande portable. Les colliers-récepteurs 350m et 900m sont
tous deux étanches.

Interrupteur marche/arrêt: appuyer momentanément sur ce bouton permet d'allumer ou
d'éteindre le collier-récepteur.

Contacteurs: points de contacts via lesquels le collier-récepteur délivre la stimulation
électrostatique.

LED: indique lorsque le collier-récepteur est allumé ou éteint. Sert également de voyant de
batterie faible.

Prises de charge: servent à brancher le chargeur. Bien que le télécommande portable et
le collier-récepteur soient étanches sans les caches des prises de charge, veuillez laisser les
caches en place lorsque vous ne chargez pas le dispositif afin d'éviter que des débris ne
pénètrent dans l'ouverture.

Stimulation continue: vous contrôlez quand et pour combien de temps est émise la
stimulation électrostatique par le biais des contacteurs. Lorsque vous appuyez sur le bouton
de stimulation pendant 10 secondes ou plus, le télécommande portable «s'arrêtera
automatiquement». Il faudra alors relâcher puis ré-appuyer sur le bouton avant qu'une
nouvelle stimulation électrostatique puisse être émise.

Préparer le télécommande portable

Charger le télécommande portable

1. Soulevez le cache en caoutchouc protégeant la prise
de charge du télécommande portable.

2. Branchez l’un des connecteurs du chargeur à la prise
de charge du télécommande portable.

3. Branchez le chargeur sur une prise murale ordinaire.

4. Chargez le télécommande portable pendant 5 heures
la première fois. Le temps de recharge n'est que de 3
à 4 heures. Remarque : le voyant de batterie défilera

pendant la charge et s'affichera comme plein une fois
la batterie complètement chargée.

5. Une fois la charge terminée, replacez le cache
en caoutchouc.

Remarque: l'autonomie approximative de la batterie entre
les charges se situe entre 40 et 60heures, selon la fréquence d'utilisation.

Mettre le télécommande portable en marche

Allumez le télécommande portable en appuyant sur n'importe quel bouton. L'écran numérique
s'allumera lorsque vous aurez appuyé sur un bouton.

Écran numérique du télécommande portable

L'écran numérique s'allume pendant 1 minute une fois que vous avez appuyé sur un
bouton. Après 1 minute, si vous n'avez appuyé sur aucun autre bouton, l'écran s'éteint et
le télécommande portable entre en mode d'économie de batterie. Si vous appuyez sur un
bouton, l'écran numérique se rallumera. Les différents symboles de l'écran sont expliqués
ci-dessous.

2. Faites glisser le clip ceinture hors de son emplacement.

1. Faites glisser le clip ceinture dans son emplacement jusqu'à entendre un déclic, signalant sa
bonne mise en place.

3. Une fois que le collier-récepteur est allumé, appuyez sur le bouton de signal sonore (en haut

à gauche - vert) du télécommande portable. Le collier-récepteur doit émettre un bip continu
jusqu'à ce que vous relâchiez le bouton de signal sonore. S'il n'émet pas de signal sonore,
consultez «Pour connecter le télécommande portable et le collier-récepteur». Remarque : afin
de prolonger l'autonomie de la batterie, éteignez le collier-récepteur lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé.

Batteries rechargeables

• Les batteries rechargeables au lithium-ion n'ont pas de mémoire sensible et ne doivent pas

nécessairement être vides avant d'être rechargées.

• Les batteries sont partiellement chargées lorsqu'elles sortent de l'usine. Néanmoins, il est

nécessaire de les charger entièrement (4 à 5 heures) avant la première utilisation.

• Rappelez-vous de toujours garder les batteries à l'écart du feu.

• Si l'appareil n'est pas utilisé pendant une longue période, n'oubliez pas d'effectuer

régulièrement une recharge complète des batteries (3 à 4 heures). Une recharge complète doit
être effectuée une fois toutes les 4 à 6 semaines,

• Les systèmes de dressage de luxe 350m et 900m sont équipés d'un dispositif de sécurité pour

éviter la surcharge.

• Si votre équipement n'a pas été chargé pendant une longue période, il est possible que

l'autonomie de votre batterie soit réduite lors des premières utilisations. Après cela, son
autonomie retournera à son niveau de capacité précédent.

• En principe, vos batteries peuvent être rechargées des centaines de fois. Cependant, toutes

les batteries rechargeables perdent de leur autonomie avec le temps et avec le nombre de
recharges effectuées. Cela est normal. Si le temps de fonctionnement de votre appareil baisse
de moitié par rapport à l'autonomie d'origine, contactez le Service clientèle.

• Lorsqu'une batterie doit être remplacée, contactez notre Service clientèle ou visitez notre site Internet.

N'ouvrez pas le collier-récepteur ou le télécommande portable.

ÉTAPE 3

Ajuster le collier-récepteur

Important : un ajustement et un positionnement adaptés de votre collier-récepteur sont
importants pour un dressage efficace. Les contacteurs doivent être en contact direct avec la
peau de votre chien, sur la partie inférieure de son cou.

Pour que le collier soit bien ajusté, veuillez suivre les étapes ci-dessous:

1. Assurez-vous que le collier-récepteur est éteint.

2. Commencez alors que votre chien se tient debout confortablement (3A).

3. Placez le collier-récepteur sur le cou de votre chien, à proximité des

oreilles. Positionnez le collier de manière à ce que les contacteurs soient
centrés sur la partie inférieure du cou de votre
chien, en contact avec la peau (

). Remarque : il
est parfois nécessaire de couper les poils autour
des contacteurs pour garantir un contact efficace.

Ne rasez pas le cou de votre
chien, ceci pouvant augmenter le
risque d'irritation de la peau.

4. Vérifiez l'ajustement du collier-récepteur en insérant
un doigt entre le collier et le cou de votre chien

étrangler votre chien.

5. Laissez votre chien porter le collier-récepteur
pendant quelques minutes, puis vérifiez de
nouveau le réglage. Vérifiez également le
réglage une fois que votre chien s'est habitué au collier-récepteur.

6. Coupez le collier tel qu'indiqué: (3D)

a. Faites une marque indiquant la longueur désirée

du collier avec un crayon. Laissez une marge si
votre animal n’a pas terminé sa croissance ou s’il
a un pelage d’hiver épais.

b. Retirez le collier-récepteur du cou de votre chien

et coupez la partie excédentaire du collier.

c. Avant de remettre le collier-récepteur sur votre chien, scellez le bord qui vient d'être

coupé en passant une flamme sur la partie effilochée.

Le collier-récepteur ne doit pas être porté plus de 12 heures par période
de 24 heures. Le fait de porter le collier-récepteur trop longtemps peut
entraîner une irritation de la peau. Veuillez vous référer à la page 32
pour plus d'informations.

à gauche du télécommande portable, ou si le collier-récepteur ne répond pas au signal du
télécommande portable, suivez les étapes ci-dessous:

1. Votre animal ne portant pas le collier, éteignez le collier-récepteur.

2. Appuyez sur l'interrupteur marche/arrêt pendant 5 secondes.

3. Le collier-récepteur émettra un bip sonore et la LED clignotera.

4. Appuyez sur le bouton de signal sonore.

5. Le collier-récepteur répondra et se connectera.

6. Si le collier-récepteur ne répond pas, veuillez contacter le Service clientèle.

Remarque: la connexion n'est valable que pour le Chien 1.

Tester le système de dressage

Nous vous recommandons de découvrir vous-même la manière dont le système de dressage
PetSafe

®

fonctionne. Commencez toujours au niveau d'intensité le plus faible et augmentez

l'intensité jusqu'à atteindre votre niveau de confort personnel.

1. Placez vos doigts sur les deux contacteurs du collier-récepteur.

2. Tenez le télécommande portable à environ 0,6mètre du collier-récepteur et appuyez
sur le bouton de hausse de la stimulation pour que l'écran numérique affiche le niveau

1. Appuyez sur le bouton de stimulation (jaune). À ce niveau, il est possible que vous ne
ressentiez pas la stimulation électrostatique rapide et passagère, suivie de la stimulation
électrostatique contrôlée lorsque vous continuez à appuyer sur le bouton.

Remarque: un arrêt automatique se déclenchera pour des raisons de sécurité si vous appuyez
sur le bouton de stimulation pendant plus de 10 secondes. Lorsque vous le relâchez, le bouton
de stimulation se réinitialise pour reprendre son fonctionnement normal.

3. Augmentez l'intensité jusqu'à ce que la sensation commence à être inconfortable.

Conseils

Introduction du système de dressage: introduisez le collier-récepteur PetSafe® lorsque votre
chien passe à l'âge adulte et comprend les ordres de base. Les colliers-récepteurs PetSafe

®

ne doivent être utilisés qu'avec les chiens de plus de 6 mois. Remarque: les autres animaux

à portée d'écoute sont affectés par les signaux sonores de dressage. En conséquence, les
sessions d'apprentissage doivent être menées hors de portée d'écoute de vos autres animaux.

Éviter le phénomène du chien «habitué au collier»: essayez d'éviter que votre chien
ne «s'habitue au collier» et qu'il n'obéisse que lorsqu'il porte le collier-récepteur PetSafe

®

. De
même, évitez que votre chien n'apprenne à obéir que lorsqu'il voit le télécommande portable
dans votre main. Il est facile d'éviter ce phénomène (consultez «Rester le maître» dans la
section suivante, «Recommandations de dressage pour votre chien»).

Sessions de dressage et détermination des niveaux de stimulation: vos sessions de
dressage doivent rester courtes. Observez la réaction de votre chien: il vous indiquera quel
est le niveau de stimulation électrostatique approprié et quand relâcher le bouton. Veuillez
vous référer à la section «Découvrir le meilleur niveau de stimulation pour votre animal» pour
plus d'informations.

Éliminer les comportements indésirables: pour corriger un comportement indésirable, il
est recommandé d'utiliser les niveaux de stimulation électrostatique les plus élevés. L'animal
doit être convaincu que ses actions inacceptables (et non vous) sont à la source de cette
sensation agaçante.

Les chiens apprennent d'abord un ordre: concentrez-vous sur l'apprentissage d'un ordre
avant de passer à un autre. Lorsque vous enseignez un ordre comme «au pied», «viens»,
«assis» ou «couché», plusieurs dresseurs recommandent d'utiliser des niveaux de stimulation
électrostatique faibles. Le chien apprend rapidement à arrêter ou à éviter totalement la
sensation désagréable.

Renforcer les ordres connus: pour renforcer les ordres que le chien connaît déjà, il est
recommandé d'utiliser les niveaux de stimulation électrostatique intermédiaires. Cela enseigne
au chien à suivre les instructions, en restant toujours à l'écoute et en obéissant.

Remarque: l'utilisation de compliments ou de friandises pour récompenser une bonne réponse
est une bonne méthode pour encourager votre chien, mais il est recommandé que vous (et les
membres de votre famille) conserviez toujours la position de maître du chien.

Ce produit ne doit pas être utilisé avec des chiens agressifs. Ne
pas utiliser ce produit si votre chien a tendance à être agressif.

Dresser votre animal à l'aide du signal
sonore positif

Avant d’utiliser la stimulation électrostatique pour dresser votre animal, passez 10 à 15 minutes
par jour, pendant 2 ou 3 jours, pour l'aider à créer un lien entre le signal sonore et une
récompense ou des compliments. Pour cela:

1. Appuyez sur le bouton de signal sonore pendant 2 secondes.

2. Relâchez le bouton de signal sonore et récompensez immédiatement votre chien à l'aide de
compliments, de caresses ou d'une petite friandise. Passez 3 à 5 secondes à le récompenser.

3. Attendez quelques minutes et répétez l'opération: appuyez sur le bouton de signal sonore
pendant 2 secondes puis complimentez votre chien.

Variez la récompense pour que votre chien ne s'attende pas à une récompense particulière.
Cette étape du dressage est terminée une fois que votre animal attend visiblement une
récompense lorsqu'il entend le signal sonore positif.

Découvrir le meilleur niveau de stimulation
pour votre animal

Important : commencez toujours par le niveau le plus faible, en augmentant
progressivement l'intensité.

Les systèmes de dressage de luxe 350m et 900m possèdent 15 niveaux différents de stimulation.
Ceci vous permet de choisir la stimulation électrostatique convenant le mieux à votre animal.

Une fois que vous avez installé le collier-récepteur sur votre animal, il est temps de découvrir
le niveau de stimulation qui lui correspond le mieux. C'est le «niveau de reconnaissance».

Un changement subtil dans le comportement de votre animal (il peut regarder autour de lui
avec curiosité, gratter son collier ou bouger ses oreilles) indique le niveau de reconnaissance
qui lui convient le mieux.

Suivez les étapes ci-dessous pour découvrir le niveau de reconnaissance de votre animal:

1. En commençant au niveau 1 sur l'écran numérique, appuyez sur le bouton de stimulation
pendant 1 à 2 secondes.

2. Si votre animal ne présente aucune réaction, répétez la stimulation à ce niveau plusieurs fois
avant de passer au niveau supérieur.

3. VOTRE ANIMAL NE DOIT PAS ABOYER NI PANIQUER LORSQU'IL REÇOIT UNE STIMULATION
ÉLECTROSTATIQUE. SI C'EST LE CAS, LE NIVEAU DE STIMULATION EST TROP ÉLEVÉ ET VOUS
DEVEZ REDESCENDRE D'UN NIVEAU AVANT DE RENOUVELER L'OPÉRATION.

4. Progressez en intensité jusqu'à ce que votre animal réponde de façon fiable à la
stimulation électrostatique.

5. Si votre animal continue à ne montrer aucune réponse au niveau 8, vérifiez que le collier­récepteur est bien ajusté. Si votre animal a des poils longs ou un pelage épais, contactez le
Service clientèle pour obtenir un ensemble de contacteurs plus longs. Recommencez ensuite
à l'étape numéro 1 et répétez l'opération. Si cela ne produit toujours aucun résultat, il vous
faudra couper les poils de votre animal autour des contacteurs.

Ne rasez pas le cou de votre chien, ceci pouvant augmenter le risque
d'irritation de la peau.

Si vous avez effectué l'ensemble de ces étapes et si votre animal ne présente toujours aucune
réaction lors de l'émission de la stimulation électrostatique, consultez la section «Instructions

«Boost» +2

En appuyant sur le bouton «Boost» +2 (rouge), vous envoyez un signal au collier-récepteur pour
qu'il émette une stimulation électrostatique à 2 niveaux au-dessus du niveau actuellement choisi.
Par exemple, si le niveau de stimulation est réglé sur 2, la stimulation électrostatique sera de niveau
4 si vous appuyez sur le bouton

«

Boost» +2. Certains dresseurs aiment avoir un accès instantané
à un paramètre plus élevé pour les moments où le chien peut ne pas répondre à un niveau faible,
comme lorsqu'il est entouré de distractions. Le système ne dépassera jamais le niveau de stimulation
Élevé-15.

Recommandations de dressage pour votre chien

1. Allumez le collier-récepteur.

• Veiligheid tijdens training aan de riem. De veiligheid van u en uw hond bij het

leren tijdens training aan de riem is van essentieel belang. Uw hond moet zijn aangelijnd
aan een sterke riem, lang genoeg om achter een voorwerp aan te gaan, maar kort
genoeg om de straat of een ander onveilig gebied te bereiken. U moet ook lichamelijk
sterk genoeg zijn om uw hond in bedwang te houden wanneer hij achter iets aan rent.

Risico op huidbeschadiging. Lees de instructies in deze handleiding door en volg deze op. De juiste
pasvorm van de halsband is belangrijk. Wanneer een halsband te lang gedragen wordt of te strak om
de nek van de hond zit, kan deze beschadiging van de huid veroorzaken. Dit soort beschadigingen, die
algemeen bekend staan onder de naam doorligwonden, kunnen variëren van roodheid tot drukzweren.

• Laat uw hond de halsband nooit langer dan 12 uur per dag dragen.

• Positioneer de halsband, indien mogelijk, elke 1 tot 2 uur anders om de nek van de hond.

• Controleer of de halsband goed past om overmatige druk te voorkomen; volg de instructies in

Zo werkt het systeem

Ervaar nu welk verschil een trainer met afstandsbediening kan maken. De PetSafe® 350 m & 900 m
deluxe trainers met afstandsbediening zijn comfortabel voor uw hond en eenvoudig in het gebruik,
met een geavanceerd digitaal beeldscherm dat precies aangeeft welk stimulatieniveau u gebruikt.

De trainer met afstandsbediening helpt u bij het onder controle houden van uw hond zonder riem
binnen een bereik van 350 meter of 900 meter. De afstandsbediening stuurt een signaal waarmee
de ontvangerhalsband van uw hond wordt geactiveerd. De hond ontvangt een veilige maar
vervelende stimulatie. Hij zal snel leren een verband te leggen tussen zijn gedrag en uw training;
het gedrag van uw hond zal snel verbeteren. Er is aangetoond dat de PetSafe

®

350 m & 900 m
deluxe trainers met afstandsbediening veilig, comfortabel en effectief zijn voor zowel kleine als
grote hondenrassen.

Belangrijk: De 350 m & 900 m deluxe trainers met afstandsbediening
hebben een bereik van maximaal 350 meter of 900 meter. Afhankelijk van
de manier waarop u de afstandsbediening vasthoudt, kan het maximale
bereik verschillen. Terrein, weer, begroeiing, radiosignalen van andere
apparaten en overige factoren hebben invloed op het maximale bereik.

Belangrijke definities

Afstandsbediening: stuurt het signaal naar de ontvangerhalsband. De afstandsbediening
is waterdicht.

Digitaal beeldscherm

Stimulatieniveau: toont het stimulatieniveau voor hond 1 of hond
2 (laag-1 tot hoog-15). Geeft tevens +2 Boost aan.

Hond 1: het actieve ontvangerhalsbandsymbool wordt
weergegeven om hond 1 aan te geven.

Hond 2: de symbolen hond 1 en hond 2 worden weergegeven
(extra aankoop vereist voor het systeem voor 2 honden).

Geluidssignaal: het stimulatieniveau knippert wanneer de
geluidssignaalknop of stimulatieknop wordt ingedrukt.

Controlelicht batterij: het controlelicht van de batterij houdt u
permanent op de hoogte van het batterijniveau.

1d of 2d: dit verschijnt bij het programmeren van de modus voor 2 honden. Opmerking:
de symbolen van het digitale beeldscherm worden meer in detail getoond op pagina 68.

af die 2 niveaus hoger is dan het momenteel geselecteerde niveau.
Kan het hoog-15 stimulatieniveau niet overschrijden.

Opmerking: Wanneer een stimulatieknop gedurende 10
seconden of langer wordt ingedrukt, wordt de afstandsbediening
onderbroken. De knop moet eerst worden losgelaten en opnieuw
worden ingedrukt, voordat er weer een stimulatie kan worden afgegeven. De 350 m &
900 m deluxe trainingssystemen met afstandsbediening zullen nooit het stimulatieniveau
van hoog-15 overschrijden.

Ontvangerhalsband: geeft een statische stimulatie of geluidssignaal af op een signaal van de
afstandsbediening. Zowel de 350 m als de 900 m ontvangerhalsband is waterdicht.

Aan/Uit-knop: het kortstondig ingedrukt houden van deze knop de ontvangerhalsband aan
en uit.

Contactpunten: de contacten waarmee de ontvangerhalsband de statische stimulatie afgeeft.
LED: geeft aan wanneer de ontvangerhalsband aan of uit staat en doet ook dienst als

controlelicht voor laag batterijniveau.
Oplaadaansluitingen: voor het aansluiten van de oplader. Hoewel de afstandsbediening

en de ontvangerhalsband waterdicht zijn zonder de afschermingen van de oplader, dienen
de afschermingen op hun plaats te zitten wanneer er niet wordt opgeladen om vuil uit de
openingen te houden.

Ononderbroken stimulatie: u bepaalt wanneer en hoe lang statische stimulatie wordt
afgegeven aan uw hond via de contactpunten van de ontvangerhalsband. Wanneer een
stimulatieknop gedurende 10 seconden of langer wordt ingedrukt, wordt de afstandsbediening
onderbroken. De knop moet eerst worden losgelaten en opnieuw worden ingedrukt, voordat er
weer een statische stimulatie kan worden afgegeven.

STAP 1

De afstandsbediening voorbereiden

De afstandsbediening opladen

1. Til de rubber afscherming van de oplaadaansluiting
van de afstandsbediening op.

2. Sluit een van de oplaadstekkers aan op de
oplaadaansluiting van de afstandsbediening.

3. Steek de oplader in een standaard muurstopcontact.

4. Laad de afstandsbediening gedurende 5 uur op als u
voor het eerst oplaadt. Opnieuw opladen duurt slechts
3 tot 4 uur. Opmerking: Het controlelicht van de

batterij scrolt door tijdens het opladen en blijft continu
branden als de batterij volledig is opgeladen.

5. Plaats de rubber afscherming terug als de batterij volledig
is opgeladen.

Opmerking: De levensduur van de batterij tussen
oplaadbeurten is ongeveer 40 tot 60 uur, afhankelijk van de gebruiksfrequentie.

De afstandsbediening INSCHAKELEN

Zet de afstandsbediening aan door een willekeurige knop in te drukken. Het digitale beeldscherm
wordt ingeschakeld wanneer u een willekeurige knop indrukt.

Digitaal beeldscherm afstandsbediening

Het digitale beeldscherm blijft nog 1 minuut ingeschakeld nadat een knop is ingedrukt. Als
er gedurende 1 minuut geen knop meer is ingedrukt, wordt het beeldscherm uitgeschakeld
en gaat de afstandsbediening over op de spaarstand. Het digitale beeldscherm wordt weer
ingeschakeld door op een willekeurige knop te drukken. De verschillende beeldschermsymbolen
worden hieronder uitgelegd.

Numerieke
weergave

Geeft het stimulatieniveau voor hond 1 of hond 2
weer.

Hond 1 / Hond 2 Het weergegeven symbool is de actieve

ontvangerhalsband. Zie Systeem voor 2 honden
op pagina 74.

Geluidssignaal of
statische stimulatie

Wanneer u op de geluidssignaalknop of de
stimulatieknop drukt, zal het symbool voor Hond 1
of Hond 2 vetgedrukt of onderstreept verschijnen.

Alleen
geluidssignaal

Wanneer u Alleen geluidssignaal voor Hond 1 of
Hond 2 indrukt, verschijnt het cijfer nul.

Controlelicht batterij

Het controlelicht van de batterij houdt u permanent
op de hoogte van het batterijniveau. Zie Controlelicht
batterij voor meer gedetailleerde informatie.

Opmerking: De fabrieksinstelling is de Hond 1-modus. U krijgt het symbool voor Hond 2 niet
te zien, tenzij het apparaat is geprogrammeerd voor Hond 2 (zie Systeem voor 2 honden op
pagina 74).

Controlelicht batterij

Batterij is 2⁄3 tot volledig opgeladen.
Afstandsbediening is volledig functioneel.

Batterij is 1⁄3 opgeladen.
Afstandsbediening is nog
altijd volledig functioneel.

Batterij is 1⁄6 opgeladen. Afstands bediening
kan de ontvangerhalsband aansturen, maar
dient zo snel mogelijk te worden opgeladen.

Batterij bijna leeg. Afstands­bediening kan de ontvanger­halsband niet aansturen.

Wanneer het controlelicht van de batterij het symbool voor een laag batterijniveau weergeeft
(

1

⁄6 opgeladen), moet u de afstandsbediening snel opladen. Wanneer de omtrek van de batterij
wordt weergegeven, heeft de batterij van de afstandsbediening onvoldoende vermogen om de
ontvangerhalsband aan te sturen. De afstandsbediening moet worden opgeladen om weer te
kunnen functioneren.

1. Houd de ontkoppelhendel op de riemclip ingedrukt en trek hem weg van de

2. Schuif de riemclip uit het inzetstuk.

De ontvangerhalsband voorbereiden

1. Til de rubber

LED gaat branden en de
ontvangerhalsband een piepje
laat horen van laag naar hoog.

2. Laat de aan/uit-knop los.
De groene LED knippert
elke 5 seconden totdat
de ontvangerhalsband is
uitgeschakeld. Het knipperende lampje geeft aan dat de ontvangerhalsband klaar is om
een radiosignaal te ontvangen van de afstandsbediening.

3. Nadat de ontvangerhalsband is aangezet, drukt u op de geluidssignaalknop (linksboven ­groen) van de afstandsbediening. Bij het indrukken moet de ontvangerhalsband een piepje
laten horen gedurende de tijd dat de geluidssignaalknop ingedrukt blijft. Als u geen piepje
hoort, raadpleeg dan "De afstandsbediening synchroniseren met de ontvangerhalsband".

Opmerking: Om de werkingsduur van de batterij te verlengen, zet u de ontvangerhalsband uit
als deze niet in gebruik is.

De ontvangerhalsband uitzetten

1. Houd de aan/uit-knop ingedrukt totdat de rode LED gaat branden en de
ontvangerhalsband een piepje laat horen van hoog naar laag.

2. Laat de aan/uit-knop los. De werkingsduur van de batterij tussen de oplaadbeurten in kan
worden verlengd door de ontvangerhalsband uit te zetten als deze niet in gebruik is. De
gebruiksduur van de batterij tussen de oplaadbeurten is ongeveer 40 tot 50 uur, afhankelijk
van de gebruiksfrequentie.

Oplaadbare batterijen

• De oplaadbare lithium-ion-batterijen zijn vrij van geheugeneffect en hoeven niet helemaal
leeg te zijn voor ze kunnen worden opgeladen.

• De batterijen komen gedeeltelijk geladen uit de fabriek, maar moeten voor het eerste
gebruik volledig worden opgeladen (4 tot 5 uur).

• Vergeet niet de batterijen altijd uit de buurt van vlammen te houden.

• Als het apparaat voor langere tijd wordt opgeslagen, moeten de batterijen regelmatig
helemaal worden opgeladen (3 tot 4 uur). Dit moet elke 4 tot 6 weken gebeuren.

• De 350 m & 900 m deluxe trainers met afstandsbediening zijn uitgerust met een
veiligheidsfunctie om overladen te voorkomen.

• Als u apparatuur gedurende langere tijd niet is opgeladen, kan de werkingsduur korter zijn bij de
eerste paar keer gebruiken. Daarna krijgt de batterij weer zijn oorspronkelijke werkingsniveau.

• De batterijen kunnen honderden keren worden opgeladen. Alle oplaadbare batterijen
verliezen in de loop van de tijd echter capaciteit in relatie tot het aantal oplaadcycli
dat doorlopen is. Dit is normaal. Als de werkingsduur terugvalt naar de helft van de
oorspronkelijke werkingsduur, neem dan contact op met de klantenservice.

• Wanneer een batterij moet worden vervangen, neemt u contact op met onze klantenservice of
bezoekt u onze website. Open de ontvangerhalsband of afstandsbediening niet zelf.

STAP 3

De ontvangerhalsband passend maken

Belangrijk: De correcte pasvorm en plaatsing van de ontvangerhalsband zijn van belang
voor een effectieve werking. De contactpunten dienen direct contact te maken met de huid
van de hond aan de onderkant van zijn hals.

Om zeker te zijn van de correcte pasvorm volgt u onderstaande stappen:

1. Controleer of de ontvangerhalsband uit staat.

2. Start met uw hond in een comfortabele staande houding (3A).

3. Plaats de ontvangerhalsband om de hals van uw hond, kort bij de oren.

Plaats de contactpunten tegen de huid in het midden aan de onderkant
van de hals van de hond (

3B

). Opmerking: Soms is
het noodzakelijk om het haar rond de
contactpunten bij te knippen, om zeker te zijn van
een permanent contact.

De hals van de hond niet
scheren, want dat kan het risico
van huidirritatie verhogen.

4. Controleer hoe strak de ontvangerhalsband zit
door één vinger tussen de halsband en de hals van
uw hond te steken (

). De halsband moet nauw

aansluiten, maar mag de hals niet insnoeren.

5. Laat uw hond de ontvangerhalsband een paar
minuten dragen en controleer de pasvorm dan
nog een keer. Controleer de pasvorm opnieuw
wanneer uw hond aan de ontvangerhalsband gewend is.

6. Maak de halsband als volgt korter: (3D)

a. Markeer de gewenste lengte van de halsband

met een pen. Houd wat ruimte over voor groei
als het een jonge hond of als de hond een dikke
wintervacht krijgt.

b. Maak de ontvangerhalsband los en knip het

gedeelte dat te lang is af.

c. Voordat u de ontvangerhalsband weer omdoet bij uw hond, dient u de rand waar u de

halsband hebt afgekniptaf te dichten door met een vlam langs de gerafelde rand te gaan.

De ontvangerhalsband mag niet langer dan 12 uur per dag worden
gedragen. Als u de ontvangerhalsband te lang om laat, kan dit leiden
tot huidirritatie. Raadpleeg pagina 60 voor meer informatie.

De schuifgesp verstellen

De schuifgesp voorkomt dat de halsband
los komt te zitten rond de hals van de hond.

De ribbels moeten naar boven gericht zijn;
de halsband zal los gaan zitten als de
schuifgesp niet goed is vastgemaakt.

STAP 4

Systeem voor 2 honden

Een Hond 2 toevoegen
Afstandsbediening

1. Druk de knop Stimulatie omlaag (rechtsonder - grijs)
achtereenvolgens in totdat "2d" op het digitale
beeldscherm verschijnt.

2. Nadat "2d" is verschenen, drukt u de +2 Boost-knop in.

3. Stel het stimulatieniveau van Hond 1 in op het gewenste
niveau met behulp van de knoppen Stimulatie omhoog en
Stimulatie omlaag.

4. Druk de +2 Boost-knop in om het stimulatieniveau voor
Hond 1 te vergrendelen.

5. Stel het stimulatieniveau van Hond 2 in op het gewenste
niveau met behulp van de knoppen Stimulatie omhoog en
Stimulatie omlaag.

6. Druk de +2 Boost-knop in om het stimulatieniveau voor Hond 2 te vergrendelen.

Ontvangerhalsband Hond 2

1. Maak de ontvangerhalsband los van uw hond en schakel de ontvangerhalsband uit.

2. Druk op de aan/uit-knop en houd deze gedurende 5 seconden ingedrukt.

3. De ontvangerhalsband piept en de LED knippert.

4. Druk op de afstandsbediening op de knop Stimulatie omhoog (rechtsboven - grijs) of
Stimulatie omlaag (rechtsonder - grijs).

5. De ontvangerhalsband zal reageren en worden gesynchroniseerd.

6. Als de ontvangerhalsband niet reageert, neem dan contact op met de klantenservice.

Stimulatieniveaus Hond 1/Hond 2

Om het stimulatieniveau voor Hond 1 of Hond 2 te wijzigen, drukt u de +2 Boost-knop gedurende 5
seconden in. Het pictogram voor Hond 1 verschijnt samen met het geselecteerde stimulatieniveau. U
kunt nu de knop rechtsboven gebruiken om het stimulatieniveau voor Hond 1 te verhogen en de knop
rechtsonder om het stimulatieniveau te verlagen. Druk de +2 Boost-knop in om het stimulatieniveau te
vergrendelen. Nu kunt u het stimulatieniveau voor Hond 2 aanpassen met behulp van dezelfde methode.
Druk de +2 Boost-knop in om het stimulatieniveau te vergrendelen en terug te keren naar de normale
bediening voor 2 honden.

Opmerking: Om het momenteel geselecteerde stimulatieniveau voor Hond 1 te bekijken, drukt u
eenmaal op de +2 Boost-knop en het beeldscherm toont het symbool voor Hond 1, samen met
het geselecteerde stimulatieniveau.

Om het momenteel geselecteerde stimulatieniveau voor Hond 2 te bekijken, drukt u twee maal
op de +2 Boost-knop en het beeldscherm toont het symbool voor Hond 2, samen met het
geselecteerde stimulatieniveau.

Hond 2 van de afstandsbediening verwijderen

Druk op de +2 Boost-knop en houd deze gedurende 5 seconden ingedrukt. Druk
op de knop rechtsonder totdat het symbool "1d" op het digitale beeldscherm
verschijnt. Druk op de +2 Boost-knop om het menu te verlaten.

STAP 5

De ontvangerhalsband van Hond 1
synchroniseren met de afstandsbediening

Als uw ontvangerhalsband geen piepje laat horen wanneer de knop linksboven op de
afstandsbediening wordt ingedrukt of als de ontvangerhalsband niet reageert op de
afstandsbediening, dient u de volgende stappen te volgen:

1. Maak de ontvangerhalsband los van uw hond en schakel de ontvangerhalsband uit.

2. Druk op de aan/uit-knop en houd deze gedurende 5 seconden ingedrukt.

3. De ontvangerhalsband piept en de LED knippert.

4. Druk op de geluidssignaalknop.

5. De ontvangerhalsband zal reageren en worden gesynchroniseerd.

6. Als de ontvangerhalsband niet reageert, neem dan contact op met de klantenservice.

Opmerking: Synchronisatie is alleen mogelijk voor Hond 1.

TRAININGSHANDLEIDING

De trainer met afstandsbediening testen

Wij willen graag dat u zelf ervaart hoe de PetSafe® trainer met afstandsbediening werkt. Begin
altijd op het laagste niveau en verhoog de intensiteit tot het niveau waar u zich het meest
comfortabel bij voelt.

1. Plaats uw vingers op beide contactpunten van de ontvangerhalsband.

2. Houd de afstandsbediening ongeveer 0,6 meter van de ontvangerhalsband en druk op

op de Stimulatieknop (geel). Op dit niveau is het mogelijk dat u de snelle aan/uit statische
stimulatie gevolgd door de gecontroleerde statische stimulatie niet voelt als u de knop
ingedrukt houdt.

Opmerking: Er volgt een automatische veiligheidsonderbreking als een Stimulatieknop langer
dan 10 seconden wordt ingedrukt. Als de Stimulatieknop wordt losgelaten, wordt deze
teruggezet naar de normale werking.

3. Verhoog de intensiteit totdat het ongemakkelijk begint aan te voelen.

Algemene tips

Beginnen met de trainer met afstandsbediening: Begin met uw PetSafe®
ontvangerhalsband wanneer uw hond is geslaagd voor zijn puppytraining en de basale
gehoorzaamheidscommando's begrijpt. Ontvangerhalsbanden van PetSafe

®

mogen alleen

worden gebruikt bij honden die ouder zijn dan 6 maanden.

Opmerking: Andere huisdieren die zich op gehoorsafstand bevinden, zullen worden
beïnvloed door de trainingstonen. Daarom moeten trainingssessies worden uitgevoerd buiten
gehoorsafstand van andere huisdieren.

Een "halsbandslimme" hond voorkomen: probeer te voorkomen dat uw hond een
"halsbandslimme" hond wordt, die alleen gehoorzaamt als hij de ontvangerhalsband
van PetSafe

®

draagt. Vermijd ook dat de hond alleen leert gehoorzamen als hij u met de
afstandsbediening in uw hand ziet. Dit kan eenvoudig worden voorkomen (zie "Blijf de leider"
in de volgende paragraaf "Aanbevelingen voor de training van uw hond").

Trainingssessies en stimulatieniveaus bepalen: houd uw trainingssessies kort en
observeer de reactie van uw hond - uw hond zal aangeven welk niveau van statische

Ongewenst gedrag stoppen: bij het stoppen van ongewenst gedrag wordt aanbevolen
om hogere statische stimulatieniveaus te gebruiken - het hond moet ervan overtuigd raken dat
zijn onaanvaardbare acties (en niet u) het vervelende gevoel hebben veroorzaakt.

Eerst één commando leren: richt u op het leren van één commando voordat u naar
een volgend commando gaat. Wanneer u een commando zoals "voet", "hier", "zit" of "lig"
bijbrengt, adviseren veel trainers om lage statische stimulatieniveaus te gebruiken. De hond
leert dan snel het onplezierige gevoel uit te schakelen of volledig te vermijden.

Bekende commando's versterken: om commando's die de hond al kent te versterken,
wordt aanbevolen om medium statische stimulatieniveaus te gebruiken. Dit leert de hond
instructies te respecteren door altijd te luisteren en te gehoorzamen.

Opmerking: Het geven van complimentjes of iets lekkers om de hond te belonen voor de
correcte respons is goed om de hond aan te moedigen, maar u of uw gezinsleden moeten
wel altijd de leider van de hond blijven.

Niet voor gebruik bij agressieve honden. Gebruik dit product
niet als uw hond agressief gedrag vertoont. Agressieve honden
kunnen ernstig letsel of overlijden veroorzaken bij hun eigenaren
en anderen. Als u er niet zeker van bent of dit product geschikt
is voor uw hond, neem dan contact op met uw dierenarts of een
gediplomeerd trainer.

Uw hond trainen met een positieve toon

Vóórdat u statische stimulatie gebruikt om uw hond te trainen, adviseren wij u om 10 tot 15
minuten per dag, gedurende 2 of 3 dagen, met hem te oefenen om het verband te leggen
tussen het geluidssignaal en beloning en complimentjes. Ga hiervoor als volgt te werk:

1. Druk de geluidssignaalknop gedurende 2 seconden in.

2. Laat de geluidssignaalknop los en beloon uw hond onmiddellijk met complimentjes, aaien of
iets lekkers. Besteed 3 tot 5 seconden aan het belonen.

3. Wacht een paar minuten en herhaal het indrukken van de geluidssignaalknop gedurende 2
seconden gevolgd door beloning.

Varieer de beloning om te voorkomen dat uw hond anticipeert op een specifiek type beloning.
Dit stadium van de training is voltooid wanneer uw hond duidelijk anticipeert op een beloning
als hij de positieve toon hoort.

Het beste stimulatieniveau voor uw hond vinden

Belangrijk: Begin altijd op het laagste niveau en ga in stappen omhoog.
De 350 m & 900 m deluxe trainers met afstandsbediening hebben 15 verschillende

stimulatieniveaus. Hiermee kunt u de meest geschikte statische stimulatie voor uw hond kiezen.
Nadat u de ontvangerhalsband bij uw hond hebt omgedaan, is het tijd om het meest

geschikte stimulatieniveau te vinden. Dit wordt het erkenningsniveau genoemd.
Een kleine verandering in het gedrag van uw hond, zoals nieuwsgierig rondkijken, aan de

halsband krabben of schudden met zijn oren, geeft het erkenningsniveau aan dat voor uw
hond het meest geschikt is.

Volg onderstaande stappen om het erkenningsniveau voor uw hond te vinden:

1. Begin op Niveau 1 op het digitale beeldscherm en houd de stimulatieknop gedurende 1
tot 2 seconden ingedrukt.

2. Als uw hond geen reactie geeft, herhaalt u het stimulatieniveau nog een paar keer voordat u
naar het volgende niveau gaat.

3. UW hond MAG GEEN GELUID MAKEN OF IN PANIEK RAKEN ALS HIJ STATISCHE
STIMULATIE KRIJGT. GEBEURT DIT TOCH, DAN LIGT HET STIMULATIENIVEAU TE HOOG
EN MOET U NAAR HET VORIGE NIVEAU TERUGKEREN EN DE PROCEDURE HERHALEN.

4. Voer het stimulatieniveau op totdat uw hond consequent reageert op de statische stimulatie.

5. Als uw hond nog altijd niet reageert op niveau 8, controleer dan of de ontvangerhalsband
goed past. Als uw hond een lange of dikke vacht heeft, kunt u contact opnemen met de
klantenservice voor een set langere contactpunten. Ga vervolgens terug naar stap 1 en
herhaal de procedure. Als dit ook geen resultaat oplevert, moet het haar van uw hond rond
de contactpunten worden bijgeknipt.

De hals van de hond niet scheren, want dat kan het risico van
huidirritatie verhogen.

reageert nog steeds niet op de statische stimulatie.

+2 Boost

Een druk op de +2 Boost-knop (rood) stuurt een signaal naar de ontvangerhalsband om
statische stimulatie af te geven die 2 niveaus hoger ligt dan het momenteel geselecteerde
niveau. Als het stimulatieniveau bijvoorbeeld is ingesteld op niveau 2, zal een druk op de +2
Boost-knop een statische stimulatie sturen op niveau 4. Sommige trainers geven de voorkeur
aan directe toegang tot een hogere instelling voor omstandigheden waarin de hond niet
reageert op lagere niveaus, zoals bij sterke afleiding. Het systeem zal nooit het hoog-15
stimulatieniveauoverschrijden.

Aanbevelingen voor de training van uw hond

Wanneer begint de training: de training begint op het moment dat u uw puppy mee naar
huis neemt. Hoewel uw hond nog niet klaar is voor de producten van PetSafe

®

totdat hij wat

meer volwassen is geworden, dient u direct met de basistraining te starten.
Blijf de leider: Laat uw hond niet "halsbandslim" worden. Een eenvoudige oplossing,

"halsbandconditionering" genoemd, helpt te voorkomen dat de hond alleen luistert als hij de
ontvangerhalsband draagt en niet gehoorzaamt als hij deze niet draagt. Ten eerste moet u
de ontvangerhalsband passend maken. Ten tweede moet u uw hond direct mee naar buiten
nemen of iets doen wat hij leuk vindt; u mag de ontvangerhalsband nog niet activeren. Laat de
hond de ontvangerhalsband dragen tijdens niet-trainingssessies. Uw hond moet gaan denken
dat het dragen van de ontvangerhalsband ook kan leiden tot plezier hebben. Het mag niet
worden ervaren als een straf. Doe de ontvangerhalsband diverse keren gedurende korte
en langere periodes aan en uit bij de hond, zodat het dragen ervan normale routine wordt.
Vermijd ook dat de hond alleen leert gehoorzamen als hij de afstandsbediening ziet. Neem de
afstandsbediening mee, maar gebruikt hem niet voortdurend. Hoe lang moet dit proces duren?
Volgens professionele trainers een paar dagen tot enkele weken.

Richt uw aandacht op de hond: de meningen van professionele trainers lopen op
bepaalde punten uiteen, maar alle gebruikers van trainingssystemen met afstandsbediening
zijn het erover eens dat u tijdens de training uw hond en niet de afstandsbediening in de

en moet u de knop loslaten en opnieuw indrukken.

Instructie testlampje

1. Zet de ontvangerhalsband aan.

2. Houd de contacten van het testlampje tegen de contactpunten.

3. Druk op een van de stimulatieknoppen op de afstandsbediening.

4. Het testlampje gaat knipperen. Opmerking: bij hogere

stimulantieniveaus zal het testlampje feller knipperen.

5. Zet de ontvangerhalsband uit.
Bewaar het testlampje voor latere testen. Opmerking: als het testlampje

Cómo funciona el sistema

Ahora puede notar la diferencia con un sistema de adiestramiento. Los sistemas de adiestramiento
deluxe 350 m y 900 m de PetSafe

®

son cómodos para su mascota y fáciles de usar, con una

pantalla digital avanzada que le indica exactamente el nivel de estimulación que está utilizando.
El sistema de adiestramiento le ayuda a controlar a su mascota sin correa en un ámbito de 350

metros o 900 metros. El mando remoto envia una señal que active el collar receptor de su perro.
Recibe una estimulación segura pero molesta. Enseguida aprenderá la asociación entre su
conducta y su adiestramiento; en poco tiempo tendrá una mascota mejor educada. Los sistemas
de adiestramiento deluxe 350 m y 900 m de PetSafe

®

han resultado ser seguros, cómodos y

eficaces para razas de perros pequeños y grandes.
Importante: los sistemas de adiestramiento deluxe 350 m y 900 m

tienen un alcance de hasta 350 metros o 900 metros. El alcance máximo
puede variar en función de la forma en que sujete el mando remoto. El
alcance máximo del aparato pudiera verse afectado por accidentes del
terreno, condiciones meteorológicas, vegetación, interferencias de otros
aparatos de radio o por otros factores.

Definiciones

Mando remoto: transmite la señal al collar receptor. Es sumergible.

Pantalla digital

Nivel de estimulación: muestra el nivel de estimulación del Perro
1 o Perro 2 (de bajo-1 a alto-15). También indica "Booster" + 2.

Perro 1: aparecerá el símbolo del collar receptor activo para
indicar Perro 1.

Perro 2: aparecerán los símbolos de Perro 1 y Perro 2 (el sistema
de 2 perros requiere otra compra).

Señal acústica: el nivel de estimulación parpadeará al pulsar el
botón Señal acústica o Estimulación.

Indicador de batería: el indicador de batería alerta
constantemente del nivel de carga de la batería.

durante 10 segundos o más, el mando remoto se desconectará automáticamente.
Deberá soltar el botón y pulsarlo de nuevo antes de poder administrar otra estimulación.

Collar receptor: administra estimulación estática o una señal acústica con una señal del
mando remoto. Los collares receptores 350 m y 900 m son sumergibles.

Botón de encendido/apagado: si pulsa momentáneamente y mantiene pulsado este
botón, encenderá y apagará el collar receptor.

Puntos de contacto: los contactos a través de los cuales el collar receptor suministra la
estimulación estática.

LED: indica cuándo se ha encendido o apagado el collar receptor y también sirve como
Indicador de pila con poca carga.

Conectores de carga: para conectar el cargador. Aunque el mando remoto y el collar
receptor son sumergibles sin las cubiertas del cargador, mantenga las cubiertas colocadas
cuando no esté cargando para que no entre suciedad por las aberturas.

Estimulación continua: usted controla cuándo y durante cuánto tiempo administra
estimulación estática al perro mediante los puntos de contacto del collar receptor. Cuando se
mantiene pulsado un botón de estimulación durante 10 segundos o más, el mando remoto se
desconectará automáticamente. Deberá soltar el botón y pulsarlo de nuevo antes de poder
administrar otra estimulación estática.

PASO 1

Prepare el mando remoto

Cargue el mando remoto

1. Levante la cubierta de goma que protege el conector
de carga del mando remoto.

2. Conecte uno de los conectores del cargador al
conector de carga del mando remoto.

3. Enchufe el cargador en una toma de corriente de la
pared estándar.

4. Cargue el mando remoto durante 5 horas en la
primera carga. Las recargas solo tardan 3-4 horas.

Atención: el indicador de batería avanzará durante
la carga y permanecerá fijo cuando esté totalmente
cargado.

5. Vuelva a colocar la cubierta de goma cuando se haya
completado la carga.

Atención: la batería tiene una duración aproximada de 40 a 60 horas, en función del uso.

Encender el mando remoto

Encienda el mando remoto pulsando cualquier botón. Se encenderá la pantalla digital al pulsar
cualquier botón.

La pantalla digital permanece encendida 1 minuto después de pulsar un botón. Al cabo de
1 minuto sin pulsar otro botón, la pantalla se apagará y el mando remoto entrará en el modo
de conservación de batería. Si pulsa cualquier botón, se volverá a encender la pantalla
digital. A continuación se explican los distintos símbolos de la pantalla.

Lectura numérica

Muestra el nivel de estimulación del Perro 1 o Perro 2.

Perro 1 / Perro 2

El símbolo que aparece es el collar receptor del perro
activo. Consulte el sistema de 2 perros en la página 102.

Señal acústica
o estimulación
estática

Al pulsar los botones de señal acústica o estimulación,
aparecerá el símbolo del Perro 1 o Perro 2 en negrita
o enfatizado.

Solo señal
acústica

Al pulsar Solo señal acústica para el Perro 1 o Perro 2,
aparecerá el número cero.

Indicador de
batería

El indicador de batería alerta constantemente del nivel
de carga de la batería. Consulte la sección Indicador

Atención: la configuración predeterminada es para el modo Perro 1; no verá el símbolo
Perro 2 a menos que se programe la unidad para Perro 2 (consulte el sistema de 2 perros en
la página 102).

Cuando el indicador de batería muestre el símbolo de batería baja (1⁄6 de capacidad),
recargue pronto el mando remoto. Cuando aparezca el perfil de la batería, la batería del
mando remoto no podrá activar las transmisiones al collar receptor. Debe cargar el mando
remoto para restablecer el funcionamiento.

1. Deslice el clip de cinturón en la inserción hasta que haga clic, ajustándose.

Para encender el collar receptor

1. Mantenga pulsado el botón de

encendido/apagado hasta que
permanezca fijo el indicador
verde y el collar receptor emita
un sonido de bajo a alto.

2. Suelte el botón de encendido/

apagado. El indicador verde
parpadeará una vez cada 5
segundos hasta que apague el collar receptor. La luz parpadeante indica que el collar
receptor está listo para recibir una señal de radio del mando remoto.

3. Una vez encendido el collar receptor, pulse el botón Señal acústica (arriba a la izquierda -

verde) del mando remoto. Tras pulsarlo, el collar receptor pitará mientras mantenga pulsado
el botón Señal acústica. En caso contrario, consulte "Para emparejar el mando remoto y el
collar receptor". Atención: para ampliar la duración de la batería, apague el collar receptor

cuando no lo esté usando.

Para apagar el collar receptor

1. Mantenga pulsado el botón de encendido/apagado hasta que permanezca fijo el
indicador rojo y el collar receptor emita un sonido de alto a bajo.

2. Suelte el botón de encendido/apagado. Para ampliar la duración entre los ciclos de
carga, apague el collar receptor cuando no lo esté usando. La batería tiene una duración
aproximada de 40 a 50 horas, en función del uso.

Baterías recargables

• Las baterías de iones de litio recargables no tienen memoria, no es necesario que se

agoten completamente antes de cargarlas.

• Las baterías se suministran parcialmente cargadas desde la fábrica pero es preciso

cargarlas completamente (4 o 5 horas) antes del primer uso.

• Recuerde alejar siempre las baterías de las llamas.

• Cuando guarde la unidad durante largos periodos, recuerde recargar totalmente las baterías

de vez en cuando (3 o 4 horas). Esto debería hacerse una vez cada 4 o 6 semanas.

• Los sistemas de adiestramiento deluxe 350 m y 900 m están equipados con una función

de seguridad para evitar la sobrecarga.

• Si no ha cargado su equipo en mucho tiempo, puede notar que disminuye la duración de

la batería en los primeros usos. Después la duración de la batería volverá a los niveles de
capacidad anteriores.

• Podrá realizar cientos de ciclos de recargas de las baterías. No obstante, todas las baterías

recargables pierden capacidad a lo largo del tiempo en relación al número de ciclos de
recarga que experimentan. Esto es normal. Si su tiempo de funcionamiento cae hasta la
mitad de la duración original, póngase en contacto con el Centro de atención al cliente.

• Cuando tenga que sustituir una batería, póngase en contacto con el Centro de atención al

cliente o visite nuestra página web. No abra el mando remoto ni el collar receptor.

PASO 3

Colocar el collar receptor

Importante: el ajuste y la colocación correctos del collar receptor son importantes para el
adiestramiento eficaz. Los puntos de contacto deben hacer contacto directamente con la piel
del perro, en la parte inferior del cuello.

Para ajustarlo bien, siga estos pasos:

1. Asegúrese de que el collar receptor esté apagado.

2. Para comenzar, coloque al perro en una posición cómoda (3A).

3. Coloque el collar receptor en el cuello del perro, cerca de las orejas.

Centre los puntos de contacto bajo el cuello del perro, tocando la piel

). Atención: a veces hay que recortar el pelo
del perro en la zona que rodea los puntos de
contacto para que estén siempre en contacto con
la piel.

No afeite el cuello de la mascota,
ya que puede aumentar el riesgo
de irritación de la piel.

4. Compruebe el apriete del collar receptor
introduciendo un dedo entre el collar y el cuello
del perro (3C). El ajuste debe ser firme pero
no constrictor.

5. Deje que su perro lleve el collar receptor durante
varios minutos y después vuelva a comprobar el
ajuste. Compruebe el ajuste de nuevo cuando su
perro se sienta más cómodo llevando el collar receptor.
