Pelican Products, Inc. (“Pelican”) warrants to the original purchaser its Remote
Area Lighting Systems (RALS) and all other products manufactured by the
Remote Area Lighting System (RALS) against defects in materials and workman-
ship under normal use, service, and maintenance for a period of twelve months
from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser
and is not transferable.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF
ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED
TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; AND (B) ALL OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND ANY LIABILITY NOT BASED UPON CONTRACT ARE HEREBY
DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED.

With valid dated proof of purchase, Pelican will either repair or replace ay
defective part, at our sole option. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE
REMEDIES HEREBY PROVIDED SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE
REMEDIES OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER. Any repaired or replacement
part or unit is covered only for the unexpired portion of the warranty on the original product purchased.
To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must contact Pelican Products, Inc. at
23215 Early Avenue, Torrance, CA 90505 or csrwarranty@pelican.com, or by
calling 1-800-473-5422, extension 5. Any warranty claims shall be made by the
purchaser as soon as practicable and in no event more than twelve months from
the date of purchase. The purchaser must provide valid dated proof of purchase
and obtain a return authorization number from Pelican Customer Service prior to
returning any product, and is responsible for paying for all warranty freight costs.
If Pelican determines that any returned product is not defective, within the terms
of this warranty, the purchaser shall pay Pelican all costs of handling, return
freight and repairs at Pelican’s prevailing rates.
All warranty claims of any nature are barred if the product has been altered or in
any way physically changed, or subjected to abuse, misuse, negligence or accident.
Some states and countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied war-
ranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages,
so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives
you specic legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to
state and country to country.
In Australia: The benets provided to you under this warranty are in addition to
your rights and remedies as a consumer under the Competition and Consumer
Act 2010 (Cth). Nothing in this warranty limits the rights or obligations of a party
under provisions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) in relation to
the supply to consumers of goods which cannot be limited, modied or excluded.
If applicable, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major
failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or

USER MANUAL
MAST OPERATION
1. Lift the LED head fully upwards then slide the mast down to lock
into the mount.
2. Pull the lever on the black locking clamp, lift the head upwards to
the desired height and push the lever back into place.
3. To collapse the mast, reverse the procedure.
LIGHT OPERATION
1. Press the power switch (located on the backside of the light head)
once for high mode.
2. Press again for low mode.
3. Press again to turn off.
FLASHING MODE: From the Off position, press and hold the switch
for 6 seconds for ashing high mode. Press again for ashing low
mode. Press again for Off.
THE END USER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUITABILITY OF
THE MATERIALS IN THE ENCLOSURE WITH REGARD TO THE
POSSIBILITY OF CHEMICALS IN THE USAGE AREA.
LOW BATTERY WARNING:
The light head will ash for a short period every 10 minutes during the
last 30 minutes of operation to let the user know that the battery level
is low. This warning will become constant during the last 5 minutes of
operation.

1. Insert the blue male charger plug into the blue female socket on the
rear of the light housing and twist the blue locking collar to secure
the plug.
2. Plug the charger into the electrical outlet to begin charging.

At the end of its technical life, the battery should be sent to a suitable

BATTERY CONDITIONING
It is important that the new battery in this product is fully charged prior to
initial use. The charger should be left connected to the product after the
green indicator on the charger is permanently on. In this state the battery
receives a trickle charge and should be left connected for the 18-24 hours.
There will be improvement to the light duration if this is repeated for the
rst 8-10 charge cycles

OR DAMAGE BATTERIES CAN BE DANGEROUS!
Most battery issues arise from improper handling of batteries, and
particularly from the use of damaged or counterfeit batteries. Please review the
information below to avoid serious injury and/or damage to your property.
Rechargeable Batteries
1. Hazardous location safety approvals for explosive environments are only valid for
the Pelican battery pack that is supplied with the light.
2. For replacement battery packs only use the approved Pelican battery pack for the
model of the light that you are using. The use of other battery packs will invalidate
the safety approval.
3. Lights should only be charged in a non-hazardous location.
4. Lights should only be charged using the Pelican charger base that is supplied
with the light.
5. Lights should be charged and operated between the temperatures shown:
Charge Temperature: -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F)
Operating Temperature: -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F).
6. Do not charge with alkaline batteries installed in the light.
Attempting this can cause internal gas or heat generation
resulting in venting, explosion or possibly re.
7. Deep discharge of the rechargeable battery may cause batteries
to vent potentially dangerous gasses and electrolytes.
Always dispose of all batteries properly at an approved battery recycling center.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL MÁSTIL
1. Levante el cabezal del LED hacia arriba completamente y a continuación

devolverse al punto de compra.
ACONDICIONAMIENTO DE LA BATERÍA
Es importante cargar totalmente la nueva batería del producto antes de su
primer uso para obtener el máximo rendimiento. El producto debe quedarse
enchufado al cargador cuando la luz verde esté ja. En este estado la batería
recibe una carga de mantenimiento y debe dejarse enchufada de 18 a 24
horas. Si se repite este proceso durante los primeros 8 a 10 ciclos de carga
aumentará la duración del haz de luz.

FONCTIONNEMENT DU MÂT
1. Soulever entièrement la tête LED vers le haut, puis glisser le mât vers le
bas pour le verrouiller dans le socle.
2. Tirer le levier de la bride de xation noire, soulever la tête vers le haut
jusqu’à la hauteur souhaitée, puis repousser le levier en place.
3. Pour rétracter le mât, procéder dans l’ordre inverse.
FONCTIONNEMENT DE LA LAMPE
1. Appuyer une fois sur l’interrupteur d’alimentation (qui se trouve à l’arrière
de la tête d’éclairage) pour le mode intense.
2. Appuyer de nouveau pour le mode faible.
3. Appuyer encore une fois pour éteindre.
MODE CLIGNOTANT : De la position éteinte, maintenir l’interrupteur
enfoncé pendant 6 secondes pour le mode intense clignotant.
Appuyer de nouveau pour le mode faible clignotant. Appuyer encore une
fois pour éteindre.

Au terme de sa durée de vie technique, la batterie doit être envoyée à un
centre de recyclage approprié ou au point d’achat.
ENTRETIEN DE LA BATTERIE
Il est important que la batterie neuve de ce produit soit entièrement chargée
avant la première utilisation. Une fois le témoin vert du chargeur allumé
en permanence, le chargeur doit rester branché au produit. À ce stade, la
batterie reçoit une charge d’entretien et doit rester branchée de 18 à 24
heures. Si cette opération est répétée au cours des 8 à 10 premiers cycles
de charge, la lampe bénéciera d’une plus longue autonomie.
Cet appareil est conforme à la partie 15 des Règles FCC. L’utilisation
dépend des deux conditions suivantes :
(1) Cet appareil ne doit pas causer d’interférence nuisible et
(2) Cet appareil doit accepter toute interférence, y compris les interférences
susceptibles d’entraîner un fonctionnement non désiré

impropre de ces dernières, notamment à l’utilisation de batteries endommagées ou contrefaites. Lire attentivement les informations ci-dessous, an
d’éviter tout risque de lésion corporelle et/ou de dommage matériel grave
de vos produits.
Batteries rechargeables
1. Les agréments de sécurité de site dangereux pour les environnements
explosifs sont valables uniquement pour le bloc-pile Pelican fourni avec
le système d’éclairage.
2. Pour remplacer le bloc-pile, utiliser uniquement un bloc-batterie Pelican
homologué pour le modèle du système d’éclairage utilisé. L’utilisation
d’autres blocs-piles annulera l’agrément de sécurité.
3. Le système d’éclairage doit être rechargé uniquement dans un site non
dangereux.
4. Le système d’éclairage doit être rechargé uniquement à l’aide de la
base-chargeur Pelican fournie avec le système d’éclairage.
5. Le système d’éclairage doit être rechargé et ne doit fonctionner que dans
les plages de température indiquées ci-dessous :
Température de charge : -20 °C à 50 °C
Température de fonctionnement : -20 °C à 50 °C.
