Hanging Kit Installation Instructions

For HF and BK Fans

Chain and S-hooks included with HF fans; must be purchased separately for BK fans.

CONTENTS

In this package, you should find:

• 10 feet of chain

• (4) S-hooks

INSTALLATION

The fan should only be hung
from a stationary and secure
part of the building structure
such as the rafter beams.

For HF fans: Use “S” hooks
provided in any of the slots in
the fan casing as shown in
Figure 1.

For BK fans: Attach two of
the “S” hooks to the basket
guard. Insert the other two
hooks into the pre-punched
holes on the motor bracket.
See Figure 2.

The chain may be cut to
desired length and used with
the “S” hooks. Note that the
lengths of the chains and the
positions of the hooks will
determine the position and
stability of the fan and the
direction of the airflow.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN AND O NLY AFTER
DISCONNECTING THE POWER SOURCE.
FAILURE TO OBSERVE THESE PRECAUTIONS
