QUICK START GUIDE

This guide will help you understand the basics of piloting Parrot Rolling Spider. For more information, watch our videos and refer to the support section of our website www.parrot.com.

Charging the battery

1.Insert the battery into the appropriate compartment (diagram 1).

2.Connect the Parrot Rolling Spider to a USB charger or to your computer using the USB/mi- cro-USB cable provided (diagram 2). The charging time for the battery is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Note : To remove the battery, lift the black part located above it (diagram 1’).

Downloading the application

Connect to the App StoreSM or Google PlayTM and download the FreeFlight 3 app free of charge.

Switching on the Parrot Rolling Spider

Insert the battery into the battery compartment or tap on the On/Off button to switch on the Parrot Rolling Spider.

The On/Off button is located under the Parrot Rolling Spider, below and to the right of the vertical camera.

Connecting a smartphone

Note : You need a smartphone or a tablet which supports Bluetooth® 4.0 to be able to use the Parrot Rolling Spider.

1.Insert the battery into the appropriate compartment.

2.Place the Parrot Rolling Spider on the floor and wait for the lights to turn green.

3.Activate the Bluetooth function on your smartphone.

4.Launch the FreeFlight 3 app. The Parrot Rolling Spider will connect automatically to your smartphone.

5.Press FREE FLIGHT to fly the Parrot Rolling Spider.

Attaching the wheels

The wheels protect the Parrot Rolling Spider in the event of collision with another object. They also allow it to move easily over floor, walls and ceiling. To attach the wheels:

1.Place the central axle through the middle of each wheel (diagram 3).

2.Place the axle on the upper section of the Parrot Rolling Spider.

3.Clip on the wheels by pulling down the release lever (diagram 4).

Connecter un smartphone

1.Insérez la batterie dans l’emplacement prévu à cet effet.

2.Posez le Parrot Rolling Spider sur le sol et patientez jusqu’à ce que les voyants deviennent verts.

3.Activez la fonction Bluetooth sur votre smartphone.

4.Lancez l’application FreeFlight 3. La connexion s’établit automatiquement entre le smartphone et le Parrot Rolling Spider.

5.Appuyez sur VOL LIBRE pour piloter le Parrot Rolling Spider.

Installer les roues

Les roues du Parrot Rolling Spider permettent de le protéger en cas de collision. Elles permettent également de le faire rouler au sol, sur les murs et au plafond.

1.Clipsez les 2 roues à l’axe central (schéma 3).

2.Insérez l’axe au sommet du Parrot Rolling Spider.

3.Clipsez le levier de verrouillage (schéma 4).

Pour retirer les roues, poussez le levier de verrouillage vers la droite.

Cargar la batería

Laden der Batterie

Legen Sie die Batterie in das dafür vorgesehene Fach ein oder drücken Sie auf die Taste On/Off, um den Parrot Rolling Spider einzuschalten.

Instalar las ruedas

Batteria

La temperatura della batteria non deve mai superare i 60 °C (140 °F). Non disassemblare mai né modificare il cablaggio della scatola né tanto meno perforare le celle. Non sistemare mai la batteria su materiali combustibili e non lasciarla incustodita durante la ricarica. Effettuare sempre la ricarica in un luogo a prova di incendio.
