Indicazioni generali

di sicurezza per elettro utensili

AVVERTENZA!

► Leggere tutte le indicazioni relative alla

sicurezza e le istruzioni. L'errata applicazione delle indicazioni relative alla sicurezza e delle istruzioni può causare scosse elettriche, incendi e / o gravi lesioni.

NOTA

► È possibile che alcune norme nazionali

contengano restrizioni in merito all'impiego dell'apparecchio.

Conservare le indicazioni relative alla sicurezza e le istruzioni per uso futuro.

Il termine "elettroutensile" utilizzato nelle indicazioni di sicurezza si riferisce a elettroutensili collegabili alla rete elettrica (con cavo di rete) e a elettroutensili a batteria (senza cavo di rete).

1. Sicurezza sul posto di lavoro

a) M

antenere l'area di lavoro pulita e ben illumi-

nata. Il disordine e la scarsa illuminazione dell'a-

rea di lavoro potrebbero dare luogo a infortuni.

b) Non lavorare con elettroutensili in ambienti

a rischio di esplosione, in presenza di liquidi, gas o polveri inﬁammabili. Gli elettroutensili

generano scintille che possono incendiare la polvere o i vapori.

c) Tenere lontani i bambini e altre persone

durante l'uso dell'elettroutensile. In caso di distrazione, si potrebbe perdere il controllo dell'apparecchio.

2. Sicurezza elettrica

a) La spina dell'elettroutensile deve essere ido-

nea all'inserimento nella presa. La spina non deve essere assolutamente modiﬁcata. Non utilizzare connettori adattatori con elettroutensili collegati a terra. Le spine non

modiﬁcate e le prese idonee riducono il rischio di scosse elettriche.

b) Evitare il contatto corporeo con superﬁci col-

legate a terra, come tubi, termosifoni, stufe e frigoriferi. Quando il corpo è a diretto contatto

con la terra sussiste un maggiore pericolo di scosse elettriche.

c) Tenere gli elettroutensili lontano dalla piog-

gia o dall'umidità. La penetrazione di acqua in un apparecchio elettrico aumenta il rischio di scosse elettriche.

d) Non utilizzare il cavo elettrico per scopi

non conformi, come ad es. per trasportare l'elettro utensile, per appenderlo o per scollegare la spina dalla presa. Tenere il cavo lontano dal calore, dall'olio, da bordi aﬃlati o da parti dell'apparecchio in movimento. I

cavi danneggiati o aggrovigliati aumentano il rischio di scosse elettriche.

e) Se si lavora all'aperto con un elettroutensile,

utilizzare solo una prolunga omologata anche per uso esterno. L'utilizzo di una prolunga

idonea all'uso esterno riduce il rischio di scosse elettriche.

f) Se è inevitabile l'uso dell'elettroutensile in

ambiente umido, utilizzare un interruttore diﬀerenziale. L'uso di un interruttore diﬀerenzia-

le evita il rischio di scosse elettriche.

3. Sicurezza delle persone

a) Agire sempre con attenzione, osservare le

proprie azioni e procedere in modo ragionevole nel lavoro con un elettroutensile. Non utilizzare l'elettroutensile se si è malati o stanchi o se sono state assunte sostanze come droghe, alcol o farmaci. Un momento

di disattenzione nell'uso dell'elettroutensile può dare luogo a gravi lesioni.

b) Indossare dispositivi di protezione individuali

e sempre occhiali di protezione. L'uso di un dispositivo di protezione individuale come mascherina antipolvere, scarpe antiscivolo, casco protettivo o paraorecchi acustici, a seconda dell'uso e dell'impiego dell'elettroutensile, riduce il rischio di lesioni.

Evitare l'accensione involontaria. Accertarsi che l'elettroutensile sia spento prima di collegarlo all'alimentazione e/o alla batteria, sollevarlo o trasportarlo. Se si tiene il dito sull'interrut-

tore mentre si sposta l'elettroutensile o si collega l'apparecchio alla rete elettrica con l'interruttore su ON, si possono veriﬁcare infortuni.

d) Rimuovere gli utensili di regolazione o le

chiavi inglesi prima di accendere l'elettroutensile. Un utensile o una chiave lasciati in

una parte rotante dell'apparecchio possono provocare lesioni.

e) Evitare posture innaturali. Provvedere a una

posizione sicura e mantenere sempre l'equilibrio. In tal modo si può controllare meglio

l'elettroutensile in situazioni impreviste.

f) Indossare un abbigliamento idoneo. Non

indossare abiti larghi o gioielli. Tenere lontani i capelli, gli abiti e i guanti dalle parti in movimento. Gli abiti ampi e pendenti, i gioielli

o i capelli lunghi possono impigliarsi nelle parti mobili.

g) Se è possibile montare aspirapolvere e dispo-

sitivi di raccolta, accertarsi che siano collegati e che vengano utilizzati correttamente.

L'uso di un aspirapolvere può ridurre i pericoli associati alla polvere.

4. Uso e trattamento dell'elettroutensile

a) Non sovraccaricare l'apparecchio. Utilizzare

l'elettroutensile idoneo al proprio lavoro. Con

l'elettroutensile adatto si lavora meglio e con maggiore sicurezza nel campo di applicazione indicato.

b) Non utilizzare elettroutensili con interruttore

guasto. Un elettroutensile che non si riesce più a spegnere o ad accendere è pericoloso e deve essere riparato.

c) Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente e/o

rimuovere la batteria prima di eseguire impostazioni dell'apparecchio, sostituire gli accessori o riporre l'apparecchio. Questa misura

precauzionale impedisce l'avvio involontario dell'elettroutensile.

d) Conservare gli elettroutensili non utilizzati

fuori della portata dei bambini. Non consentire l'uso dell'apparecchio a persone inesperte o che non abbiano letto le presenti istruzioni.

Gli elettroutensili sono pericolosi se utilizzati da persone inesperte.

e) Trattare gli elettroutensili con cura. Controllare

che le parti mobili dell'apparecchio funzionino perfettamente e non si inceppino e che non vi siano elementi rotti o danneggiati al punto da compromettere la funzione dell'elettro utensile. Fare riparare le parti danneggiate prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio. Molti infortuni derivano

da una cattiva manutenzione degli elettroutensili.

f) Mantenere gli utensili da taglio ben aﬃlati e

puliti. Gli utensili da taglio trattati con cura e con bordi di taglio aﬃlati si inceppano meno spesso e sono più facili da controllare.

g) Utilizzare elettroutensili, accessori, utensili,

ecc. conformi a queste istruzioni. Tenere conto delle condizioni di lavoro e dell'attività da eseguire. L'uso di elettroutensili per applicazioni

diverse da quelle previste può dare luogo a situazioni di pericolo.

5. Uso e trattamento dell'utensile a batteria

a) Caricare le batterie solo con i caricabatterie

che vengono consigliati dal costruttore. Utiliz-

zando un caricabatterie adatto a un determinato tipo di batteria con batterie diverse, sussiste il pericolo di incendio.

b) Utilizzare solo le batterie appositamente

previste per gli elettroutensili. L'uso di batterie diverse può dare luogo a lesioni e pericolo di incendio.

c) Tenere la batteria non utilizzata lontano da

graﬀette, monete, chiavi, chiodi, viti o altra minuteria in metallo, poiché tali oggetti potrebbero provocare un cortocircuito fra i contatti.

Un cortocircuito fra i contatti della batteria può dare luogo a ustioni o incendio.

d) In caso di utilizzo scorretto, potrebbe fuo-

riuscire del liquido dalla batteria. Evitare il contatto con questo liquido. In caso di contatto accidentale, sciacquare con acqua. Se il liquido entra a contatto con gli occhi, consultare un medico. Il liquido che fuoriesce dalla

batteria potrebbe provocare irritazioni cutanee o ustioni.

CAUTELA! PERICOLO DI ESPLOSIONE!

Non caricare mai batterie non ricaricabili.

Proteggere la batteria dal calore, per

es. anche da irradiazione solare permanente, fuoco, acqua e umidità.

Sussiste il pericolo di esplosione.

6. Assistenza

a) Fare riparare l'elettroutensile solo da per-

sonale qualiﬁcato specializzato e solo con ricambi originali. In tal modo si garantisce la

sicurezza dell'elettroutensile.

Indicazioni relative alla sicurezza speciﬁche per potatrici ad asta

■ Indossare sempre un casco, paraorecchi acustici

e guanti di protezione. Indossare anche occhiali di protezione per proteggere gli occhi da spruzzi di olio o polvere di segatura. Indossare una mascherina contro la polvere.

■ Non usare mai l'apparecchio quando ci si trova

su una scala.

■ Non sporgersi troppo in avanti durante l'uso

dell'apparecchio. Assumere sempre una posizione sicura e mantenere sempre l'equilibrio. Utilizzare la tracolla compresa nella dotazione per distribuire uniformemente il peso sul corpo.

■ Indossare stivali robusti e antiscivolo.

■ Non utilizzare l'apparecchio in caso di pioggia

o umidità.

■ Non utilizzare l'apparecchio nelle vicinanze

di cavi elettrici. Mantenere una distanza di sicurezza di almeno 10 m dalle linee elettriche sopra terra.

■ Per evitare lesioni da rami che cadono, non po-

sizionarsi sotto i rami che si desidera tagliare. Per evitare lesioni, fare attenzione ai rami che rimbalzano all'indietro. Lavorare con un angolo di circa 60°.

■ Prestare attenzione a un possibile contraccolpo

dell'apparecchio.

■ Per evitare il pericolo di inciampo, non osser-

vare solo i rami da lavorare, bensì anche il materiale caduto.

■ Fare una pausa di almeno un'ora dopo

30 minuti di lavoro.

■ Indossare sempre guanti protettivi.

■ Coprire il binario di guida e la catena con la

copertura durante il trasporto e lo stoccaggio.

■ Non utilizzare l'apparecchio in una zona po-

tenzialmente esplosiva, come in prossimità di liquidi inﬁammabili, gas o vapori. Le scintille generate dalla macchina potrebbero incendiare tali vapori o gas.

■ La presa usata deve essere adatta alla spina.

Per evitare una scossa elettrica, non apportare mai modiﬁche alla presa.

■ Staccare la spina dalla presa senza tirare il

cavo, bensì aﬀerrando la spina stessa. Non utilizzare il cavo per tirare l'apparecchio o trasportarlo. Tenere il cavo lontano dal calore, dall'olio, da bordi aﬃlati o da parti in movimento.

■ Al termine dei lavori o durante i lavori di pulizia

e manutenzione, rimuovere il pacco batteria dall'apparecchio.

■ Evitare l'accensione accidentale dell'appa-

recchio.

■ Per evitare danni e lesioni, gli apparecchi con

interruttore difettoso vanno subito riparati.

■ Conservare l'apparecchio fuori dalla portata

dei bambini. Solo persone che conoscono l'apparecchio e le istruzioni possono usarli.

■ Sottoporre gli elettroutensili a manutenzione

accurata. Controllare che le parti mobili dell'apparecchio funzionino perfettamente e non si inceppino e che non vi siano elementi rotti o danneggiati al punto da compromettere la funzione dell'elettroutensile. Fare riparare le parti danneggiate prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio. Molti infortuni derivano da una cattiva manutenzione degli elettroutensili.

■ Mantenere gli utensili da taglio ben aﬃlati e

puliti. Gli utensili da taglio trattati con cura e con bordi di taglio aﬃlati si inceppano meno spesso e sono più facili da controllare.

■ Fare eseguire la manutenzione dell'apparecchio

da personale qualiﬁcato. Utilizzare solo pezzi di ricambio originali consigliati dal produttore.

Misure di prevenzione contro i contraccolpi

ATTENZIONE AI CONTRACCOLPI!

► Durante i lavori, fare attenzione ai contrac-

colpi dell'apparecchio. Sussiste il pericolo di lesioni. Evitare i contraccolpi procedendo con cautela e adottando una corretta tecnica di troncatura.

■ Un contatto con la punta del binario in alcuni

casi potrebbe causare una reazione inattesa a ritroso, in cui il binario di guida potrebbe essere colpito verso l'alto e proiettato in direzione dell'operatore (v. ﬁg. A).

■ Il contraccolpo può veriﬁcarsi se la punta del

binario di guida tocca un oggetto o se il legno si piega e la sega a catena si incastra nel taglio (vedere ﬁg. B).

■ Il blocco della sega a catena sul bordo

superiore del binario di guida può respingere violentemente la guida in direzione dell'operatore.

■ Ciascuna di queste reazioni può causare la

perdita di controllo sulla sega, arrecando lesioni eventualmente anche gravi. Non aﬃdarsi esclusivamente ai dispositivi di sicurezza installati nella sega a catena. Come utente di una sega a catena, adottare diverse misure per evitare infortuni e lesioni. Un contraccolpo è la conseguenza di un uso improprio o erroneo dell'elettroutensile. Tale evenienza è evitabile adottando idonee misure preventive, come descritto di seguito:

■ Tenere la sega con due mani, con pollice e

dita che aﬀerrano le impugnature della sega. Portare corpo e braccia in una posizione atta a resistere alle forze di contraccolpo. Adot-

tando misure idonee, l'operatore può controllare le forze di contraccolpo. Non lasciare mai libera la sega a catena.

■ Evitare una postura anormale. In tal modo si

evita un contatto accidentale con la punta della guida e si ottiene un controllo migliore della sega in situazioni impreviste.

■ Usare sempre le guide di ricambio e le catene

prescritte dal produttore. Guide e catene di

due mani. Non lavorare mai con una mano sola.

■ Aﬀerrare l'apparecchio solo dalle linguette di

presa isolate, in quanto la catena della sega potrebbe entrare a contatto con linee elettriche nascoste. Il contatto della catena della sega con una linea che conduce tensione potrebbe mettere sotto tensione anche le parti dell'apparecchio di metallo e causare così una scossa elettrica.

■ Quando si cambia postazione, assicurarsi che

l'apparecchio sia spento e il dito non tocchi l'interruttore ON/OFF. Non trasportare mai l'apparecchio con la catena della sega e la lama rivolte all'indietro. Per il trasporto applicare l'involucro di protezione della lama.

■ Per l'esecuzione di ogni taglio, inserire salda-

mente l'artiglio

■ Prestare la massima attenzione quando si

potano piccoli cespugli e rami. I rami sottili potrebbero impigliarsi nella sega e venire scagliati nella direzione dell'utente o fargli perdere l'equilibrio.

■ Non tagliare il legno poggiato sul terreno e

non cercare di segare le radici sporgenti dal terreno. Evitare in ogni caso che la sega a catena penetri nella terra, altrimenti si smusserà subito.

attenzione a un possibile contraccolpo originato dall'improvvisa assenza di tensione del legno. Sussiste il pericolo di lesioni.

■ Se l'accessorio da taglio si impigliasse o inca-

strasse nei rami, non cercare di liberare l'apparecchio con l'uso della forza. In tal caso spegnere immediatamente l'apparecchio e riaccenderlo solo dopo averlo liberato. Sussiste il pericolo di lesioni!

Pulizia e manutenzione

Instruções gerais de

segurança para ferramentas elétricas

AVISO!

► Leia todas as instruções de segurança e indi-

cações. O não cumprimento das instruções de segurança e indicações pode causar choque elétrico, incêndio e/ou ferimentos graves.

► As regras nacionais podem ser limitadas pela

utilização do aparelho.

Guarde todas as instruções de segurança e indicações para futuras consultas.

O conceito "ferramenta elétrica", utilizado nas instruções de segurança, refere-se a ferramentas elétricas operadas por rede elétrica (com cabo de alimentação) e a ferramentas elétricas operadas por acumulador (sem cabo de alimentação).

1. Segurança no local de trabalho

a) Mantenha o seu local de trabalho limpo e

bem iluminado. Desarrumação e áreas de

trabalho pouco iluminadas podem causar acidentes.

b) Não trabalhe com a ferramenta elétrica em

atmosferas potencialmente explosivas, onde se encontram líquidos, gases ou poeiras inﬂamáveis. As ferramentas elétricas originam

faíscas que podem inﬂamar poeiras e vapores.

c) Durante a utilização da ferramenta elétrica,

mantenha crianças e outras pessoas afastadas. Em caso de distração pode perder o

controlo do aparelho.

2. Segurança elétrica

a) A ﬁcha de ligação da ferramenta elétrica

tem de ser adequada à tomada. A ﬁcha não pode, de forma alguma, ser alterada. Não utilize quaisquer ﬁchas de adaptadores em conjunto com ferramentas elétricas com proteção de ligação à terra. Fichas inaltera-

das e tomadas adequadas reduzem o risco de choque elétrico.

b) Evite o contacto físico com superfícies ligadas

à terra, como tubos, aquecimentos, fogões e frigoríﬁcos. Existe um risco elevado de choque

elétrico, se o seu corpo estiver ligado à terra.

c) Mantenha as ferramentas elétricas afastadas

de chuva ou humidade. A inﬁltração de água num aparelho elétrico aumenta o risco de choque elétrico.

d) Não utilize o cabo para um ﬁm diferente do

previsto, p. ex. para transportar, pendurar a ferramenta elétrica ou puxar a ﬁcha da tomada. Mantenha o cabo afastado de calor, óleo, arestas aﬁadas ou peças móveis do aparelho. Cabos daniﬁcados ou enrolados

aumentam o risco de choque elétrico.

e) Se trabalhar com uma ferramenta elétrica ao

ar livre, utilize apenas extensões que também sejam adequadas para o exterior. A utilização

de uma extensão adequada para o exterior diminui o risco de choque elétrico.

f) Se não for possível evitar a utilização da

ferramenta elétrica num ambiente húmido, utilize um disjuntor diferencial residual.

A utilização de um disjuntor diferencial residual reduz o risco de choque elétrico.

3. Segurança de pessoas

a) Esteja sempre atento, observe o que está a

fazer e utilize a ferramenta elétrica de forma sensata. Não utilize a ferramenta elétrica se estiver doente, cansado ou com sono, ou sob a inﬂuência de drogas, álcool ou medicamentos. Um momento de distração durante a

utilização da ferramenta elétrica pode causar ferimentos graves.

b) Use o equipamento de proteção individual e

sempre óculos de proteção. O uso do equipamento de proteção individual, como máscara de proteção antipoeiras, calçado de segurança antiderrapante, capacete de proteção ou protetores auriculares, de acordo com o tipo e a aplicação da ferramenta elétrica, reduz o risco de ferimentos.

c) Evite uma colocação em funcionamento invo-

luntária. Certiﬁque-se de que a ferramenta elétrica se encontra desligada antes de a ligar à fonte de alimentação e/ou ao acumulador, elevar ou transportar. Se, durante o

transporte da ferramenta elétrica, tiver o dedo no interruptor ou ligar o aparelho a uma fonte de alimentação quando este já se encontra ligado, podem ocorrer acidentes.

d) Retire as ferramentas de ajuste ou chaves de

parafusos antes de ligar a ferramenta elétrica. Uma ferramenta ou uma chave numa parte

rotativa do aparelho pode causar ferimentos.

e) Evite uma postura corporal incorreta. Assegure

uma posição estável e mantenha sempre o equilíbrio. Desta forma, consegue controlar

melhor a ferramenta elétrica em situações inesperadas.

f) Use vestuário adequado. Não use roupas

largas ou joias. Mantenha o cabelo, o vestuário e as luvas afastados das peças móveis.

Vestuário solto, joias ou cabelos compridos podem ﬁcar presos nas peças móveis.

g) Se existir a possibilidade de montar aparelhos

de aspiração ou recolha de pó, certiﬁque-se de que são ligados e utilizados corretamente.

A utilização de um aparelho de aspiração de pó pode reduzir eventuais perigos devido a pó.

4. Utilização e conservação da ferramenta elétrica

a) Não sobrecarregue o aparelho. Utilize a

ferramenta elétrica apropriada para o seu trabalho. Com a ferramenta elétrica adequada,

trabalhará melhor e de forma mais segura na respetiva área de trabalho.

b) Não utilize qualquer ferramenta elétrica, cujo

interruptor esteja avariado. Uma ferramenta elétrica que não se consegue ligar nem desligar constitui perigo e tem de ser reparada.

c) Retire a ﬁcha da tomada e/ou o acumulador

antes de realizar ajustes no aparelho, substituir acessórios ou se não estiver a utilizar o aparelho. Esta medida de segurança evita o

arranque involuntário da ferramenta elétrica.

d) Guarde as ferramentas elétricas que não

estão a ser utilizadas fora do alcance das crianças. Não autorize a utilização do aparelho por pessoas que não estejam familiarizadas com o mesmo ou que não tenham lido estas instruções. As ferramentas elétricas são

perigosas, caso sejam utilizadas por pessoas inexperientes.

e) Faça uma manutenção cuidadosa das ferra-

mentas elétricas. Veriﬁque se as peças móveis funcionam corretamente e não estão encravadas, e se existem peças partidas ou daniﬁcadas a ponto de interferir no bom funcionamento da ferramenta elétrica. Antes de utilizar o aparelho, as peças daniﬁcadas devem ser reparadas. Muitos acidentes ocor-

rem devido à má manutenção das ferramentas elétricas.

f) Mantenha as ferramentas de corte aﬁadas e

limpas. Ferramentas de corte bem conservadas e aﬁadas encravam muito menos e são mais fáceis de conduzir.

g) Utilize a ferramenta elétrica, os acessórios,

as ferramentas de aplicação, etc., de acordo com estas instruções. Tenha em consideração as condições de trabalho e a atividade a exercer. A utilização de ferramentas elétricas

para utilizações diferentes das previstas pode originar situações perigosas.

5. Utilização e manuseamento da ferramenta sem ﬁo

a) Carregue os acumuladores apenas em carre-

gadores recomendados pelo fabricante. Se

um carregador adequado a um tipo especíﬁco de acumuladores for utilizado com outros acumuladores, existe perigo de incêndio.

b) Utilize apenas os acumuladores previstos

para a ferramenta elétrica em questão. A utilização de outros acumuladores pode causar ferimentos e perigo de incêndio.

c) Mantenha o acumulador que não está a ser

utilizado afastado de clipes, moedas, chaves, pregos, parafusos ou outros objetos de metal pequenos que possam causar um curto-circuito nos contactos. Um curto-circuito entre os con-

tactos do acumulador pode levar à ocorrência de queimaduras ou incêndio.

d) Se o acumulador for utilizado de forma

incorreta, é possível que verta líquido. Evite o contacto com este líquido. Em caso de contacto acidental, lave com água. Se o líquido entrar em contacto com os olhos, procure adicionalmente assistência médica. O líquido

vertido do acumulador pode provocar irritações ou queimaduras na pele.

CUIDADO! PERIGO DE EXPLOSÃO!

Nunca carregue pilhas não recarregáveis.

Proteja o acumulador contra calor,

p. ex. também contra incidência solar prolongada, fogo, água e humidade.

6. Assistência Técnica

a) A sua ferramenta elétrica só pode ser repara-

da por técnicos especializados e com peças sobresselentes de origem. Desta forma, é

garantida a segurança da ferramenta elétrica.

Instruções de segurança especíﬁcas para podadora em altura

■ Use sempre um capacete de proteção, prote-

tores auriculares e luvas de segurança. Use também proteção ocular, para que salpicos de óleo ou pó de serração não entrem nos olhos. Use uma máscara de proteção antipoeiras.

■ Nunca utilize o aparelho em cima de uma escada.

■ Não se incline demasiado para a frente quan-

do utilizar o aparelho. Garanta sempre uma posição segura e mantenha o equilíbrio em qualquer altura. Utilize o arnês fornecido para dividir uniformemente o peso pelo corpo.

■ Use botas resistentes e antiderrapantes.

■ Não utilize o aparelho em caso de chuva ou

humidade.

■ Não utilize o aparelho na proximidade de cabos

elétricos. Mantenha uma distância mínima de 10 m relativamente a cabos elétricos aéreos.

■ Não se coloque debaixo dos ramos que pre-

tenda cortar, para evitar ferimentos causados pela queda dos mesmos. Preste atenção também a ramos que possam saltar para trás, para evitar ferimentos. Trabalhe sob um ângulo de aprox. 60°.

■ Tenha atenção que pode ocorrer um contragolpe

do aparelho.

■ Observe não só os ramos a trabalhar, como

também o material que cai, para evitar tropeçar.

■ Faça uma pausa de uma hora, no mínimo, após

30 minutos de trabalho.

■ Use sempre luvas de proteção.

■ Cubra a calha de guia e a corrente com a

cobertura durante o transporte e o armazenamento.

■ Não utilize o aparelho em ambientes potencial-

mente explosivos, tal como na proximidade de líquidos inﬂamáveis, gases ou vapores. As faíscas produzidas pela máquina podem inﬂamar estes vapores ou gases.

■ A tomada utilizada tem de ser adequada à

ﬁcha. Nunca efetue alterações na ﬁcha, para evitar um choque elétrico.

■ Retire a ﬁcha da tomada, puxando pela ﬁcha

e nunca pelo próprio cabo. Não utilize o cabo elétrico para puxar ou transportar o aparelho. Mantenha o cabo elétrico afastado de calor, óleo, arestas aﬁadas e peças móveis.

■ Remova o bloco acumulador após o trabalho

ou durante os trabalhos de limpeza e manutenção no aparelho.

■ Evite o arranque involuntário do aparelho.

■ Aparelhos com interruptor avariado têm de ser

reparados imediatamente, para evitar danos e ferimentos.

■ Guarde o aparelho fora do alcance das crian-

ças. Apenas as pessoas que estão familiarizadas com o manual de instruções e o aparelho podem operá-lo.

■ Execute cuidadosamente a manutenção das

ferramentas elétricas. Veriﬁque se as peças móveis funcionam corretamente e não estão encravadas, e se existem peças partidas ou daniﬁcadas a ponto de interferir no bom funciona-

mento da ferramenta elétrica. Antes de utilizar o aparelho, as peças daniﬁcadas devem ser reparadas. Muitos acidentes ocorrem devido à má manutenção das ferramentas elétricas.

■ Mantenha as ferramentas de corte limpas e

aﬁadas. Ferramentas de corte bem conservadas e aﬁadas encravam muito menos e são mais fáceis de conduzir.

■ A manutenção tem de ser realizada por pes-

soal devidamente qualiﬁcado. Utilize apenas peças sobresselentes originais recomendadas pelo fabricante.

Precauções contra contragolpe

ATENÇÃO, PERIGO DE

CONTRAGOLPE!

► Tenha atenção a um contragolpe do apare-

lho durante a execução do trabalho. Perigo de ferimentos. Com prudência e a técnica de serração correta evitam-se contragolpes.

■ Um contacto com a ponta da calha pode, em

muitos casos, causar uma reação inesperada para trás, sendo a calha de guia para cima, no sentido do operador (ver ﬁg. A).

Um contragolpe é a consequência de uma utilização errada ou incorreta da ferramenta elétrica. Este pode ser evitado por meio de medidas adequadas, tal como descrito a seguir:

■ Segure na serra com as duas mãos, apertan-

do os punhos da serra de corrente com os polegares e dedos. Coloque o seu corpo e braços numa posição em que consiga resistir às forças de um contragolpe. Se forem toma-

forma de aﬁar e a manutenção da corrente de serra. Limitadores de profundidade de-

masiado baixos aumentam a tendência para contragolpe.

■ Não serre com a ponta da lâmina. Perigo de

contragolpe.

■ Certiﬁque-se de que não existem objetos no

solo em que possa tropeçar.

This appliance is intended for trimming branches in trees. It is not designed for extensive sawing work, felling trees or cutting of materials such as masonry, plastics or foods. 1. Work area safety

a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered

or dark areas invite accidents.

b) Do not operate power tools in explosive

atmospheres, such as in the presence of ﬂammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create

sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

c) Keep children and bystanders away while

operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

2. Electrical safety

a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never

modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodiﬁed plugs and matching

outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.

b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded

surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of elec-

tric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.

c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet

conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.

d) Do not abuse the cable. Never use the cable

for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled

cables increase the risk of electric shock.

e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use

an extension cable suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cable suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

f) If operating a power tool in a damp location

is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD

reduces the risk of electric shock.

3. Personal safety

a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use

common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are ill, tired or under the inﬂuence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while

operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.

b) Use personal protective equipment. Always

wear safety goggles. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.

c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch

is in the oﬀ position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your

ﬁnger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.

d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before

turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.

e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and

balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.

f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or

jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewel-

lery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

g) If devices are provided for the connection of

dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use

of dust collection systems can can reduce dustrelated hazards.

4. Power tool use and care

a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct

power tool for your application. The correct

power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

b) Do not use the power tool if the switch is

defective. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

c) Disconnect the plug from the power source

and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such

preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.

d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of

children. Do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are

dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment

or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may aﬀect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many

accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly

maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits

etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the

power tool for operations other from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

5. Use and handling of the cableless

electrical power tool

a) Charge a rechargeable battery unit using

only the charger recommended by the manufacturer. Chargers are often designed for a

particular type of rechargeable battery. There is a risk of ﬁre if other types of rechargeable battery are used.

b) Only the rechargeable battery units supplied

are to be used with the power tools. The use of other rechargeable battery units may lead to the danger of injury or ﬁre.

c) When they are not being used, store re-

chargeable battery units away from paper clips, coins, keys. nails, screws or other small metal objects that could cause the contacts to be bridged. Short-circuiting the contacts of a

rechargeable battery may result in burns or ﬁre.

d) Fluid may leak out of rechargeable batteries

if they are misused. If this happens, avoid contact with the ﬂuid. If accidental contact occurs, rinse the aﬀected area with water. Seek additional medical help if any of the ﬂuid gets into your eyes. Escaping battery ﬂuid may

cause skin irritation or burns.

Never charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Protect the battery from heat, e.g.

also from continuous sunlight, ﬁre, water and humidity. There is a risk of

explosion.

6. Service

a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualiﬁed

repair person using only original replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the

power tool is maintained.

Appliance-speciﬁc safety instructions for cordless pruners

■ Always wear a hard hat, hearing protection

and safety gloves. Also wear eye protection to prevent splashes of oil or saw dust from falling into your eyes. Wear a dust mask to protect yourself from dust.

■ Never use the appliance while standing on a

ladder.

■ Do not lean too far forwards while using the

appliance. Ensure you are standing ﬁrmly and keep your balance at all times. Use the supplied carrying strap to spread the weight evenly on the body.

■ Wear sturdy, non-slip boots.

■ Do not use the appliance in the rain.

■ Do not use the appliance near overhead power

lines. Maintain a minimum distance of 10 m to overhead power lines.

■ Do not stand under the branches that you

want to cut oﬀ, to avoid injuries due to falling branches. Be aware of branches that may spring back, to avoid injuries. Work at an angle of approximately 60°.

■ Be aware that the appliance can kick back.

■ Keep an eye not only on the branches being

cut, but also on falling material, to avoid tripping.

■ After 30 minutes' work, take a break of at least

one hour.

■ Always wear protective gloves.

■ Cover the guide rail and the chain during

transport during transport and storage using the cover.

■ Do not use the appliance in a potentially explo-

sive environment containing ﬂammable liquids, gases or dusts. The sparks generated by the machine could ignite the vapours or gases.

■ The power outlet used must be suitable for the

plug. To avoid electrical shocks, never try to modify the plug.

■ Never remove the plug from the power supply

by pulling on the power cable. Always pull the power plug itself. Do not drag or carry the appliance using the power cable. Keep power cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.

■ Remove the battery pack from the appliance

after completion of work or during cleaning and maintenance.

■ Avoid unintentional starting of the appliance.

■ Appliances with defective switches must be re-

paired immediately to avoid damage or injuries.

■ Store the appliance outside of the reach of chil-

dren. Only those who are fully acquainted with these operating instructions and the appliance itself may operate the appliance.

■ Maintain power tools carefully. Check for mis-

alignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may aﬀect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

■ Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly

maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

■ Therefore, have the appliance checked by quali-

ﬁed specialists. Use only the replacement parts recommended by the manufacturer.

Precautions against kickback

CAUTION KICKBACK!

► Be aware of the danger of kickback when

working with the appliance. There is a risk of personal injury. You can avoid kickbacks by being careful and using the correct sawing technique.

■ Contact with the tip of the rail can, in some

cases, lead to an unexpected rearwards reaction resulting in the guide rail upwards towards the operator (see Fig. A).

■ Kickbacks can occur if the tip of the guide rail

touches an object or if the wood bends and the saw chain gets caught in the cut (see Fig. B).

■ If the saw chain jams in the upper edge of

the guide rail , the rail can kick back violently towards the operator.

■ Any such reaction can lead to you losing con-

trol over the saw and possibly injuring yourself. Do not rely solely on the chainsaw's built-in safety devices. As the user of a chainsaw, you can take a number of measures to avoid accidents and injury. A kickback is caused by incorrect use or misuse of the power tool. It can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below:

■ Hold the saw ﬁrmly with both hands, with

your thumb and ﬁnger around the handles of the chainsaw. Hold your body and arms in a position in which you can withstand kickback forces. If suitable measures are taken, the op-

erator can control the recoil forces. Never let go of the chainsaw.

■ Avoid an abnormal posture. This will prevent

inadvertent contact with the tip of the rail and allows a better control of the chainsaw in unexpected situations.

■ Always use the replacement rails and saw

chains speciﬁed by the manufacturer. Incor-

rect replacement rails and saw chains can lead to a tearing of the saw chain and/or kickback.

■ Follow the manufacturer's instructions for

sharpening and maintenance of the saw chain. Setting the depth stop too low can

increase the risk of kickback.

■ Do not saw with the tip of the blade.

This can lead to kickback.

■ Ensure that there are no objects on the

ground that you can trip over.

■ During operation, no other person or animal

may be within a radius of 15 metres. The operator is responsible for third parties within the warking area.

■ Keep the appliance, the cutting mechanism and

the blade guard in good condition to prevent injury.

■ Children should be supervised to ensure that

they do not play with the appliance.

■ Do not use the appliance until you have famil-

iarised yourself with its use.

■ Do not work with a damaged or incomplete ap-

pliance or an appliance that has been modiﬁed without the consent of the manufacturer. Never use the unit with defective protective equipment. Do not use the appliance if it has a defective on/ oﬀ switch. Before use, check the security state of the appliance, especially the blade and the saw chain. If the appliance has been dropped, check for signiﬁcant damage or defects.

■ Never start the appliance before the blade,

saw chain and sprocket covers have been ﬁtted correctly.

■ When starting and operating the appliance, en-

sure that it does not come into contact with the ground, stones, wire or other foreign material. Switch the appliance oﬀ before you put it down.

■ The device is designed for two-handed opera-

tion. Never work with one hand.

cutting tools get caught or jammed in branches. Switch the appliance oﬀ immediately and do not switch it on until the blockage has been removed. There is a risk of personal injury!

Fixing/attaching the shoulder strap

rend der Benutzung des Elektrowerkzeugs fern. Bei Ablenkung können Sie die Kontrolle

über das Gerät verlieren.

2. Elektrische Sicherheit

a) Der Anschlussstecker des Elektrowerkzeuges

muss in die Steckdose passen. Der Stecker darf in keiner Weise verändert werden. Verwenden Sie keine Adapterstecker gemeinsam mit schutzgeerdeten Elektrowerkzeugen.

Unveränderte Stecker und passende Steckdosen verringern das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.

b) Vermeiden Sie Körperkontakt mit geerdeten

Oberﬂächen, wie von Rohren, Heizungen, Herden und Kühlschränken. Es besteht ein

erhöhtes Risiko durch elektrischen Schlag, wenn Ihr Körper geerdet ist.

c) Halten Sie Elektrowerkzeuge von Regen oder

Nässe fern. Das Eindringen von Wasser in ein Elektrogerät erhöht das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.

d) Zweckentfremden Sie das Kabel nicht, um

das Elektrowerkzeug zu tragen, aufzuhängen oder um den Stecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen. Halten Sie das Kabel fern von Hitze, Öl, scharfen Kanten oder sich bewegenden Geräteteilen. Beschädigte oder verwickelte Kabel

erhöhen das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.

e) Wenn Sie mit einem Elektrowerkzeug im

Freien arbeiten, verwenden Sie nur Verlängerungskabel, die auch für den Außenbereich zugelassen sind. Die Anwendung eines für den

Außenbereich geeigneten Verlängerungskabels verringert das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.

f) Wenn der Betrieb des Elektrowerkzeuges in

feuchter Umgebung nicht vermeidbar ist, verwenden Sie einen Fehlerstromschutzschalter.

Der Einsatz eines Fehlerstromschutzschalters vermindert das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.

3. Sicherheit von Personen

a) Seien Sie stets aufmerksam, achten Sie darauf,

was Sie tun und gehen Sie mit Vernunft an die Arbeit mit einem Elektrowerkzeug. Benutzen Sie kein Elektrowerkzeug, wenn Sie krank oder müde oder unter dem Einﬂuss von Drogen, Alkohol oder Medikamenten stehen. Ein Moment der

Unachtsamkeit beim Gebrauch des Elektrowerkzeuges kann zu ernsthaften Verletzungen führen.

b) Tragen Sie persönliche Schutzausrüstung und

immer eine Schutzbrille. Das Tragen persönlicher Schutzausrüstung wie Staubmaske, rutschfeste Sicherheitsschuhe, Schutzhelm oder Gehörschutz, je nach Art und Einsatz des Elektrowerkzeuges, verringert das Risiko von Verletzungen.

c) Vermeiden Sie eine unbeabsichtigte Inbetrieb-

nahme. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Elektrowerkzeug ausgeschaltet ist, bevor Sie es an die Stromversorgung und / oder den Akku anschließen, es aufnehmen oder tragen.

Wenn Sie beim Tragen des Elektrowerkzeuges den Finger am Schalter haben oder das Gerät bereits eingeschaltet an die Stromversorgung anschließen, kann dies zu Unfällen führen.

d) Entfernen Sie Einstellwerkzeuge oder Schrau-

benschlüssel, bevor Sie das Elektrowerkzeug einschalten. Ein Werkzeug oder Schlüssel, der

sich in einem drehenden Geräteteil beﬁndet, kann zu Verletzungen führen.

e) Vermeiden Sie eine abnormale Körperhaltung.

Sorgen Sie für einen sicheren Stand und halten Sie jederzeit das Gleichgewicht. Dadurch kön-

nen Sie das Elektrowerkzeug in unerwarteten Situationen besser kontrollieren.

f) Tragen Sie geeignete Kleidung. Tragen Sie

keine weite Kleidung oder Schmuck. Halten Sie Haare, Kleidung und Handschuhe fern von sich bewegenden Teilen. Lockere Kleidung,

Schmuck oder lange Haare können von sich bewegenden Teilen erfasst werden.

g) Wenn Staubabsaug- und -auﬀangeinrichtun-

gen montiert werden können, vergewissern Sie sich, dass diese angeschlossen sind und richtig verwendet werden. Die Verwendung

einer Staubabsaugung kann Gefährdungen durch Staub verringern.

4. Verwendung und Behandlung des Elektrowerkzeugs

a) Überlasten Sie das Gerät nicht. Verwenden

Sie für Ihre Arbeit das dafür bestimmte Elektrowerkzeug. Mit dem passenden Elektro-

werkzeug arbeiten Sie besser und sicherer im angegebenen Leistungsbereich.

b) Benutzen Sie kein Elektrowerkzeug, dessen

Schalter defekt ist. Ein Elektrowerkzeug, das

sich nicht mehr ein- oder ausschalten lässt, ist gefährlich und muss repariert werden.

c) Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose

und / oder entfernen Sie den Akku, bevor Sie Geräteeinstellungen vornehmen, Zubehörteile wechseln oder das Gerät weglegen. Diese

Vorsichtsmaßnahme verhindert den unbeabsichtigten Start des Elektrowerkzeuges.

d) Bewahren Sie unbenutzte Elektrowerkzeuge

außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf. Lassen Sie Personen das Gerät nicht benutzen, die mit diesem nicht vertraut sind oder diese Anweisungen nicht gelesen haben. Elektro-

werkzeuge sind gefährlich, wenn sie von unerfahrenen Personen benutzt werden.

e) Pﬂegen Sie Elektrowerkzeuge mit Sorgfalt.

Kontrollieren Sie, ob bewegliche Teile einwandfrei funktionieren und nicht klemmen, ob Teile gebrochen oder so beschädigt sind, dass die Funktion des Elektrowerkzeuges beeinträchtigt ist. Lassen Sie beschädigte Teile vor dem Einsatz des Gerätes reparieren. Viele Unfälle haben ihre

Ursache in schlecht gewarteten Elektrowerkzeugen.

f) Halten Sie Schneidwerkzeuge scharf und

sauber. Sorgfältig gepﬂegte Schneidwerkzeuge mit scharfen Schneidkanten verklemmen sich weniger und sind leichter zu führen.

g) Verwenden Sie Elektrowerkzeug, Zubehör,

Einsatzwerkzeuge usw. entsprechend diesen Anweisungen. Berücksichtigen Sie dabei die Arbeitsbedingungen und die auszuführende Tätigkeit. Der Gebrauch von Elektrowerkzeugen

für andere als die vorgesehenen Anwendungen kann zu gefährlichen Situationen führen.

5. Verwendung und Behandlung des Akkuwerkzeugs

a) Laden Sie die Akkus nur in Ladegeräten auf,

die vom Hersteller empfohlen werden. Für

ein Ladegerät, das für eine bestimmte Art von Akkus geeignet ist, besteht Brandgefahr, wenn es mit anderen Akkus verwendet wird.

b) Verwenden Sie nur die dafür vorgesehenen

Akkus in den Elektrowerkzeugen. Der Gebrauch von anderen Akkus kann zu Verletzungen und Brandgefahr führen.

c) Halten Sie den nicht benutzten Akku fern von

Büroklammern, Münzen, Schlüsseln, Nägeln, Schrauben oder anderen kleinen Metallgegenständen, die eine Überbrückung der Kontakte verursachen könnten. Ein Kurzschluss zwischen

den Akkukontakten kann Verbrennungen oder Feuer zur Folge haben.

d) Bei falscher Anwendung kann Flüssigkeit aus

dem Akku austreten. Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt damit. Bei zufälligem Kontakt mit Wasser abspülen. Wenn die Flüssigkeit in die Augen kommt, nehmen Sie zusätzlich ärztliche Hilfe in Anspruch. Austretende Akkuﬂüssigkeit kann

zu Hautreizungen oder Verbrennungen führen.

Laden Sie nicht auﬂadbare Batterien niemals auf.

Schützen Sie den Akku vor Hitze, z. B.

auch vor dauernder Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuer, Wasser und Feuchtigkeit.

Es besteht Explosionsgefahr.

6. Service

a) Lassen Sie Ihr Elektrowerkzeug nur von qualiﬁzier-

tem Fachpersonal und nur mit Original-Ersatzteilen reparieren. Damit wird sichergestellt, dass die

Sicherheit des Elektrowerkzeugs erhalten bleibt.

Gerätespeziﬁsche Sicherheitshinweise für Hochentaster

■ Tragen Sie stets einen Schutzhelm, Gehörschutz

und Sicherheitshandschuhe. Tragen Sie auch Augenschutz, um keine Ölspritzer oder Sägestaub in die Augen zu bekommen. Tragen Sie eine Staubmaske gegen Staub.

■ Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals auf einer

Leiter stehend.

■ Lehnen Sie sich bei der Verwendung des Gerätes

nicht zu weit nach vorne. Achten Sie immer auf einen sicheren Stand und halten Sie jederzeit das Gleichgewicht. Verwenden Sie den im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Tragegurt, um das Gewicht gleichmäßig auf den Körper zu verteilen.

■ Tragen Sie robuste, rutschfeste Stiefel.

■ Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht bei Regen oder

Feuchtigkeit.

■ Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von

Stromleitungen. Halten Sie einen Mindestabstand von 10 m zu oberirdischen Stromleitungen.

■ Stellen Sie sich nicht unter die Äste, die sie

abschneiden möchten, um Verletzungen durch heruntergefallene Äste zu vermeiden. Achten Sie auch auf zurückspringende Äste, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden. Arbeiten sie unter einem Winkel von ca. 60°.

■ Achten Sie darauf, dass es zu einem Geräte-

rückschlag kommen kann.

■ Beobachten Sie nicht nur zu bearbeitende Äste,

sondern auch heruntergefallenes Material, um Stolpern zu vermeiden.

■ Legen Sie nach 30 Arbeitsminuten eine Pause

von mindestens einer Stunde ein.

■ Tragen Sie stets Schutzhandschuhe.

■ Decken Sie die Führungsschiene und die Kette bei

Transport und Lagerung mit der Schwertschutzhülle ab.

■ Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in explosions-

gefährdeter Umgebung, wie in der Nähe von entzündlichen Flüssigkeiten, Gasen oder Dämpfen. Die von der Maschine produzierten Funken können diese Dämpfe oder Gase entzünden.

■ Die verwendete Steckdose muss für den Stecker

geeignet sein. Nehmen Sie niemals Änderungen am Stecker vor, um einen elektrischen Schlag zu vermeiden.

■ Netzstecker nicht durch Ziehen an der Leitung

aus der Steckdose ziehen, sondern am Netzstecker anfassen. Verwenden Sie das Netzkabel nicht, um das Gerät zu ziehen oder zu transportieren. Halten Sie das Netzkabel von Hitze, Öl, scharfen Kanten und beweglichen Teilen fern.

■ Entfernen Sie den Akkupack nach Beendigung

der Arbeit oder bei Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten am Gerät.

■ Vermeiden Sie unbeabsichtigtes Starten des Gerätes.

■ Geräte mit defektem Schalter müssen unmit-

telbar repariert werden, um Schäden und Verletzungen zu vermeiden.

■ Lagern Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von

Kindern. Nur mit der Bedienungsanleitung und dem Gerät vertraute Personen dürfen dieses bedienen.

■ Warten Sie Elektrowerkzeuge sorgfältig.

■ Halten Sie Schneidwerkzeuge scharf und

sauber. Sorgfältig gepﬂegte Schneidwerkzeuge mit scharfen Schneidkanten verklemmen sich weniger und sind leichter zu führen.

■ Lassen Sie das Gerät von dafür qualiﬁziertem

Personal warten. Verwenden Sie nur vom Hersteller empfohlene Original-Ersatzteile.

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen gegen Rückschlag

ACHTUNG RÜCKSCHLAG!

► Achten Sie beim Arbeiten auf Rückschlag des

Gerätes. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr. Sie vermeiden Rückschläge durch Vorsicht und richtige Sägetechnik.

■ Eine Berührung mit der Schienenspitze kann in

manchen Fällen zu einer unerwarteten nach hinten gerichteten Reaktion führen, bei der die Führungsschiene Bedienperson geschlagen wird (siehe Abb. A).

■ Rückschlag kann auftreten, wenn die Spitze der

Führungsschiene einen Gegenstand berührt oder wenn das Holz sich biegt und die Sägekette

im Schnitt festklemmt (siehe Abb. B).

■ Das Verklemmen der Sägekette an der Ober-

kante der Führungsschiene kann die Schiene heftig in Bedienerrichtung zurückstoßen.

■ Jede dieser Reaktionen kann dazu führen, dass

Sie die Kontrolle über die Säge verlieren und sich möglicherweise schwer verletzen. Verlassen Sie sich nicht ausschließlich auf die in der Kettensäge eingebauten Sicherheitseinrichtungen. Ergreifen Sie als Benutzer einer Kettensäge verschiedene Maßnahmen, um unfall- und verletzungsfrei zu arbeiten. Ein Rückschlag ist die Folge eines falschen oder fehlerhaften Gebrauchs des Elektrowerkzeugs. Er kann durch geeignete Vorsichtsmaßnahmen, wie nachfolgend beschrieben, verhindert werden:

■ Halten Sie die Säge mit beiden Händen fest,

wobei Daumen und Finger die Griﬀe der Kettensäge umschließen. Bringen Sie Ihren Körper und die Arme in eine Stellung, in der Sie den Rückschlagkräften standhalten können. Wenn

geeignete Maßnahmen getroﬀen werden, kann die Bedienperson die Rückschlagkräfte beherrschen. Niemals die Kettensäge loslassen.

■ Vermeiden Sie eine abnormale Körper-

haltung. Dadurch wird ein unbeabsichtigtes

Berühren mit der Schienenspitze vermieden und eine bessere Kontrolle der Kettensäge in unerwarteten Situationen ermöglicht.

■ Verwenden Sie stets vom Hersteller vorgeschrie-

bene Ersatzschienen und Sägeketten. Falsche

Ersatzschienen und Sägeketten können zum Reißen der Sägekette und/oder zu Rückschlag führen.

■ Halten Sie sich an die Anweisungen des

Herstellers für das Schärfen und die Wartung der Sägekette. Zu niedrige Tiefenbegrenzer

erhöhen die Neigung zu Rückschlag.

■ Sägen Sie nicht mit der Schwertspitze. Es

besteht Rückschlagsgefahr.

■ Sorgen Sie dafür, dass keine Gegenstände am

Boden liegen, über die Sie stolpern können.

Weiterführende Sicherheitshinweise

► Fassen Sie niemals das Gerät im laufenden

■ Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicher-

zustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

■ Arbeiten Sie nicht mit einem beschädigten, unvoll-

ständigen oder ohne Zustimmung des Herstellers geänderten Gerät. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nie mit defekter Schutzausrüstung. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht bei defektem Ein-/Ausschalter. Prüfen Sie vor dem Gebrauch den Sicherheitszustand des Gerätes, insbesondere das Schwert und die Sägekette. Prüfen Sie nach Fallenlassen das Gerät auf signiﬁkante Schäden oder Defekte.

■ Starten Sie das Gerät nie, bevor Schwert,

■ Achten Sie beim Standortwechsel darauf, dass

das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist und der Finger nicht den Ein-/Ausschalter berührt. Tragen Sie das Gerät mit nach hinten gerichteter Sägekette und Schwert. Bringen Sie für den Transport die Schwertschutzhülle an.

■ Setzen Sie bei jedem Schnitt den Krallenan-

schlag mit dem Sägen.

■ Seien Sie beim Sägen kleiner Büsche und Äste

äußerst vorsichtig. Das dünne Astwerk kann sich in der Säge verfangen und in Ihre Richtung schlagen oder Sie aus dem Gleichgewicht bringen.

■ Schneiden Sie kein am Boden liegendes Holz

bzw. versuchen Sie nicht aus dem Boden ragende Wurzeln zu sägen. Vermeiden Sie auf jeden Fall, dass die Sägekette in das Erdreich eintaucht, da die Sägekette andernfalls sofort abstumpft.

■ Achten Sie beim Sägen eines unter Spannung

stehenden Astes auf einen möglichen Rückschlag, wenn die Spannung des Holzes plötzlich nachlässt. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr.

■ Versuchen Sie nicht im Falle eines Verkantens

oder Einklemmens der Schneidgarnitur im Astwerk das Gerät durch Gewaltanwendung zu befreien. Schalten Sie das Gerät sofort aus und erst nach Entfernen der Blockade wieder ein. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr!

zustand, um Verletzungen vorzubeugen.

■ Prüfen Sie nach Fallenlassen das Gerät auf

■ Beachten Sie den vorgeschriebenen Arbeits-

winkel 60°±10°, um ein sicheres Arbeiten zu

■ Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht auf einer Leiter

Eine längere Benutzung des Gerätes kann zu vibrationsbedingten Durchblutungsstörungen der Hände führen. Sie können die Benutzungsdauer jedoch durch geeignete Handschuhe oder regelmäßige Pausen verlängern. Achten Sie darauf, dass die persönliche Veranlagung zu schlechter Durchblutung, niedrige Außentemperaturen oder große Greifkräfte beim Arbeiten die Benutzungsdauer verringern.

Reinigung und Wartung

Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile die aus Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
