8. Bluetooth

Bluetooth refers to either the specifications for connecting wirelessly various devices

such as computers, mobile phones and home appliances, which are located within a

short distance, and then enabling real time, bi-directional communication among them,

or the products complying to those specifications.

The mobile phone (model G800) supports the Bluetooth headset function, Dial Up

Networking, and Serial Port Protocol, 그리고 FTP server 기능을 제공합니다. This

model allows you to place or receive calls with the headset without going through the

handset.

The Bluetooth Menu can be accessed via “Menu key->8.Bluetooth” or with the

Bluetooth shortcut keys on the right side of the handset.

1) Turn on/off

(1) On

Activates Bluetooth functions.(The BlueTooth icon appears in idle mode)

(2) Off

Deactivates Bluetooth functions.

2) Paired devices

Displays a list of registered devices. If there is no device registered, the “List

Empty” screen will appear. Then, you must first find the nearby Bluetooth

devices via the “Searching” process and register them. Then press ‘ok’ key

and enter the password to pair with the Bluetooth devices. You can perform

this task through the pop-up menu displayed when pressing the MENU key.

- Connect/Disconnect

This option is for connecting or disconnecting Bluetooth devices. When

connected to or disconnected from the other device after initiating the

connect or disconnect function, a pop-up window will appear to inform

you of the result . 이 메뉴는 등록된 device 가 헤드셋 profile 을 지원할

경우 나타납니다.

- Add new device

Performs the function to register a new device. When you select this

option, a sub-menu will appear with features for additional registration.

The menu allows you to select the device to be newly registered.

[5] others

When the “Searching” process ends, devices available for registration will

be displayed on the screen. If there is no device available for registration,

the screen will display “not found” and then return to the previous screen.

If you select the device(s) from the search list, which we wish to register,

your handset will ask for the Password to be used for registering with the

other party. If you enter the Password and then other party also enters

the Password correctly, the registration will be completed.

Please note that you must enter the same Password when the other

party’s Password has been preset as in the case of the handset.

- Edit name

You can edit the name of your cell phone.

- Delete

Deletes registration. The related contents are deleted from the ‘paired

devices list.’

- Set as authorized /unauthorized

Authorizes/Unauthorizes the device

If the device is ‘authorized’, 내 phone 에 허락없이 접근이 가능합니다.

이 메뉴는 등록된 device type 이 PC 일 경우에 보여집니다.

- Set as default

If two or more headsets have been registered, choose one of them to be

set as the default headset. Placing or receiving calls through headset will

be done via the default headset. Although you can set a default headset

using the menu, the last headset connected will be automatically set as

the default headset. 이 메뉴는 등록된 device 가 헤드셋 profile 을 지원

할 경우 나타납니다.

3) Headset

(1) My headset

Shows the list of registered headsets. You must register before using the

headset. The headset is controlled through popup menus.

- Connect/Disconnect

Connects/disconnects the headset function.

- Add new headset

Adds new headset.

This function searches for headsets, and shows the list of headsets

available when it is done searching. If there are no headsets available,

then a popup screen will appear and you will be moved back to the

previous stage.

When a desired device is selected from the searched list, your handset

will ask for the Password. Enter the exact Password preset in the

headset to successfully register the device.

- Edit name

You can edit the name of the cell phone.

- Delete

Cancels registration and deletes corresponding information from My Headset

List
