The new PoE Switches with embedded Device Management System (DMS) software offer ease of use in IP security
applications. Security operators can save time, establish and document a baseline deployment, and automatically discover
and remotely control PoE-enabled devices.

DIRECT MANAGEMENT OF ATTACHED PD

Provides the capability of direct management and control of
the attached IP-addressable powered devices from the
embedded DMS

NETWORK DIAGNOSTICS

Enabled the switch with enhanced diagnostics including IP
connectivity and physical layer cabling checks and tests.

NETWORK MONITORING

An easy way to make health checking of PDs with ICMP ping
“keep alive” and auto-alarming for exceeded thresholds with
the real-time graphical monitoring of traffic and statistics
offered by DMS.

TOPOLOGY VIEW

Provides end-to-end visibility of attached PDs with remote
access into each device.

FLOOR VIEW

Allows the designer to import existing JPEG floor and site
drawing into DMS.

GOOGLE MAPSTM VIEW

Locate PD devices by state, city, and street address.

IEEE 802.3AT POE+

Supplies up to 30 Watts per port and automatically detects PoE
devices and their power class.

AUTO POWER RESET

Automatically monitors and resets powered devices.

LLDP-MED

Allows the end-point devices to exchange power related
information including power priority and power value of the
powered device.
