• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not place or store an appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a bathtub or sink.

• Always unplug any appliance when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.

• Do not use an appliance for anything other than its intended use.

• If the power adaptor of this device gets wet, turn off the electricity to that mains power outlet. Do not attempt to unplug.

• Examine this appliance after installation. Do not plug into mains power outlet if there is water on the electrical power cord or power adaptor.

• Dispose of all packaging material properly. Some items may be packed in plastic bags. These bags could cause suffocation. Keep away from children and pets.

• Do not allow pets to chew on or swallow any parts. If you are concerned your pet may chew the power cord, purchase a cord conduit (a hard plastic protector) at any hardware store.

• The plastic fountain parts are BPA-FREE. However, some pets have been known to be sensitive to plastic food and water containers. If your pet shows signs of an allergic reaction to the plastic, please discontinue use until you have consulted with your veterinarian.

• Do not run dry. Always maintain the water level.

• Do not attempt repairs on the pump.

• Do not pull on the electrical power cord to remove the power adaptor from the mains power outlet.

• To unplug, grasp the power adaptor, not the electrical power cord.

• To avoid the possibility of the power adaptor or electrical outlet getting wet, the mains power outlet should always be above the level of the pet fountain.

• If an extension cord is necessary, an extension cord with a proper rating should be used.

• The electrical use of this appliance is 9 watts.

• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition. Do not modify the appliance.

• Do not install or store appliance where it will be exposed to weather or temperatures below 4.5° C.

• Read and observe all important notices listed on the appliance and in the packaging.

• Never wash the filters with soapy water as the soap residue will seep into the filters and cannot be removed. Only rinse the filters with water.

• Use only PetSafe™ brand authorised replacement filters. If unauthorised filters are used, the warranty may be voided.

• Do not use outdoors. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.

Assemble Pet Fountain

1. Rinse all fountain components (except for the

ENFRESDE

adaptor) with warm water before use. This will remove any residue from the manufacturing process. Place the foam filter inside the bowl as shown.

2. Place the pump inside the foam filter on the bottom of the bowl with the power cord closest to the hole on the back of the bowl. Press down on the pump to engage the suction cups.

3. Once the pump is securely in place, feed the power cord through the hole on the back of the bowl and out the notch on the bottom of the bowl.

4. Remove the slack from the power cord and push the rubber gasket on the power cord firmly into the hole.

5. Attach the rubber connector to the pump tube if it is not already attached.

6. Open the filter housing by using the tabs to pull it apart.

7. Rinse the charcoal filter thoroughly under cold water to remove any loose carbon dust. Insert the rounded side of the charcoal filter into the rounded side (side A) of the filter housing.

8. Close the filter housing by aligning the clips and pressing down until it snaps shut.

9. Insert the filter housing in to the pump tube. Attach

the bottom of the filter housing to the pump tube.

10. Align the tab of the filter housing with the raised notch in the bowl. The flat side (side B) of the filter housing will be facing the front of the bowl.

11. Attach the tower by aligning it with the raised notches on the back of the bowl.

12. Insert the flow control knob into the hole on the top of the tower. Turn the knob clockwise to maximize the water stream. Turn the knob anti- clockwise to decrease the water stream or shut it off.

13. Attach the lid to the tower. Pick up the pet fountain by the bowl and place it in a desired location. Pour water into the bowl, leaving 13 mm of space between the water level and the rim of the bowl.

14. Make sure the electrical power cord, the power adaptor and your hands are completely dry. Connect the in-line plug and make sure no silver is showing, then plug the adaptor into a mains power outlet.

NOTE: Never let the water level fall below 2.5 cm from the base of the bowl or your pump

might fail.

Pet Fountain Cleaning

NOTE: Replace the charcoal filter every 2-4 weeks and replace the foam filter every 1-2 months.

1. Unplug the pet fountain, and disconnect the in-line plug.

2. Pick up the pet fountain by the bowl, and take it to the sink.

3. Pour out the water, and then disassemble the pet fountain.

4. Discard the charcoal filter and the foam filter. Clean the pump (see Pump Cleaning section for instructions). Use a solution of 80% water and 20% white vinegar to remove hard water buildup.

5. Wash all other parts with warm water and soap, or place in the top rack of the dishwasher.

NOTE:

Do not place the adaptor, rubber connector or pump in the dishwasher.

Pump Cleaning

1. Remove the faceplate. You may need to use a

fingernail or another slim object to pry it off.

2. Remove the yellow, teardrop-shaped intake plate by pulling the small tab away from the pump.

3. Remove the impeller (white, 3-bladed propeller) by holding one of the blades and pulling it out of the pump. The impeller is held in place magnetically and you will experience a slight resistance when removing this piece. Clean the pump parts with warm water and soap, rinse well, then reassemble.

Defects, effective January 1, 2012, warranty details of this Product are as follows: Radio Systems Australia Pty Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Radio Systems”) warrants to the original retail purchaser, and not any other purchaser or subsequent owner, that its Product, when subject to normal and proper residential use, will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the purchase date. An “original retail consumer purchaser” is a person or entity who originally purchases the Product, or a gift recipient of a new Product that is unopened and in its original packaging. When serviced by Radio Systems Customer Service, Radio Systems covers labour and parts for the first two years of ownership; after the first two years, a service or upgrade charge will apply relative to replacement of the Product with new or refurbished items at Radio Systems’ sole discretion.

The limited warranty is non-transferable and shall automatically terminate if the original retail consumer purchaser resells the Radio Systems Product or transfers the property on which the Radio Systems Product is installed. This Limited Warranty excludes accidental damage due to dog chews; lightning damage; or neglect, alteration, and misuse. Consumers who purchase products outside of Australia, New Zealand, or from an unauthorised dealer will need to return the Product to the original place of purchase for any warranty issues.

Please note that Radio Systems does not provide refunds, replacements, or upgrades for change of mind, or for any other reason outside of these Warranty terms.

To file a claim, a proof of purchase must be provided. Without a proof of purchase, Radio Systems will not repair or replace faulty components. Radio Systems requests the Consumer to contact the Radio Systems Customer Care Centre to obtain a Warranty Return number, prior to sending the Product. Failure to do so may delay in the repair or replacement of the Product. If the Product is deemed to be faulty within 30 days from date of original purchase, Radio Systems will organise for a replacement to be sent in advance of returning the faulty Product. A Post Bag will be included with the replacement Product for the return of the faulty Product. The Product must be returned within 7 days of receiving the replacement. If the Product is deemed to be faulty after 30 days from the date of original purchase, the consumer will be required to return the Product to Radio Systems at the consumer’s own expense. Radio Systems will test and replace the faulty unit or its components and return to the consumer free of charge, provided the Product is within its said warranty period. This warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the law. Radio Systems goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australia Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

For products used with pets where training is desired, Radio Systems Corporation recommends that these training products are not used if your pet is aggressive and accepts no liability for determining suitability in individual cases.

2. No Unlawful or Prohibited Use

This product is designed for use with pets only. This product is not intended to harm, injure or provoke. Using this product in a way that is not intended could result in violation of Federal, State or local laws.

3. Limitation of Liability

Montage de la fontaine pour animaux de compagnie

1. Rincez le contenu du kit de la fontaine (sauf l’adaptateur) avec de l’eau chaude avant utilisation. Cela vous permettra permet d’éliminer tout résidu de la fabrication. Placez le filtre en mousse à l’intérieur du bol comme illustré.

2. Placez la pompe à l’intérieur du filtre en mousse à la base du bol, en plaçant le cordon d’alimentation le plus près du trou à l’arrière du bol. Appuyez sur la pompe pour coller les ventouses.

3. Une fois la pompe bien en place, passez le cordon d’alimentation à travers le trou à l’arrière du bol, puis ressortez-la par l’encoche située à la base du bol.

4. Tendez bien le cordon d’alimentation sans laisser de mou et poussez fermement dans le trou le joint en caoutchouc du cordon d’alimentation.

5. S’il n’est pas déjà raccordé, fixez le connecteur en

caoutchouc au tube de la pompe.

6. Ouvrez le compartiment du filtre en utilisant les languettes afin de l’écarter.

7. Rincez soigneusement le filtre au charbon à l’eau froide pour éliminer toute poussière de charbon. Insérez le côté arrondi du filtre à charbon dans le côté arrondi (côté A) du compartiment du filtre.

8. Fermez le compartiment du filtre en alignant les clips et en appuyant dessus jusqu’à ce qu’il s’enclenche, indiquant qu’il est fermé.

9. Insérez le compartiment du filtre dans le tube de la pompe. Fixez la base du compartiment du filtre au tube de la pompe.

10. Alignez la languette du compartiment du filtre sur l’encoche surélevée dans le bol. Le côté plat (côté B) du compartiment du filtre sera orienté vers l’avant du bol.

11. Fixez la tour en l’alignant avec les encoches surélevées à l’arrière du bol.

12. Insérez la molette de réglage du débit dans le trou en haut de la tour. Tournez la molette dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre pour maximiser le débit d’eau. Tournez la molette dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre pour réduire le débit d’eau ou l’arrêter.

13. Fixez le couvercle à la tour. Tenez la fontaine pour

animaux de compagnie par le bol et placez-la à l’endroit voulu. Versez de l’eau dans le bol, en laissant 13 mm d’espace entre la surface de l’eau et le bord du bol.

14. Assurez-vous que vos mains, l’adaptateur et le cordon d’alimentation sont parfaitement secs. Connectez la prise en ligne et assurez-vous qu’aucune partie argentée n’est visible, puis branchez l’adaptateur dans une prise murale.

REMARQUE : Ne laissez jamais le niveau d’eau descendre en dessous de 2,5 cm par rapport à la

base du bol, car cela risquerait de provoquer une défaillance de la pompe.

Nettoyage de la fontaine pour animaux de compagnie

REMARQUE : Remplacez le filtre au charbon toutes les 2 à 4 semaines et remplacez le filtre en

mousse tous les 1 à 2 mois.

1. Débranchez la fontaine pour animaux de compagnie et déconnectez la prise en ligne.

2. Tenez la fontaine pour animaux de compagnie par le bol et amenez-la dans l’évier/lavabo.

3. Versez l’eau hors de la fontaine pour animaux de compagnie, puis démontez celle-ci.

4. Jetez le filtre au charbon et le filtre en mousse. Nettoyez la pompe (voir les instructions à la section Nettoyage de la pompe). Utilisez une solution composée à 80 % d’eau et 20 % de vinaigre blanc pour éliminer les dépôts formés par l’eau dure.

5. Lavez toutes les autres pièces avec de l’eau chaude et du savon ou placez-les sur la grille supérieure du lave-vaisselle.

Nettoyage de la pompe

1. Retirez la façade. Vous devrez peut-être utiliser un ongle ou un autre objet mince pour la soulever.

2. Retirez la plaque d’entrée jaune en forme de larme en tirant la petite languette de manière à l’écarter de la pompe.

3. Retirez la turbine (hélice blanche à 3 pales) en tenant l’une des lames et en la tirant hors de la pompe. La turbine est maintenue en place par magnétisme, donc vous rencontrerez une légère résistance lors du retrait de cette pièce. Nettoyez les pièces de la pompe avec de l’eau chaude et du savon, rincez-les bien, puis réassemblez-les.

Monteer de drinkfontein

1. Spoel alle onderdelen van de drinkfontein

(behalve de adapter) vóór gebruik met warm water. Zo wordt eventueel residu van het fabricageproces verwijderd. Plaats het schuimfilter zoals afgebeeld in de bak.

2. Plaats de pomp in het schuimfilter onder in de bak, met de stroomkabel aan de kant van het gat in de achterkant van de bak. Druk de pomp omlaag in de zuignapjes.

3. Nadat de pomp stevig is aangebracht, drukt u de stroomkabel door het gat in de achterkant van de bak en door de inkeping in de onderkant van de bak.

4. Trek de stroomkabel strak en druk de rubberen afdichtring aan de stroomkabel stevig in het gat.

5. Bevestig de rubberen connector aan de pompbuis, als deze nog niet is bevestigd.

6. Open de filterbehuizing door deze aan de lipjes uiteen te trekken.

7. Spoel het koolstoffilter grondig af onder koud water om los koolstofpoeder te verwijderen. Steek de afgeronde kant van het koolstoffilter in de afgeronde kant (kant A) van de filterbehuizing.

8. Sluit de filterbehuizing door de klemmen met elkaar uit te lijnen en omlaag te drukken totdat de behuizing dichtklikt.

9. Plaats de filterbehuizing in de pompbuis.

Bevestig de bodem van de filterbehuizing op de pompbuis.

10. Lijn het lipje van de filterbehuizing uit met de opstaande inkeping in de bak. De platte kant (kant B) van de filterbehuizing wijst naar de voorkant van de bak.

11. Bevestig de toren door deze uit te lijnen met de opstaande inkepingen aan de achterkant van de bak.

12. Steek de knop voor stromingsregeling in het gat boven in de toren. Draai de knop rechtsom voor een maximale waterstroom. Draai de knop linksom om de waterstroom zwakker te maken of stop te zetten.

13. Bevestig het deksel op de toren. Til de drinkfontein op aan de bak en zet hem op de gewenste plek. Giet water in de bak, maar laat 13 mm ruimte tussen het wateroppervlak en de rand van de bak.

14. Zorg ervoor dat de stroomkabel, de stroomadapter en uw handen helemaal droog zijn. Sluit het insteekcontact aan en zorg dat er geen zilver zichtbaar is; steek vervolgens de adapter in een wandcontactdoos.

OPMERKING: Het waterniveau mag nooit lager komen dan 2,5 cm vanaf de basis van de bak,

omdat uw pomp anders defect kan raken.

Reiniging van de drinkfontein

OPMERKING: Vervang het koolstoffilter om de 2-4 weken en vervang het schuimfilter om de

1-2 maanden.

1. Haal de stekker van de drinkfontein uit het stopcontact en koppel het insteekcontact los.

2. Til de drinkfontein op aan de bak en draag hem naar de gootsteen.

3. Giet het water weg en neem de drinkfontein vervolgens uiteen.

4. Werp het koolstoffilter en het schuimfilter weg. Reinig de pomp (zie het gedeelte Reiniging van de pomp). Gebruik een oplossing van 80% water en 20% witte azijn om afzettingen van hard water te verwijderen.

5. Was alle andere onderdelen met warm water en zeep, of in het bovenste rek van een afwasmachine.

OPMERKING: Leg de adapter, rubberen connector of pomp niet in de afwasmachine.

Reiniging van de pomp

1. Verwijder de voorplaat. U hebt mogelijk een

vingernagel of een ander smal voorwerp nodig om de voorplaat los te maken.

2. Verwijder de gele, traanvormige invoerplaat door het smalle lipje weg van de pomp te trekken.

3. Verwijder de rotor (witte propeller met 3 bladen) door een van de bladen vast te houden en uit de pomp te trekken. De rotor wordt met een magneet op zijn plaats gehouden, dus u voelt een lichte weerstand bij het verwijderen van dit onderdeel. Reinig de onderdelen van de pomp met warm water en zeep, spoel ze goed af en zet ze dan weer in elkaar.

Montaje de la fuente para mascotas

1. Aclare todos los componentes de la fuente (excepto el adaptador) con agua tibia antes de su uso. Esto eliminará cualquier residuo que permanezca en el sistema debido al proceso de fabricación. Coloque el filtro de espuma dentro del cuenco tal como se muestra.

2. Coloque la bomba dentro del filtro de espuma en la parte inferior del cuenco con el cable de alimentación más cercano al agujero en la parte posterior del cuenco. Presione la bomba hacia abajo para acoplar las ventosas.

3. Una vez que la bomba esté colocada de forma segura, conecte el cable de alimentación en la parte posterior del cuenco y fuera de la muesca de la base del cuenco.

4. Retire el margen del cable de alimentación y apriete la junta de goma firmemente en el cable de alimentación dentro del agujero.

8. Cierre la caja del filtro alineando los clips y presionándolos hasta que se encajan.

9. Introduzca la caja del filtro en el tubo de la bomba. Acople la parte inferior de la caja del filtro al tubo de la bomba.

10. Alinee la lengüeta de la caja del filtro con la muesca elevada en el cuenco. El lado plano (lado B) de la caja del filtro estará orientado a la parte frontal del cuenco.

11. Acople la torre alineándola con las muescas elevadas en la parte posterior del cuenco.

12. Introduzca el mando regulador de caudal en el agujero en la parte superior de la torre. Gire la perilla en sentido horario para aumentar el flujo de agua. Gire la perilla en sentido antihorario para disminuir el flujo de agua o para apagarlo.

13. Acople la tapa a la torre. Coja la fuente para

mascotas desde el cuenco y colóquela en la posición deseada. Vierta agua en el cuenco, dejando al menos 13 mm de espacio entre el nivel de agua y el borde del cuenco.

14. Asegúrese de que el cable de alimentación eléctrica, el adaptador y sus manos estén secos. Conecte el enchufe de paso sin que se vea lo plateado y después enchufe el adaptador en una toma eléctrica estándar.

NOTA: no permita en ningún caso que el nivel de agua esté por debajo de los 2,5 cm desde la

base del cuenco; de lo contrario podría averiarse la bomba.

Limpieza de la fuente para mascotas

NOTA: reemplace el filtro de carbón vegetal cada 2-4 semanas y reemplace el filtro de espuma

cada 1-2 meses.

1. Desenchufe la fuente para mascotas y desconecte el enchufe de paso.

2. Coja la fuente para mascotas desde el cuenco y llévela a la pila.

3. Tire el agua y luego desmonte la fuente para mascotas.

4. Deshágase del filtro de carbón vegetal y del filtro de espuma. Limpie la bomba (consulte las instrucciones en la sección Limpieza de la bomba). Utilice una solución de 80 % de agua y 20 % de vinagre blanco para eliminar la acumulación dura del agua.

5. Lave las otras partes con agua tibia y jabón, o colóquelas en la bandeja superior del lavavajillas.

NOTA: no coloque el adaptador, el conector de goma ni la bomba en el lavavajillas.

Limpieza de la bomba

1. Retire la placa frontal. Podría necesitar una uña u otro objeto delgado para hacer palanca.

2. Retire la tapa frontal amarilla con forma de gota tirando de la lengüeta pequeña hacia afuera de la bomba.

3. Retire la hélice (hélice blanca de 3 palas) sujetando un ade las aspas y sacándola de la bomba. La hélice se mantiene en posición mediante un imán, por lo que sentirá cierta resistencia al retirar esta pieza. Limpie las partes de la bomba con agua tibia y jabón, aclárelas bien y luego vuelva a montarla.

1. Prima dell’uso, sciacquare tutti i componenti della fontana (tranne l’adattatore) con acqua calda. In questo modo saranno rimossi i residui del processo di produzione. Inserire il filtro in schiuma all’interno della ciotola come indicato.

2. Collocare la pompa nel filtro in schiuma sul fondo della ciotola con il cavo di alimentazione più vicino possibile al foro sul retro della ciotola. Premere in basso sulla pompa per applicare le ventose.

3. Una volta che la pompa è saldamente in posizione, infilare il cavo di alimentazione elettrica attraverso il foro sul retro della ciotola facendolo fuoriuscire dalla tacca nella base della ciotola.

4. Tirare il cavo di alimentazione per rimuoverne la parte lasca e spingere con decisione la guarnizione in gomma del cavo di alimentazione nel foro.

5. Fissare il connettore in gomma al tubo della pompa se non è già collegato.

6. Aprire l’alloggiamento del filtro agendo sulle linguette per aprire.

7. Sciacquare accuratamente il filtro a carbone attivo in acqua fredda per rimuovere ogni residuo di polvere di carbone. Inserire il lato arrotondato del filtro a carbone attivo nel lato concavo (lato A) dell’alloggiamento del filtro.

8. Chiudere l’alloggiamento del filtro allineando i fermagli e premendo in basso finché non si avverte lo scatto di chiusura.

9. Inserire l’alloggiamento del filtro nel tubo della

pompa. Fissare la base dell’alloggiamento del filtro al tubo della pompa.

10. Allineare la linguetta dell’alloggiamento del filtro con la tacca sagomata nella ciotola. Il lato piatto (lato B) dell’alloggiamento del filtro si troverà di fronte al lato anteriore della ciotola.

11. Collegare la torre allineandola alle tacche in rilievo sul retro della ciotola.

12. Inserire la manopola per il controllo del flusso nel foro sulla parte superiore della torre. Ruotare in senso orario la manopola per aumentare il flusso idrico. Ruotare in senso antiorario la manopola per ridurre il flusso idrico o per arrestarlo.

13. Collegare il coperchio alla torre. Sollevare la fontana per animali domestici per la ciotola e collocarla nella posizione desiderata. Versare acqua nella ciotola lasciando almeno 13 mm di spazio tra il livello dell’acqua e il bordo della ciotola.

14. Verificare che mani, adattatore e cavo di alimentazione elettrica siano completamente asciutti. Collegare la spina di raccordo e assicurarsi che l’argento non sia visibile, quindi collegare l’adattatore a una presa della rete elettrica.

NOTA: per evitare che la pompa possa guastarsi, non far scendere mai il livello dell’acqua a

meno di 2,5 cm dalla base della ciotola.

Pulizia della fontana per animali domestici

NOTA: sostituire il filtro a carboni attivi ogni 2-4 settimane e il filtro in schiuma ogni 1-2 mesi.

1. Togliere la spina della fontana per animali domestici e scollegare la spina di raccordo.

2. Sollevare la fontana per animali domestici per la ciotola, e avvicinarla al lavandino.

3. Versare l’acqua, quindi smontare la fontana per animali domestici.

4. Eliminare il filtro a carbone attivo e il filtro in schiuma. Pulire la pompa (vedere la sezione Pulizia della pompa per le relative istruzioni). Utilizzare una soluzione all’80% di acqua e al 20% di aceto bianco per rimuovere il calcare.

5. Lavare tutti gli altri componenti con acqua calda saponata o posizionare sul cestello superiore della lavastoviglie.

NOTA: non lavare l’adattatore, il connettore in gomma o la pompa in lavastoviglie.

Pulizia della pompa

1. Rimuovere la mascherina. È possibile che

dobbiate utilizzare un’unghia o un altro oggetto sottile per far leva.

2. Rimuovere la piastra di ingresso a goccia, di colore giallo, tirando la piccola linguetta per allontanarla dalla pompa.

3. Rimuovere la girante (l’elica bianca a 3 pale) tenendo una della pale e tirando per estrarla dalla pompa. La girante è fissata magneticamente in sede e si avvertirà una certa resistenza nel rimuovere questo componente. Pulire i componenti della pompa con acqua calda saponata, sciacquare bene, quindi rimontare.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Haustiere an keinem der Teile nagen oder sie verschlucken. Falls Sie Bedenken haben, dass Ihr Haustier das Netzkabel annagen könnte, kaufen Sie eine Kabelführung (einen harten Plastikschutz) in einem Baumarkt.

• Die Kunststoffbestandteile des Trinkbrunnens sind BPA-FREI. Manche Haustiere reagieren jedoch empfindlich auf Fressnäpfe und Wasserbehälter aus Plastik. Falls Ihr Haustier Anzeichen einer allergischen Reaktion auf den Kunststoff zeigt, unterbrechen Sie die Verwendung bitte solange, bis Sie mit Ihrem Tierarzt gesprochen haben.

• Nicht ungefüllt betreiben. Stets darauf achten, dass der Trinkbrunnen mit Wasser befüllt ist.

• Versuchen Sie nicht, die Pumpe zu reparieren.

• Niemals am Netzkabel ziehen, um den Stromadapter aus der Steckdose zu ziehen.

• Zum Herausziehen aus der Steckdose den Stromadapter greifen, nicht das Netzkabel.

• Um zu vermeiden, dass der Stromadapter oder die Steckdose nass werden, sollte sich die Steckdose stets oberhalb des Trinkbrunnens befinden.

• Falls ein Verlängerungskabel erforderlich ist, verwenden Sie nur zertifizierte Verlängerungskabel.

• Der Stromverbrauch dieses Geräts beträgt 9 Watt.

• Aufsätze, die vom Hersteller nicht empfohlen oder verkauft werden, können zu unsicheren Betriebsbedingungen führen. Nehmen Sie keine Änderungen am Gerät vor.

• Das Gerät nicht an einem Ort installieren oder aufbewahren, wo es Wetterbedingungen oder Temperaturen unterhalb 4,5 °C ausgesetzt ist.

• Lesen und berücksichtigen Sie alle wichtigen an dem Gerät und an der Verpackung aufgeführten Hinweise.

• Waschen Sie die Filter niemals mit Seifenwasser, da Seifenrückstände in die Filter gelangen und nicht wieder entfernt werden können. Spülen Sie die Filter nur mit Wasser.

Montage des Trinkbrunnens

1. Spülen Sie sämtliche Bestandteile des Brunnens (außer den Adapter) vor dem Gebrauch mit warmem Wasser ab. Somit werden Rückstände entfernt, die bei der Herstellung zurückgeblieben sind. Platzieren Sie den Schaumfilter wie dargestellt in der Schüssel.

2. Platzieren Sie die Pumpe im Schaumfilter auf dem Schüsselboden so, dass das Netzkabel sich möglichst in der Nähe des Lochs an der Rückseite der Schüssel befindet. Drücken Sie die Pumpe hinunter, um die Saugnäpfe zu befestigen.

3. Sobald die Pumpe sicher befestigt ist, führen Sie das Netzkabel durch das Loch an der Rückseite der Schüssel und aus der Einkerbung am Boden der Schüssel hinaus.

4. Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel straff und drücken Sie die Gummidichtung am Netzkabel fest in das Loch.

5. Befestigen Sie den Gummianschluss am

6. Öffnen Sie das Filtergehäuse, indem Sie die Laschen auseinander ziehen.

7. Spülen Sie den Aktivkohlefilter gründlich mit kaltem Wasser, um jeglichen losen Kohlestaub zu entfernen. Führen Sie die runde Seite des Aktivkohlefilters in die runde Seite (Seite A) des Filtergehäuses ein.

8. Schließen Sie das Filtergehäuse, indem Sie die Klammern ausrichten und nach unten drücken, bis diese einrasten.

9. Führen Sie das Filtergehäuse in das Pumpenrohr ein. Befestigen Sie den Boden des Filtergehäuses am Pumpenrohr.

10. Richten Sie die Lasche des Filtergehäuses auf die angehobene Einkerbung an der Schüssel aus. Die flache Seite (Seite B) des Filtergehäuses zeigt dabei auf die Vorderseite der Schüssel.

11. Befestigen Sie den Turm, indem Sie ihn auf die angehobenen Einkerbungen auf der Rückseite der Schüssel ausrichten.

12. Führen Sie den Durchflussregler durch das Loch an der Oberseite des Turms. Drehen Sie den Regler im Uhrzeigersinn, um den Wasserstrahl zu maximieren. Wenn Sie ihn entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen, wird der Wasserstrahl verringert bzw. ausgeschaltet.

13. Befestigen Sie den Deckel auf dem Turm. Halten

Sie den Trinkbrunnen an der Schüssel fest und stellen sie ihn an die gewünschte Stelle. Gießen Sie Wasser in die Schüssel. Lassen Sie dabei mindestens 13 mm Abstand zwischen dem Wasserspiegel und dem Rand der Schüssel.

14. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Netzkabel, der Stromadapter und Ihre Hände vollkommen trocken sind. Schließen Sie den Inline-Stecker an und stellen Sie sicher, dass kein Silber mehr zu sehen ist, und schließen Sie dann den Adapter in einer Steckdose an.

HINWEIS: Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserspiegel, gemessen ab dem Boden der Schüssel,

niemals unter 2,5 cm fällt, da es sonst zu einem Versagen der Pumpe kommen kann.

Reinigung des Trinkbrunnens

HINWEIS: Ersetzen Sie den Aktivkohlefilter alle zwei bis vier Wochen und den Schaumfilter alle

ein bis zwei Monate.

1. Ziehen Sie den Stecker des Trinkbrunnens und den Inline-Stecker heraus.

2. Heben Sie den Trinkbrunnen an der Schüssel an und stellen Sie ihn in ein Spülbecken.

3. Schütten Sie das verbliebene Wasser in den Abfluss und beginnen Sie mit der Demontage des Trinkbrunnens.

4. Entsorgen Sie den Aktivkohlefilter und den Schaumfilter. Reinigen Sie die Pumpe (beachten Sie den Abschnitt Reinigung der Pumpe bezüglich der Reinigungsanweisungen). Verwenden Sie eine Lösung, bestehend aus 80 % Wasser und 20 % klarem Essig, um Kalkwasserablagerungen zu entfernen.

5. Waschen Sie alle anderen Teile mit warmem Wasser und Seife ab, oder platzieren Sie sie im obersten Fach Ihrer Geschirrspülmaschine.

HINWEIS: Der Adapter, der Gummianschluss oder die Pumpe dürfen nicht in der Spülmaschine

gewaschen werden.

Reinigung der Pumpe

1. Entfernen Sie die Frontplatte. Eventuell müssen Sie diese mit Ihrem Fingernagel oder einem anderen schmalen Objekt herauslösen.

2. Entfernen Sie die gelbe, tropfenförmige Ansaugplatte, indem Sie die kleine Lasche aus der Pumpe herausziehen.

3. Entfernen Sie den Impeller (weißer, dreiflügeliger Propeller), indem Sie einen der Flügel festhalten und ihn dann aus der Pumpe herausziehen. Der Impeller wird magnetisch am Platz gehalten und Sie werden einen leichten Widerstand bei der Entnahme dieses Bestandteils verspüren. Reinigen Sie die Pumpenteile mit warmem Wasser und Seife und spülen Sie sie gut ab. Anschließend können Sie mit der erneuten Montage beginnen.
